Good location and facilities. It’s really nice and valuable

The breakfast is really good! Also good options if you are lactose intolerant or can’t eat gluten. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are good. It would be nice to have more hooks or bars in the bathroom to hang towels and bathrobes.

Amazing hotel , so well positioned in location at the intersection for trams. Great food at the restaurant , amazing breakfast and such great reception at the concierge. They were ever so helpful , so professional and the rooms were brilliant . Thank you for the great service !

Had a great stay at the Movenpick hotel. It’s so convenient (only few mins walk from the train station). The staff are helpful and also willing to answer our enquries. I will definitely recommend it to friends and families who will travel to Basel!

Great hotel, super friendly staff, very nice rooms. May be the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet is amazing and is included with the room. I also found that they were able to convert dollars to francs at a good rate, so that was very convenient as well. Thanks for giving us such a great start to our vacation!

This is a brilliant hotel. The staff is outstanding in the service. I stayed here for 3 nights. The reception staff and the security staff are very kind and helpful. This property has nice luxurious rooms with very good amenities that a traveller would need, including a bathrobe a comfortable bed, choice of pillows etc. there is a 55 inch led screen tv in the room and the breakfast buffet is lavish...

Really old hotel with old facilities. The room was pretty clean, but I had to clean bath to use it. Free Wi-Fi was really slow, bed was small and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't so good, I had just a few vegan options there, seems like everything else had pork. The thing I liked the most was sauna. Didn't like the location as well. Overall, I wouldn't stay here next time.

This is my number 1 choice for hotels when staying in Basel. Rooms are clean and a good size. Pluses include the onsite restaurant and bar and the fitness center. This hotel is within walking distance of much of historic Basel, and close to the trains, which you can board free with the included Basel Card.

Massive place for events / seminars. I have been to an Hublot event in this facilities. Catering was extraordinary!

First stay at the Pullman Basel and would definitely stay there again should we visit Basel again. We travelled for the Basel Tattoo and the hotel is excellently positioned for this venue as well as nearby restaurants and shops.  Only a 20 minute walk to the old town as well.

Great hotel. Convenient location (tram stop literally out front) and walking distance to multiple local attractions. Very thoughtful and kind staff. Large, clean room. We upgraded to a room with a balcony on the 6th floor (picture from balcony included) and it was lovely. Gym also great. Breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend!

The hotel is perfectly located for Basel's attractions and museums, with a Co-op supermarket just downstairs. The hotel's facilities and service are excellent, with a wide variety of breakfast options. The rooms are relatively large for a European hotel, and public transportation is conveniently located nearby. The hotel also offers a city transportation card, which offers 50% off admission to attractions...

Good experience! The room is clean and sample. The staffs are very nice and helpful. I lost my jacket in the hotel room after I left to other city. The staff are willing to help and respond so fast. That’s a wonderful experience! Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice, no frills place to stay on a budget. The staff were nice and very helpful and there's a self-service check in if arriving out of hours. The area didn't feel the most safe, although we didn't have any safety issues.

We arrived at this hotel in Basel Switzerland and had no prior booking. The automatic sign in is so simple to use this idea is the future for hotels. You follow the instructions with reservation or without reservation. Only 114 Chf per night. A room with separate shower an bathroom refrigerator. The hotel is close to city centre. Aldi around the corner. Will recommend to anyone.

I have stayed here for two weeks, room service is very good...they have this check in system where we do via machine outside...if you are looking for budget hotel,then you can definitely opt for this one

Clean, cozy and - most importantly - within walking distance of the train station as well as a COOP supermarket and other facilities.

Clean and neat. Close to the city center. If the were no road works, there should be a tram stop. But Basel is always under construction. Breakfast is full of options. Room was small but ok for the Swiss price range. Underground parking was very convenient since there are no other options around. Aircon was good enough.

Good, the AC would stay at the same temperature it does not matter how hard you try to change, which made our room hot. It's in front of a tram station and convinient.

Hotel near the station and close to airport after a short drive. The room is very basic and small. There is a lack of basic amenities such as a kettle. I had to pay £20 deposit to use a kettle but it was very dirty

Wonderful room overlooking the Rhine in Basel. Excellent breakfast especially the bread and jam. Very central location for shopping and wondering around old town. Right across the river from the city hall and marketplace.

Self check-in The location is good, in the center of the old city, next to the river. You can walk around the old town! The disadvantage is that there are many people in the bar at night and it is noisy.

River view hotel, lively and convenient

The location is excellent, close to Basel's landmark Middle Bridge. Choose a room with a view of the Rhine River and open the window to watch the passing vehicles and pedestrians on the bridge. There is also a gingerbread store next to the hotel, which is super convenient for buying souvenirs.

We have stayed here a few times and only just realised that I have never left a review. Always a friendly and efficient check-in/out. This stay we were arriving after reception closed, however they very generously offered to come and open up for us when we arrived, all it took was a phone call once we were a few minutes away. Lovely comfortable beds, good powerful shower and everything is nice and...

Perfect for a quick stop. Free Parking, WiFi (although bit slow). And breakfast for Just 5euro (buffet). Room had TV, fan, hairdryer and a small table where you can sit and work. You can't move the two single beds to make a double bed so make sure you specifically say what bed you want when you book. :) Even if you book for multiple days, you only get tiny shampoo packet and no toothpaste. No problem...

Clean and pleasant service, spacious room and the best is the shower

Rooms are okay and clean, I was unable to regulate the shower temp because of cheap mixer! Restaurant is great and good service, food is delicious and a lot. Breakfast was okay, sausage was cooled and meatballs is not meatballs!

Brilliant for the price to be on the doorstep of Basel, tram for 5 people cost the same as the rooms did, makes you think?

We enjoyed our stay with two small kids. Hotel has connected rooms which was great. All our small problems were solved by the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is nice. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable.

Clean, dog friendly, and excellent location by the Rhein. Maintenance is poor. The hotel is on floor 5 and 6 with three lifts. One is permanently out of order, another failed, and was told that it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. With so many rooms, one small lift is inadequate.

Wow so surprised by the hotel. It was just for one night during our road trip but I actually want to stay longer 🫣 very spacious large room (3 people), amazing view, great service, clean.

We stayed only one night but it felt as an eternity. The staff were really kind and accommodating. The first room that we were assigned was really nice, big, smelled really good and clean but while I was in the shower the water stopped working because of a malfunction and I couldn’t even wash away the soap. We had to change to another room at night. This second room was ok but it smelled really bad...

Clean no frills hotel. Nice clean room with good size bathroom and shower. In room tea and coffee making facilities. No evening meal in hotel but I'd does have a bar. Breakfast is good and best cuppicino I have ever had from a machine. You are given a free pass to use the local transport which is excellent (this might happen in all hotels).

Excellent service and attention to our needs. We arrived with one extra person than they were expecting as my booking for 5 didn't match theirs for 4. No issues though, an extra bed was put in our apartment shortly after we checked in. Apartment was well equipped and any extra supplies of coffee or tea we quickly delivered to us. The hotel is located in a really good location right in the centre of Basel, The rooms where very modern and stylish. I slept really well in a very clean bed. The hotel also gives you free public transport tickets and free WiFi is available everywhere in the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay there again.

Easy digital check-in and check-out. Perfect location very close to Basel SBB. The capsule was larger than other capsule I have tried. It's also relatively clean. However, there was not enough airflow inside the locked capsule and it could get hot and stuffy fast. They also sent a lot of emails from the time of booking until check out, but it perfectly explained what to expect from the accomodation...

Nice capsule hotel with super polite and friendly staff. My only complaint is that it was hot and humid in a capsule itself, you can't sleep with door closed. But other than that everything was perfect!

Close to the railway station and some restaurants and bio/veggie lunch places. They have their own co-working space. In short you can consider it luxury hipster dorms with private sleeping. Checkin and the rooms are all automatic. 247. Easy. The capsules are large enough and cosy. The products in the shower are good, they aren't supermarket brands but decent. I stayed at a Hyve Capsule, and had mixed experience. The positives: great location, close to the train station but in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. You can access the airport in 30mn. Checkin/out is all automated and working super well. Breakfast is great, and staff super friendly. Rooms, toilets, showers are clean. The can-do better: the capsule concept didn’t work for me. Capsule size was ok...

I give my opinion for the capsule rooms. More than expected, super comfy, big space and no claustrophobic. All the building, including the bathrooms, toilets and rooms are super super clean. The check in is very easy. Modern place, with a lot of activities, kitchen available, laundry... 100% good. 2 minutes walking from the station, good restaurants around. I can't say nothinn wrong because it's excellent...

Super nice hostel! Awesome location. 5 min walk from main train station. They had a well equipped and spacious kitchen. I had a studio apartment with only 35 per night. Definitely better than usual cheap hotel. The people in the reception was nice and helpful. Clean room, clean toilet. Can not ask more!

Clean and simple city hotel. Nearby to tram, and have basement parking lots. Worth staying for a night to transit from Zurich Airport to Montreux to Zermatt.

A fab service at this hotel ; everyone was so kind and helpful - genuinely. A sturdy bath and great period features which added a quaint touch to the hotel. Breakfast was not a buffet but you choose from the menu and are served which made me feel special and cared for . Thank you everyone at the hotel for making it an enjoyable and pleasant stay .

Nice hotel when you are travelling for your vacation. Rooms are fine but a bit outdated. Breakfast was excellent with lots of glutenfree options. The service was very good. The only real downside was that two out of three elevators weren't working. Pricing was also very good.

Near the high way with quite outdated rooms, though clean and silent and beds are excellent. Some rooms lack airconditioning. One elevator was working, out of 3. Breakfast is huge but you need to pay extra for your second cup of coffee. Good for a one night stopover.

Near the border of Switzerland. Very nice hotel to make a Pitt stop. Breakfast is very good. The restaurant serves Mexican food besides the well known Wiener Schnitzel.

Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Ideal if you're looking for a comfy bed and filling breakfast (with many choices) when on the road. Close to the highway, big parking lot and all in all, great value for money. The takeaway coffee in the lounge is a nice touch

We were just passing through. It's a clean hotel with friendly staff. It was a hot day, so they took a window to our room. You don't have to pay for that. Everything else in the hotel was a bit pricey. But we had a great night!

I had a wonderful experience at the ibis styles hotel in Basel.The rooms were clean, very comfortable. Every staff member I encountered, from the check-in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Especially Mr Axel who was very helpful at the check-in counter. Claustrofobic hot room. The windows do not open and the air refreshing system only blows very hot air. So even in fall, oktober 2021, we had a very hot night and trouble sleeping. The breakfast, service and style were nice though. And the location was good for a city trip.

For the price and location, this probably one of the better hotels for business travelers in the city. Modern, spotlessly clean, efficient, very helpful staff, comfortable with lovely coffee whenever you want. Breakfast is included, and decent. Not the best, but everything was good quality... Stayed here over Christmas after my original plans were wrecked by Covid. Very nice, spatious rooms, including a coffee maker. Breakfast was really great and had a larger variety of cooked items than usual, including potatoes, grilled vegetables and even chicken nuggets. The hotel was quiet, although it's quite popular with young families. A nice touch is the Basel Card, which gives unlimited travel...

A modern, clean and convinient hitel close to tram stops. Excellent breakfast. Only minus the glass separation of the bathroom with the bed.

We had a restful time here with our children. Breakfast was ready and great at 6 am.

Limited parking but, comfortable rooms (though in need of maintenance) sturdy mattresses and feathered pillows. Working air-conditioning and quite silent. Breakfast spread is vast, with various cold cuts, yogurt and cereal, fresh breads, toast, scrambled eggs, coffee, sausages bacon, vegetables etc.

Perfect like all the Novotels we stayed in.

Returned here with pleasure. The staff is still charming and professional, rooms with character and elegant, attention to the details still there in this changing world. The breakfast exquisite and chic as well, the terrace and the bar closet to perfect. Watching a place keeping its quality and charm is always great.

We loved and admired everything about this hotel. The staff was exemplary, the room lovely, and the food delicious. The destination restaurant in the hotel, the Michelin 3 star Cheval Blanc, is, truly, a destination restaurant…imaginative, creative, delicious, and the service was simply superb. But the hotel’s other restaurant, the Brasserie was also superb …for breakfast as well as dinner…just not...

Fantastic hotel in great location. Epitome of the Swiss hotel. Beautiful views and walking distance to most things. Morning walks along the river are a great way to start the day. The food in the hotel is exceptional. The bar is a great place to meet or unwind at the end of the day.

Everything was perfectly set up, from check in, to room amenities, to my treatment at the spa, my lunch at the brasserie, and dinner at the Cheval Blanc. I do not regret having crossed the doors of this hotel 6 years ago, the service, the quality, the traditions, have remained the same. Thank you to the entire team of Les trois rois.

Old world hotel in a wonderful location. Class all the way, wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Service from all the staff was exceptional, could not fault in any way. Plentiful breakfast options available to suit every taste, freshly prepared.
