The only reason I wouldn't stay here again is not having the option to close the thicker curtains. So if you want to sleep in without the sun shining in I wouldn't recommend staying here. Otherwise the rooms were very modern and view was very nice.

You can see some areas are dated but you can tell they are trying to update things inside. Room was nice. Bed was comfy though I wish it had a fitted sheet not just a flat sheet on to lay on. You don't want a big pickup or suburban in that parking garage. It is tight. We did have some issues getting out of the garage as the door wouldn't open. Customer service was great as usual. The room was a good size. And the veiw was terrific. Would give a 5 star but the toilet had hairs on the seat, and when lifted the toilet it was not cleaned. The comforter was stained. For $200 for 2 people for one night I would just expect higher level of cleanliness

Great location if you are going to the arena! The entrance is not ideal if you then have to go into the parking garage, as it is one way streets. Just a bit inconvenient. Would make much more sense to allow guests to temporarily park on Portage and have those doors accessible. Our room was quite nice. Price was amazing actually, especially for being next to stadium. Stayed here recently with my family for 6 nights while visiting relatives in Winnipeg. Location: great location, on the outskirts of Wpg, quiet for traffic, no construction in that area (unlike most major streets in Wpg). I stayed three nights in a pet-friendly room with my dog. I was pleased with how sparkling clean the entire facility was. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Did not stay at the hotel, just attended for business. No business centre; printing is highly inconvenient. When we requested enough chairs the need was not met. The washrooms are cleaned often but do not smell clean. The 24 hour coffee/tea station is delightful.

Nice hotel with exceptional customer service. Stayed 1 night. I had a meeting scheduled but forgot to reserve a boardroom. This hotel does not have meeting rooms so I was stuck. We had a very pleasant stay at the Sandman Hotel. The location is very near to the airport which is convenient for a 1-night stay when arriving late to Winnipeg. The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. Good wifi connection and very nice hotel personnel.

Was booked here for work and it was my first time staying at this hotel. I was pleased with the very comfortable bed and with the quietness of the room. I didn’t hear doors or people in halls. While in the workshop at the banquet room the service was awesome and the food was great. It’s so good there I have booked my group of 15 people for our upcoming workshops there for four nights👍🏼

This is a very clean and modern hotel. The Chophouse steak house is an exceptionally great dining experience and it is nice to also have Denny's attached for breakfast. I wish the room and especially bathroom were larger as my son and I were pretty cramped. The employees are very professional, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed every moment of our stay at Hampton Inn. Very professional and friendly staff. Among all the good things: airport transfer, laundry room, pool, gym, nice and spacious rooms with TV, mini fridge, microwave oven and a coffee machine. I’m surprised that the glass walled bathroom isn’t mentioned in every single review! The mesh blinds don’t add that much privacy, hope you are very comfortable with your partner. The hallway noise is very easy to hear, the doors are not thick enough. You can easily hear conversations and other people coming/going. The TVs could use an upgrade. This week my travels have brought me to Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Rooms are good size, friendly staff, and great location. The only thing I would ask to improve on is their pillows. Beds were good but the pillows are flat. Doesn't matter if I selected with soft or firm pillows. Other than that, everything else was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here with my gf as we were visiting family. It has a nice pool, hot tub and a decent workout gym. Definitely recommend as they do have continental breakfast. Their service includes cleaning but you'll need to request cleaning 24hrs before if you wish for their service otherwise you'll just have to wait.

Room air was never fresh. The hvac never gave us outside air, and was very loud. The ceiling fan was wobbly and we could not use it. There was no window that opened. We had to buy a standing fan which helped a bit. Breakfast was 8 out of 10, good variety. Bed was good, kitchen was 10 out of 10 as was cleanliness. Staff super, location good. Stayed at the Inn at the Forks on a recent visit and will definitely stay there again. Modern hotel with all amenities and very comfortable room. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great location to downtown and my meeting locations. Ample parking available. I recommend you give it a try when in Winnipeg.

For years we've held an annual meeting with our cross Canadian managers at Inn at the Forks. The out of town managers love staying at the hotel. The meeting atmosphere, food and service are always spot on. Inn at the Forks sets the bar high for quality, taste, service and presentation of meeting room food, and for customer service and professionalism in planning meetings. Totally recommend!

Location was a bit far from what we had going on but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not the greatest as the only hot thing was the waffles. The hot tub, sauna and pool were great and relaxing. The attached bar/slot machines were fun.

We loved the location's easy access to major arteries and that it was right next to a grocery store with a full pharmacy. It was a well appointed room with large mini-fridge, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer and comfortable, clean beds with lots of pillows. When it got hot, the air conditioning was not overbearing with mild fan and nice, cooling air.

The view of the pool is pretty relaxing however the smell of the chlorine is pretty strong and gave me stomach ache by just how strong it smells. This hotel isn't high end but it's clean, friendly and comfortable. I usually get the suite with the jacuzzi and have always been satisfied. It's not much more than a regular suite. Really enjoyed having a few beverages in the Viscount Gort Bar with a few friends on a Friday evening. The food was great, bartenders fantastic, and reasonably priced drinks and menu.

I came for the Sunday brunch. The price is actually pretty good for a buffet. The food is mediocre but our server was spectacular so it made up for it. If they screw something up they do discount or make up for it. So at least that counts. The biggest complaints would be that the hashbrowns are terrible. Soggy and taste like sand. And some of the fruit tastes like onions because they cut it on boards...

We really enjoyed our Christmas gathering with friends in the meeting room. Bringing our own appetizers and ordering pizza later on... Then up to our rooms.. no need to arrange designated drivers if we had a nightcap! Home the next day after a convenient continental breakfast! Stayed here for a work trip. The desk staff at night and morning were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are fairly modern and well taken care of. Would be nice to have pillow options for allergies.

It was nice. There could be better seating in the room to accommodate shorter people. The bed was very comfortable. We had an accessible room it was roomy enough for the walker. The pet accessories were a nice touch. They got their own blanket and towels.

The pool is small, so when there are lots of people in the pool you really notice it. The tiles around the pool are also super slippery. Noticed more than a few kids wiping out and getting hurt. Got in my room room was cold had to turn on the heater. The heater was loud, very loud to the point it impeded my ability to fall asleep quickly. The hotel had the best breakfast buffet hands on. Didn't eat a lot because I didn't had time however. The only major con you have to know is that PARKING IS NOT FREE it cost around 15 $ it's more than 10% the price of the room I had. Would rate 3.5

I used the fitness room twice and it was very clean. Free airport shuttle was a plus but do look at the hours of operation.

This was an ok place. Served it purpose. Was kind of sketchy. Loud crazy fighting out in the parking lot most of the night. After driving 13 hours and getting there close to 12AM I just wanted to sleep. I got a non smoking room the reeked of old stale cigarettes. Bathtub was so small like 3×4 I couldn't shower comfortably because the shower head was also short and I'm 5'3. Not very clean. Good price...

Good place stay for sometime if you are planning to settle down in Winnipeg. Heard so many horror stories about capri motel before arriving. But later realized they were exaggerated stories. It needs updating, but it's warm, secure and the staff are friendly. The price is the best we found in city, but it's certainly not upscale. We came for December and it was pretty quiet. I'd come back if I need an inexpensive place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel because of an early morning appointment. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was quaint and clean. The only problem I had, was not the fault of the hotel, but a child was screaming in the hallway. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Very reasonable price as well, only $116 Canadian.

I didn't realize I had booked a two-star hotel. The location felt a little sketchy.. After a 10-hour drive, I decided I might as well check out the room. It had some plumbing issues, but the room was spotless and clean. Towels and sheets were low-end but quite satisfactory. Great room for the price.

Went to the Bar. Very impressed that the cooking staff are still wearing masks & the chicken wings were big and good. Didn’t care for the onion rings though. There is no table service however the wait at the bar was not long. They had a couple of singers from 5-9 singing some older classics for the 50 plus crowd.

Cozy, pub atmosphere in St. Norbert. We came here for a celebration and had a rocking good time. The live band Doctor Rocktopus were fantastic. I lost to my wife at shuffleboard but that’s on me :-)

I stayed there for 4 nights from Oct 16 to the 20 and enjoyed my stay there better than at a hotel. I felt completely safe and slept very well. It is a quiet area and a nice cozy house. The only downside I could find is the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathroom was on main floor. It is affordable and you get free WIFI. Next I visit Winnipeg it is my go to place to stay and will book well in advance...

Decent location and you get a room to yourself! That may not mean much to you but when you're staying in predominately hostels it is a very welcome change.
