Great location near downtown.
Dinner at restaurant was very tasty.
Friendly staff.
For some reason my middle name was put as part of last name, making reservation hard to look up. But reception was really helpful to get it solved.

Nice location. Not a far walk from the downtown core on water street. The receptionist was super friendly and accommodating. She let us check in early! Good view of the harbour from the restaurant. Only complaint is that there is no coffee, and the breakfast inside the restaurant is $$$$

A solid Courtyard hotel, but what makes it really stand out is the incredible service. Everyone was fantastic, and when my travel plans got disrupted they did all you could expect and more to help make things work for me. Everyone I dealt with was kind and accommodating, and the staff alone is reason enough to stay here.

The location is quite convenient for restaurants and pubs. The stores and locals nearby the hotel are quite convenient too. Not everything is perfect, we were accommodated to the 3rd floor right in front of the cleaning room, we had noise and staff taking in front of our room (considering we add our do not disturb sign) every single morning starting around 7am disturbing our sleep. Also rooms cleaning service starts so early which I feel is quite rare for hotels. Please consider people some people travel to rest. We also found food in the mini fridge which was not a good sign of great cleaning.

St Johns hotels can be quite pricey during peak summer months but this Marriott property was a welcome respite. When you are hotel hopping for a few weeks with your family across The Rock and find yourself on the East Coast, check out this downtown hotel. Ask for Robinson. He's The Man. He's like a Ferris Bueller of this hotel that gets stuff done. He could see how tired this old dad was and worked some magic and got me a second night at a rate I could afford. GREAT JOB ROBINSON. Plus he has a cool name.
This downtown hotel is conveniently located just a short hike from the North Head Trail through the cool Battery neighborhood. It's hilly and fun and great for pics. Highly recommend because of the service.

Nice location close to the harbor and nightlife and daylife. All amenities not included are near. The rooms are well appointed and have everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable. The staff are always willing to help with anything you may need help with.

Got stuck here during a snowstorm with no power & the staff was great! Everyone is so friendly. We had a blast. My only real tip is to ask for a city view room if you like to sleep in. Harbour is LOUD

Just had the pleasure of staying at the St. John’s Courtyard by Marriott. Throughout the duration of our stay we were blown away by the location, views, and most of all the service! As someone who works within the hospitality industry I was pleasantly surprised by the care, kindness, and professionalism demonstrated by the Marriott staff. One staff member in particular named Teri was especially accommodating and welcoming to any and all who walked through the front doors of the hotel. The room facing the harbour was superb but the service topped it all during our stay and I can firmly say that upon subsequent visits we will be choosing Courtyard by Marriott. Thanks to the hardworking and dedicated staff for your services during our stay!

It was a typical generic hotel room and basic features. I didnt tour around the hotel much to see any of its amenities.
