Where to stay in Alpirsbach

Is very strange to find nice people on Germany and here they were very nice and friendly. Also the room was very nice my only recommendation is to include a fan since the balcony is shared and opening the door maybe is not an option

The Hotel was a perfect start location for our cycling trips. Good service and friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and nice Hotel rooms. The only thing we missed was a lock up room for our cycling bikes.

Stay the 3 rd of march 2020 . Good & nice place , great room with all confort, on the ground floor, it seems new ... Excellent welcome, nice dinner , menu in english , useful for the foreigner .. I recommend

Everything was excellent. The rooms are large and very clean, the views are beautiful, the food is amazing. Worth staying again here.

5 Star service nothing to much trouble cleanliness second to none, food excellent. Another bonus is the Konus card free trains buses and entrance to museums, chair lifts golf plus lots more all for nothing. Visiting Black Forest this is the place to go and stay.

The owner was so sweet and spoke fantastic English. The rooms were cozy and clean. The hotel was in a great location, near fun hangouts that you could walk to. Parking was close and easy. I highly recommend staying here if you're in Alpirsbach. GPS/Satnav users beware. Our TomTom tried to take us through a one way mountain pass in the wrong direction. Excellent hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean. Delicious breakfast and dinner. A hotel where you quickly feel at home and truly a carefree holiday to enjoy. We have made great use of the free konus card which we were free to travel with the public transport and also of the Black forest plus card free in museums etc. Frits and Reina Zielman

I have been 2 or 3 times at the Löwen-Post restaurant in the last few years. The food keeps getting better every time. From classical dishes like an Ochsenbäckle with Dunkelbier sauce (see picture attached to this review), to the Schweinshaxe, to innovative dishes like a Rhabarber Tiramisu with Holunder Parfait (also pictured in this review), it was, together with the nice beers from the Alpirsbacher...

We have stayed here multiple times now, over the last 8 years, and the hospitality and food has always been excellent.

We ate here in the beer garden on a sunny spring day. Dappled shade from the trees which will no doubt provide full cover in summer. All the food served looked great & when our daily specials arrived they were no exception. Generous portions and meals on the specials board were very affordable. Naturally the beer is great being next to a brewery! Only misses out on 5 stars because of the mid-town location...

We found the hotel a great place to stop for the night. The price was right, the staff friendly, the bedroom large, comfortable and very clean. The bed was excellent. No problem with parking and wifi was available. And breakfast and dinner were first rate. Thankyou for an enjoyable stay.

A decent 3 star hotel. My wife is of the opinion that they deserve a 5 star but I quite don't agree with her. On arrival, we were welcomed with coffee and some snacks. All in all, Good. Very nice and courteous staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. When you eat, there is something for every taste, freshly prepared and super tasty.

As a Biker on the black forest Panorama cycle path we were greeted friendly, the rooms are quite good and offer the usual harassment. It was nice that the bikes were housed in a closed Garage! The Breakfast was in order, only the scrambled eggs we have missed! It would lead to an opportunity, I would go again!

The staffs were super friendly. The hotel was great. German traditional hotel gull of woods, which was pretty amazing. It had a good Restaurant as well. Location was good and surrounded by nature.

We spent a pleasant Weekend of Christmas in this charming hotel very good food and a staff to match our expectations to recommend to spend a good stay.

We have been able to enjoy this weekend through groupon. No regrets ! A change of scenery, walks, discovery, relaxation area with sauna, good food in German... Good way to take a break ! It should also say that for a 3 star in quality of service and the cleanliness of our room was niquel. :)

Were there over the weekend with four other couples. We all liked it. Price performance fits very well. Menu slightly smaller due to Corona. Food tasty and sufficient.

Superb location, nice property although the rooms are a bit dated. Listening and responsive staff. Breakfast included and satisfactory. Dogs accepted without supplement. We will return !

Dated but well maintained hotel. Nice location, friendly staff. Not expensive. Spacious rooms with balcony and a view over a valley. Warm at night. Simple -for an extra charge- Wellness and restaurant with also Greek recipes. Be aware that many German banks refuse foreign debit and credit cards for debit card transactions. Fortunately the hotel accepted payment on account by bank transfer.
