I stayed for one night. Location is great, right in the center. It’s in the same building as a restaurant, and you go to the restaurant to check in. The man who greeted me was very nice, gave me the keys, WiFi, and BaselCity card for transit. Check out is quite early at 10 AM, wish they would move it to 11 AM at least (since I had nowhere to store bags until my next check in location). Other reviews...

Great location and excellent value for the budget conscious traveller. Probably best in the quiet season as 9 guests are expected to share one bathroom. Staff leave at night so guests are alone until they return around 8 in the morning.

very clean hostel catering more for digital nomads and business travellers. facilities are good, but the key code system for the door was frustrating. common area is huge so people tended to spread out so it was hard to socialise in. Organised social events didnt have much interest and didnt seem to occur.

Comfortable, close to train station, not very social, sockets bedside bed DO NOT WORK. Clean linen, felt safe as a female. We booked for 3 people and although our rooms did not fill up throughout our stay we were still split up which was upsetting. Not bad

Easy check-in (through the Goki app), no fuss. The instructions were easy to follow. The bed was confortable, the place was very clean. I did not try the breakfast. This was my 2nd stay this year. And I will definitely come back again.

9/10 :) -1 for the broken AC……….. We had to sleep with 25 degrees while it was 32° outside…………. Was too hot………………………………..

Perfect hidden gem! Small hotel, friendly staff, fresh breakfast, clean rooms, across from a grocery store (Lidl), close enough to Basel without paying Swiss prices.

Good value great location visit Switzerland for day and coming back instead of paying outrageous Swiss hotel rates

Wonderful room overlooking the Rhine in Basel. Excellent breakfast especially the bread and jam. Very central location for shopping and wondering around old town. Right across the river from the city hall and marketplace.

Self check-in The location is good, in the center of the old city, next to the river. You can walk around the old town! The disadvantage is that there are many people in the bar at night and it is noisy.

River view hotel, lively and convenient

The location is excellent, close to Basel's landmark Middle Bridge. Choose a room with a view of the Rhine River and open the window to watch the passing vehicles and pedestrians on the bridge. There is also a gingerbread store next to the hotel, which is super convenient for buying souvenirs.

Staff was helpful and friendly but did not speak English well. Noise on the side with the postal station was a bit much in the early mornings. Overall though, convenient location for the three regions area.

Clean rooms and bathrooms. Price was ok. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. All is a bit old and weared off thats why 4 stars. Good bed and breakfast.

Quiet place and nice rooms for the price. Big shower. Badroom was very clean, but there was some hair in my bed. Unfortunately no air-conditioning and it was warm during the night but nothing bad. I would recommend to take the rooms that are not on the last floor if the day was very hot.

Clean and neat. Close to the city center. If the were no road works, there should be a tram stop. But Basel is always under construction. Breakfast is full of options. Room was small but ok for the Swiss price range. Underground parking was very convenient since there are no other options around. Aircon was good enough.

Good, the AC would stay at the same temperature it does not matter how hard you try to change, which made our room hot. It's in front of a tram station and convinient.

Hotel near the station and close to airport after a short drive. The room is very basic and small. There is a lack of basic amenities such as a kettle. I had to pay £20 deposit to use a kettle but it was very dirty

Our first time staying in B&B hotel and it was pretty good.room are small and basic but super clean, customer services is excellent and check out is super easy!

Very clean and comfy hotel room for me and 2 friends. Check in and check out was very quick and the lobby is nice to chill. Location is far but very close to tram stop.

An absolutely great hotel! Parking around downtown is awful but the hotel was great. If driving to town, leave the car somewhere far from downtown and you'll be fine.

Nice stay! Spacious room. Comfortable beds and easy check in. Rooms were ready (3) when we arrived in the morning. We did not purchase the breakfast package. Centrally located so easy to get around. As in most European hotels, there is no refrigerator or a.c. but room was comfortable in September with window open.

Excellent location with fun décor and a very clean space. Convenient access to shopping, transit, and restaurants. The room was well stocked with quality linens, two pillows per person, and good towels. The only downside was the lack of a kettle and fridge. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay Great location next History Museum in old church of the barefooted monks , Barfusserstrassa and place. Also concert hall one building over. In middle of old town so wonderful walk anywhere. Breakfast was very good with farm fresh eggs just before hard boiled, European style. Room is smalll but functional. Bathroom very modern

Great location. Short walk to numerous restaurant options, transportation to train station steps away, Coop around the corner. Helpful front desk and bar open 24 hours (never used but it was there if needed). Passed on the breakfast due to price. Room was spacious.

Great location for a good price. The room was very spacious and cozy. Well-equipped with everything needed. We weren’t informed at check-in, but later discovered that coffee from the automatic machine is free throughout the stay. Overall, excellent option in Basel.

The location is great, near the tram station and the room is big and cozy. The staff is friendly as well.

Bed was very uncomfortable. It's a folding Murphy's bed. Never seen this in a hotel. It was not so clearly visible while making the booking that hotel parking will cost extra CHF25 per night. All together there was no great financial benefit in selecting this hotel. I will not like to use this again.

We checked in 2 rooms and paid with one invoice which may have caused the confusion that internet login did not work for one of the rooms. Facilities need more attention; hot water in the temperature changes a lot and often. The shower curtain was too narrow to cover the stall so splashed the floor wet when shower. The shower head slips every time shower head was in use. Location is great.

Arrived at 4:30 am and Zain the night receptionist was very helpful indeed. Great to have easy access parking. Hotel not well sign posted. Look for Best Western as in same building.Clean and comfortable room. Relaxed and ready for onward journey.

Location and parking are convoluted and difficult to navigate with baggage. It is located on the 6th floor of a busy shopping complex, with no passenger/ baggage drop off at street level and no access from parking level. The room was large and well appointed, but the open shower floor was slippery when wet. After several days of great rooms at a lower price ( while touring in Germany) we were underwhelmed

The hotel is well located, the staff is very friendly. But for me there are big downsides to the rooms. Broken blinds, broken curtains, dirt under the bedside tables, towel dryers that don't work, and above all what bothers me the most is that with 9 degrees at night, there is no heating... it's really cold in the rooms, the windows are full of condensation…. In short, it's not great. I don't know...

Good concept with self check-in and check-out. But when something happens there is no one to ask. The room was clean and nice, but extremely hot. There was a fan for one bed, but none for the other. We slept badly because of the heat. With AC the experience would have been much better. But

Very convenient, walking distance to city center and train station. Just 20 min from airport. The design and facilities are super cool! Comfortable and clean. Free coffe and tee at the entrance.

Very conveniently located, right next to the SBB train station. However, the trams and stairwell are noisy, so you can hear everything. I found this annoying. I also found the side street the hotel is located in unpleasant. At night, with the shady characters hanging around there, I felt uneasy arriving.

Love the convenience of the location. The floor plan was unexpected but great; charming. Loved having the two bathrooms (one full, one half). Wish it had air conditioning. It was warm and stuffy when we arrived.

Kind personnel. We could cancel one of the three rooms we booked, without penalties. Very nearby Beyeler and Vitra museum. Room is small size but perfect for short stay. Bed is confortable and breakfast is good.

Surprisingly excellent restaurant. The superior cuisine is based in local food and ingredients. The service is highly competent and friendly.

A real sweet spot this one. Nicely renovated historic guesthouse with a modern extension which hosts upscale restaurant and meeting rooms. Friendly and super helpful staff - family-run.

Friendly and welcoming staff, very nice bedrooms with nice touches of Vitra furniture, Eames lounge chair and ottoman in our room. Easy walking distance to the Vitra museum, well worth a visit. Would stay here again.

For sure the best food you can get in town. Very friendly and professional service. Take the " Krone Menü " . Make reservations way in advance.
