We were in for a late Jets game so this was super convenient. The staff both at front desk and in restaurant on 12 are very nice. Very short visit but it was very good

Would absolutely stay here again. The staff were so incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond! Really really enjoyed our stay here!

We selected the Radisson for its convenient location to Canada Life Centre. Portage Street was kind of dirty, sadly many homeless sitting around asking for money. Parking structure was very tight. Breakfast/parking package was offered at $35 a night. Buffet breakfast was all right but did not include coffee or juice - that was extra which seemed kind of cheap. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very nice. The Winnipeg downtown vibe just wasn't what we expected...kind of tired and run down. Lots of empty storefronts.

When my guest and I checked in to our room we found it to be nasty. There were crumbs of food and stains on the bed sheets and someone had used the toilet and did not flush after they were done. There was dust on everything as well as the air conditioning filter was disgustingly filthy.

Hotel is great , right beside Jets rink. Parking tough for trucks to get in the upper parking lot. There are other options. No noise. Very helpful.

The location in the city center is OK, the facilities are a bit old

The first thing you notice when you arrive at the Winnipeg Radisson is the smell. The lobby is centered by a decaying zoo of fungi in a weird rectangle patch of carpet that is trying very hard to become a compost bin, despite probably being made of acrylic or nylon and thus not very biodegradable. It's like an old basement in a humid city, and a prequel to an asthma attack if you are prone to those sorts of things.

In the elevator, you'll notice it takes a few swipe attempts for the card to allow you to go to your floor. Your card key will at some point stop working and get locked out of your room, as I did. Four times. Due to magnets. How do they work? Apparently this way: If a card key is too close to magnets, or in this case, in your pocket with any modern smartphone (they contain magnets if they can wirelessly recharge), it will cease to function. The staff was friendly enough when replacing it. But this dance repeated itself far too frequently.

At one point, it rained in Winnipeg and I noticed an area around the window was wet. Along with it, black mold. It didn't make the room as smelly as the lobby, surprisingly, but the room's air had to compete with the smell of cigarettes from the neighboring room. I'm not familiar with Manitoba law, but my guess is someone is clearly asleep at the wheel when it comes to health and safety inspections. This place is really more Rattysson than Radisson. Never coming back.

The only reason I wouldn't stay here again is not having the option to close the thicker curtains. So if you want to sleep in without the sun shining in I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Otherwise the rooms were very modern and view was very nice.
