Really enjoyed this property. Room was clean and parking was easy. Staff friendly. Central to everything. Would definitely stay here again.
Front desk were very helpful and attendant at breakfast was very nice
We didn’t know Universities were available to rent rooms for summer. It was a pleasure to get acquainted with Memorial University for a few days. The Continental breakfast made our morning easier. Doing laundry on-site was very convenient and inexpensive. Laundry pods @ dryer sheets supplied.
I liked the clearness and the friendly and helpful students working in reception and the breakfast area.
This was a simple dorm room with a shower and a bathroom. Common area had a fridge and microwave. It was perfect for me. I just needed a place to sleep while I was visiting my daughter. A four day stay was $400 less than the cheapest hotel.
Very clean, lots of in room storage, friendly staff, comfortable dorm style bed, lovely campus and 30+ min walk to downtown.

Room was very clean and well maintained, staff were great. Loved the swimming pool, hot tub and sauna.
Very close to George and Water Street, as well as many other attractions (Signal Hill, Cape Spear, Quidi Vidi). Bed was super comfortable! Note to Bonvoyers - $10 voucher is not good for alcohol in the bar of the hotel. Pool, hot tub and sauna were clean and all working.
Good location right in St John’s. Our experience was not very good, the two check in staff didn’t care to talk. No greetings, no smiles, no introducing us to the hotel. Just so Minimum, immediately felt unwelcomed, they were border line rude. The first people you talk to make an impression on the city and after the wonderful people we meet at deer lake, this felt like a huge let down. The first room...
Delta St. John’s is located at one end of Downtown and walking distance to Water Street and George Street. Hotel has a big lobby with a good restaurant located right in the lobby. Even though I didn’t use them, but they have a nice gym and a pool in the lower level. There’s a Starbucks right in the lobby which is very convenient. The entrance of the hotel is from the back and if you are going there...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Delta in St. John's, Newfoundland, and I must say, despite a few outdated elements, the experience was truly delightful. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who ensured my check-in process was seamless. The lobby exuded an elegant charm, though I couldn't help but notice that the overall style of the rooms seemed...

Nice hotel, good location with working distance to most attractions in St John's. We stayed here for 7 nights, very satisfied with the facilities, enjoyed the gym and swimming pool. After a day touring, soak into the Hot tub, then sauna, you feel relaxed and refreshed. The hotel service is good, warm and kind reception. We also had a dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious
Upscale hotel with a touch of luxury and creature comforts appreciated by those who travel frequently. Conveniently located on the East end of downtown St. John's within walking distance of many interesting sites in this oldest city in North America. Beautiful indoor tropical garden with waterworks. Spectacular room views of the city to the North and West as well as the historic Signal Hill (The...
I was a regular and a true fan of this location for many years. Sadly, my staying this week resulted in looking for a new Hotel for my future staying. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare and inconvenience. I'm going to spare you all the 4 times I tried to get in and out that made me almost being late from meetings. The restaurant is no longer there which would have been lovely to know so I wouldn...
Good friendly service. Nice hotel - the atrium looked nice. Gym and pool in good condition, clean and well equipped. Our room was clean and well appointed although the carpet was due for a cleaning. Overall a little pricey but still good value and a quality stay. Would go back.
From the moment I walked through the front doors into the lobby, until my departure, the experience was amazing. All staff were so friendly, courteous and helpful. The meals in The Bivver Restaurant were scrumptious ~ I enjoyed every bite-full! The servers were very welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable ~ it made a pleasure to dine there. We loved the suite we had booked as a mini anniversary celebration. The hotel, overall, and location were perfect for a lovely stay in the city following a conference in town. Our room service dinner on arrival was excellent as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Had an incredible getaway with my children lastnight. We ate good food, had a lovely room that was clean and comfy. Went swimming and had a dance party
Enjoyable and comfortable place to stay! Staff are friendly and accomodating
Older hotel & the free breakfast is in the sorta Italian restaurant. You use coupons for the free breakfast. Toilet ran constantly. (We took the top off so we could pop the rubber thing down to stop it. Didn't know the big difference in this Holiday Inn from the newer one at the airport! What a difference! If we return, we know which one to stay at NOW!

This is a comfortable hotel in a great location. We booked a suite and it was perfect for our week-long stay. We also had a lovely dinner at the Little Sparo restaurant with superb service. Overall, I would recommend this place. The view is lovely and although there was some noise from the working harbor, it didn't go beyond 10pm. A couple of areas where there is room for improvement: 1. The bathroom...
This was my second Double Tree hotel on my Canadian holiday and it was great. I chose a corner room with a harbour view and it was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. The guest laundry was easy to use and well located. The staff were very helpful. I was only here for one night before joining an expedition cruise but it was perfect for my needs, especially the easy walk to the waterfront shops...
This is actually the second time I’m staying here. My first visit, back in the summer of 2019, this hotel was undergoing a major renovation/rebranding. Now with all of the work completed, I was eager to return. Our harbor view room (two queen beds) was tastefully decorated and the view was as great as I remember. It is fascinating to watch all of the activity taking place on the offshore supply vessels...
Great location on the water. Staff very professional. Rooms are clean and quiet hotel with amazing view of the bay. Treat Diamond members well not only with water and preferred parking but also free parking for Diamond members! Always a nice touch to have a warm chocolate chip cookie but we were disappointed the second night arriving back home from dinner they were being “rationed”
Stayed 3 nights in a King harbour view corner suite … very interesting to see personal watercraft & marine activity in the harbour. Nice view of Signal Hill from our room! I’ve stayed here many times and usually have a great experience. Front staff are always so friendly and helpful. I recommend asking for one of the newer rooms if possible - the older rooms are outdated for sure. If you want to be close to the airport without hearing any planes, this is an excellent choice. I did have an issue during my last stay here, however Cory the manager was very prompt in rectifying...
First time I've stayed in a hotel in maybe 12 years due to uncleanliness in even upscale hotels. Was nervous, but I would stay again without a doubt. So very clean, comfy, and amazingly pet friendly.
Excellent service all around - from free shuttle to/from airport, delicious breakfasts (also free), comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly front desk staff, and complimentary desktop computer and printer in the lobby. The cleaning staff always had a smile too.
Rooms were good but a little musty. Maybe we got a room that was vacant for a while. We were there for a wedding. The meal was top notch. The open bar is highway robbery. $4 for 3/4 of a can of 7up. Double whiskey was $20. Some might say that's fair, I think it is taking advantage of people.
The restaurant was great, staff was friendly and bed was super comfy.
Staff are amazing. Great restaurant right in hotel, awsome breakfast served by the Clancy's complimentary from the hotel. They all go above and beyond for the guess and treat you like family. LOVE THIS HOTEL.

I loved havin the breakfast, that was a nice bonus The location was perfect to everything
Hotel has a good location right by the waterfront, near all the restaurants. Rooms are decent and depending your selection may have a nice seating area, tub with jets and nice glass wall shower. No microwave in rooms or in food area. Morning breakfast is a “grab and go” (muffins, yogurt, juice and hot beverages) with no trays to bring items back to rooms.
Location couldn’t be better. I’m reading the other reviews maybe we had an upgraded room because it was very nice with a king size comfy bed. Fabulous shower with towel warmer and mood fireplace. Very VERY friendly front desk staff.
Dated hotel, spotted a shrew on the corridor. The continental breakfast was a variety of muffins fruit and yoghurt. Not exactly what you would expect. Nothing wrong with the muffins... Spacious king size bed.
Room was beautiful, spacious and clean. Friendly service on the front desk.
Every time I go to St. John’s and need to stay the night this is where I stay. The hotel is the closest & in walking distance to restaurants, bars, local shopping & the Mary Browns Centre. No need to move your vehicle once you park it unless leaving downtown. The rooms are beautiful and the tubs are amazing. This hotel was very convenient for walking downtown. It took about 15 minutes. Having a cooker breakfast included was great and we were able to get some laundry done.
The included breakfast was available in the hotel’s spa building. The Spa building was a beautiful renovated character building. Great staff in bistro. They were friendly, warm, and efficient. Disappointed in our room as it was not in the main hotel but in an unattractive auxiliary building. Room was spacious and modern. Hotel reception was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The room was big with large fridge and cooking area. the bed sheets were not very comfortable maybe they were a poly/cotton mix...not sure.
This is a lovely spa hotel in a quiet area away from the downtown. Breakfast is included but the on-site bistro is small and the breakfast choices very limited. There are more choices if you are purchasing breakfast but we were not made aware of this.
Very good surrounding and property. Even though the breakfast choices were limited, the kitchen staff was super nice.

I went on a road trip to quebec , newbrunswick , novascotia , pei and finally newfoundland for 2 weeks . Best hotel out of all the ones i stayed at . Great alternative to hotels for medical travel. Price was good. Rooms were clean
This is my first time staying at Extended Care center and I am so thankful to have been able to do so. It was a pleasure to stay in such a clean, well organized facility. The fact that they have cooking facilities in each room and a shuttle bus that runs m-f 7:00-5:00 no charge to the Health Science Complex is amazing!
The extended stay is great for anyone coming in from out of town for medical appointments. They have a shuttle that runs every hour to the hospitals. The rooms however are not the cleanest, and you have to ask for plates, cups, cookware, etc to be brought to your room. I feel like it should be standard that those things are in your room upon check in. It also made me uneasy to find mouse traps in the...
Just had a two week stay there. Used it for medical issues and the Room was great. The Staff were friendly and helpful. This was a fun stay! Just pretending to be a student in dorm room was fun along with the simplicity and price.
The room was spacious, the bed inviting and comfortable and the breakfasts varied and plentiful. The place was quiet and a short distance out of town. Dorm rooms used for guests but fairly spacious. Shared bathroom might not be for everyone but doable. Very clean rooms and amazing staff. Downside are the short beds (I'm 6'3") and the fact that no sockets are near the bed, in case you want to charge your phone overnight and still have it nearby.

We stayed here for 1 night, in a good area. The restaurant in the hotel is closed down. Which is not posted.
The restaurant there was closed. We had to go out to eat . The room itself was clean.. I did find a few spots on the top blanket of our beds. And I asked for extra towels every day but never received them. And the location of the elevator is very confusing.
It was a nice hotel the AC doesn't really work and the showers are super short but besides that a nice place
The hotel is old, the service is OK Environment: average, not far from the airport, shopping is also quite convenient Facilities: outdated Service: The attitude is very good, this is a satisfactory place Hygiene: Not bad, it's clean to me

My favourite place to stay in St. John's. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, and so helpful. The home is beautiful and well kept, located walking distance from shops, hiking trails, and historic sites. Breakfast is fresh and delicious! Seriously recommend.
At Wit's Inn is amazing! The room is incredible and the claw foot bathtub is superb. It's close to everything in St John's. The breakfast was delicious and the host, James, is so great! I only have great things to say about this place!!
The house is beautiful and in such an amazing location! You are getting so much more than a place to sleep when you stay here. Only one issue. Ordered breakfast to our room, asked for two coffees. Received one coffee and a tomato juice. About 20 minutes from the airport and downtown. This hotel is very affordable, but don't expect the best experience. My room had paint chipping everywhere. Bathroom door lock didn't work. If you're looking for someone to just sleep and on a budget, this motel is perfect. If you plan on lounging and want something comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere.
