Great restaurant on the 2nd level you have to try the burger. Even better spa/sauna/relaxing lounge! Room was fantastic and clean, comfy bed and good amenities. Front desk was extremely helpful in gathering and subsequently emailing information pertain to Christine markets or covid swiss vaccination certs etc. Highly recommended and will stay here again if passing by Basels!

Hotel is in its opening weeks. Rooms are brand new, well designed and very much welcoming the guests, higher floors with a great view over the city. This is a brilliant hotel. The staff is outstanding in the service. I stayed here for 3 nights. The reception staff and the security staff are very kind and helpful. Really old hotel with old facilities. The room was pretty clean, but I had to clean bath to use it. Free Wi-Fi was really slow, bed was small and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't so good, I had just a few vegan options there, seems like everything else had pork. The thing I liked the most was sauna. Didn't like the location as well. Overall, I wouldn't stay here next time.

This is my number 1 choice for hotels when staying in Basel. Rooms are clean and a good size. Pluses include the onsite restaurant and bar and the fitness center. This hotel is within walking distance of much of historic Basel, and close to the trains, which you can board free with the included Basel Card.

We didn't stay here, but came here to have the culinary experience of a life time. And we were not disappointed. Got this resort for a terrific rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I like this resort and I'm extremely grateful I stayed at my favorite place much cheaper than what I usually spend. Went there for brunch. The entire staff from the minute we entered the hotel made us feel like their were there just for us.

I was very pleased with the room, service, customer service, and location. The only drawback was the construction which bothered me. I should have chosen a different hotel if I knew this hotel had construction on site. I was lucky I had a room far from the workers, but some mornings the noise was loud and I had to leave the hotel. I was on vacation and I wanted a quiet room.

Arrived late with a group after a long journey, reception had sorted rooms out and everything was very fast and extremely helpful. Just two minutes from the station. Leaving early and hotel are providing an early breakfast just for us. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

A very well positioned hotel, for those who arrive by train. It is directly opposite the station entrance and across the square. The hotel is a delightful 19th century building, with sympathetic restoration of the interior. Bedrooms are spacious and the breakfast is superb. It’s a bit confusing but entrance is through Hotel Euler (who bought Metropol and City Inn). The hotel is well located, allowing easy access on foot to the city center. It is also located near a train and metro station. The staff is very friendly and attentive, both at the reception and in the care in tidying the room. The room was always clean. The acoustic and thermal insulation is quite good. The breakfast on the top floor, allows a unique panoramic view of the city.

Great location near the highway and just at the border with Switzerland but still on the German side. Prices are much better than in Switzerland and they have 24/7 desk do no issue when we drive through to go to italy also if we arrive at night. Room is clean and the bed comfortable. Working in Basel so booked into a superior room on 9th floor. Very spacious with a table of 4 chairs so easy to work and have dinner. Fan included so no air conditioning unit but comfortable. Nice large windows so lots of breeze. Shower is high pressure so amazing to use and overall very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and lots of options to choose from. Will defo book again! Uber is difficult...

I want to edit my review because the hotel staff went completely out of their way to make my stay here better than it initially began Beds are queen size but comforters used are 2 small bed ones, one on the left one on the right and they meet in the middle. Claustrofobic hot room. The windows do not open and the air refreshing system only blows very hot air. So even in fall, oktober 2021, we had a very hot night and trouble sleeping. The breakfast, service and style were nice though. And the location was good for a city trip.

The room was very clean and the staff super friendly. But if you're a light sleeper like me I wouldn't recommend; you could easily hear the noise of the street and the rooms next to you. 5 minutes walk to Messe Basel and Basel congress center. Stayed for 1 week for business. 3 minutes to tram station. The service was great and friendly.

Very nice staff. Clean and near room in the lift. 2mins walk to the tram, 5mins walkable to the cafes, shops. 10mins to the mall and river. 10mins from train station by car. Very accessible to everything you need.

We didn't stay long but it was a nice hotel (we stayed in an apartment) and got such lovely service when we arrived. Good wifi. Expensive parking and they add city tax when you leave so be prepared for that. We loved that there was a washer in the apartment!

Went there for a conference and stayed in their appartments for 6 people. They are very spacious, clean and fully equipped. There's a washing machine, regular cleaning, dining table ect. Perfect for a group of people who knows each other as 4 out of the 6 beds are in the living room with only 1 separate double.

Everything was better than expected! The room were advertised as small, and they are but not cramped, very optimised and slick. Super clean. Simple yet tasty quality breakfast. I had booked a single room and I guess the hotel upgraded me to a larger room with larger bed. Loved the rainfall showerhead and little details like motion sensor nightlights for those midnight trips to the bathroom. I have used this hotel as parking space for the car as part of the park and fly project. All fine except the thing that the child seat which we asked well in advance for the small baby was a seat for the 12+ years kids. In rest fine parking, nice personal and very close to airport less than 5 minutes of driving.

Nice hotel with very good connections to the airport and to the city. The gym is a bit small but good and never crowded and the bar is always busy in the weekends. If you like going to the Casino there's also a very good option in the same building also hosting events.

I would give a 5 BUT I have two issues. One I believe breakfast ending at 10am is way too early. Secondly, the staff at the front desk are awful. No smile and do not make you feel welcome at all. Shuttle bus service offered between office, hotel and business / conference locations, but does get booked up quickly. Only a very short distance from the nearest bus stop, though, and Swiss public transport is excellent. Hotel provides complimentary public transport pass.
