Inn at the Forks

Stayed at the Inn at the Forks on a recent visit and will definitely stay there again. Modern hotel with all amenities and very comfortable room. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great location to downtown and my meeting locations. Ample parking available. I recommend you give it a try when in Winnipeg.

For years we've held an annual meeting with our cross Canadian managers at Inn at the Forks. The out of town managers love staying at the hotel. The meeting atmosphere, food and service are always spot on. Inn at the Forks sets the bar high for quality, taste, service and presentation of meeting room food, and for customer service and professionalism in planning meetings. Totally recommend!

Beautiful hotel in Winnipeg. If the trip is for the Museum of Human Rights you can not beat the location. (Across the street). If not I would try to go in Spring, Summer or Fall. Friendly service Nd staff. Clean spacious rooms. Highly recommended

Very nice hotel, great spacy rooms, I love the fact that there is a bathtub and the water can be made really hot. Also, setting your temperature of the air is also a plus. Very very comfortable bed!!! I wish there was more than one soap available (hey I need one to have at the sink, and other one at the bathtub), also the shampoo was a bit strange - no foam at all! I wish he toiletries were given in a bit more generous way. I do love the smell of the soap! I do not love the putting of chips and chocolate on display in the room, like literally on the table, but charging for them. I mean it was clear and straightforward that they were to be purchased and not the gratuity, but I'd prefer if goods to be purchased are not ON the table, rather in the fridge or cupboard or drawer or something. I still can't quite understand if the coffee I had from the coffee maker in the room was included in the price or not. I think it should be. I thought that taking 100$ of deposit per night just in case (on the top of the price of the room) is an exaggeration, and this is also something I did not like. Also, why is there no general available breakfast for all the guests? This makes life so easier...I know you can get breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, and it's nice, but it's rather time consuming. Anyway, in general, very pleasant stay, very comfortable rooms.

Had a great stay at the Inn at the Forks. Staff were all helpful and patient from time of reservation to check out. We booked a pet friendly room with two queen beds, and it was clean, comfortable, and in great shape. I slept really well. The Inn is located in a very good scenic location in the city. The room rate seems affordable for where we were and what we got. Parking did cost $20. We felt this was ok considering the location at the Forks. No issues with finding a parking spot even though the area was busy around dinnertime. The Forks Market, Children's Museum, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the park and rivers are all within a few minutes walk. Kept us busy during our stay!

We have done a 6 week tour of Canada visiting every major City and tourist spot with lots and lots of Hotels of varying categories 3 and 4 stars. This I will say has been the nicest. Great spot, situated around the old railway sidings and warehouses, now shops and food. Right on the river and a wonderful themed park and walks. Fabulous lit up at night.
The hotel is just clean and fresh, it was a good nights stay before moving on to our bear tour.
