The staffs were super friendly. The hotel was great. German traditional hotel gull of woods, which was pretty amazing. It had a good Restaurant as well. Location was good and surrounded by nature.

We spent a pleasant Weekend of Christmas in this charming hotel very good food and a staff to match our expectations to recommend to spend a good stay.

We have been able to enjoy this weekend through groupon. No regrets ! A change of scenery, walks, discovery, relaxation area with sauna, good food in German... Good way to take a break ! It should also say that for a 3 star in quality of service and the cleanliness of our room was niquel. :)

As a Biker on the black forest Panorama cycle path we were greeted friendly, the rooms are quite good and offer the usual harassment. It was nice that the bikes were housed in a closed Garage! The hotel is fantastically located into the woods, on a super quiet road. The triple room I've booked was nicely decorated, very clean, warm and tidy and there were 2 comfortable double beds. Off the beaten track, pleasant surroundings. Basic, clean lodgings, friendly. The hotel has a lovely garden but during our visit there was no possibility to have a drink or eat outside. Unfortunate the owners do not make more of this feature.

A really nice and elegant hotel in Lauterbad. It offers you everything you need there and everything is really clean and pretty. The wellness service is incredible, relax rooms, saunas, inside and outside pool, massage services, everything you want for a perfect holiday away from the city. Great hotel. The setting is lovely, right in the black forest. The staff is friendly and the speak English. Breakfast is outstanding even among othe German hotels I have stayed in. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that the WiFi is poor at best. It didnt work in my room at all and even In the lobby I could not maintain connection.

The hotel is wonderful well located I recommend for those who like nature and getting some time to relax and enjoy the landscapes. The owner is very lovely and helpful also the breakfast was correct and healthy. For the rooms nothing to say all is well with the best quality.

A great place to stay and to explore the Northern Black Forest. Rooms are large and confortable and the restaurant is superb, really above average. Dishes are well presented an innovative. The hotel is very quiet at night and has no rooms facing the street (almost no traffic at night). You can have lunch until 4p.m. Dogs are allowed (!?)

We did not stay at the hotel but it is a very nice one. We dined at the restaurant. Food and service were excellent. It was very elegant. I would return there again.

An excellent place ! Situated about 2.5 kilometre from Freudenstadt city centre, the hotel is calm, quiet and serene. The view from the hotel is extremely beautiful and the rooms are very big. The food is also great and the Staffs are courteous. I spent 3 days here and enjoyed my stay.

We celebrated our winter wedding at the mountain hut and at the bottom of the Hotel stayed in. It was perfect in every way! Lovely traditional German hotel in the suburbs of Freudenstadt. It had a bath with shower over, which was slippery and rather outdated nowadays. Good underground parking. The palm forest is situated on the outskirts of joy city is on foot quickly in the city center. The historical 4*Hotel in the art Nouveau style is very well maintained, the staff very friendly and helpful. Although located outside of the town, it is a pretty walkable distance to the town centre (Less than 20 mins depending on how fast you walk) but do note that it's not flat. Hotel Teuchelwald is a wonderful place to stay. It is built on a Hill with greeny Parks and flowers. It has a hot swimming pool. An excellent Kirchen and bar with the best rooms. Perfect place to stay in Freudenstadt.

Nice Hotel on the outskirts of Freudenstadt with a reasonable price-performance ratio; cooperating with the health clinic High Freudenstadt. The Wellness area (swimming Pool, Sauna, steam room) and Fitness facilities can be used free of charge. Rich Breakfast buffet, an attractive menu, remarkable Service, and individual effort to the guest. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Staff very friendly. The room Size was found in order, only the bed I as too small. The balcony was three rooms are accessible without separation. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, it was awakened by reconstruction measures, at 7.30 am.

We spent 3 wonderful days, the hotel, the restaurant, the spa, the staff, the owners are all at your service. C' was 3 days in paradise. We can only advise this place and enjoy the well being which you invaded. We we will return.

Was driving through the Black Forest when I saw this lodge on the side of the road, just what I was looking for. It turned out to be the best decision I made the whole trip. Great atmosphere, even better food. A 5-star resort tucked away in the hills, a true diamond in the rough.

Tranquility in the midst of the forest and next to a sizable natural pond with swans. Perfect for nature lover and a relaxing stay or to explore the surroundings. Restaurant is great, very nice service and very good food. I had a pleasant stay with my family and ended up extending our stay.

Best place for dinner in southwest Germany. The regional food is exceptionally good and tasty. I haven't been to a better place for this kind of typical regional and unpretentious food. I don't know about the Hotel but the views on the little lake and the setting seems quite idyllic and typical for the National Park of the Black Forest.

Nice place for a few nights. Varied continental breakfast. I personally found the bed too hard and the room was facing the main street so it was noisy. Room was very clean and smelt good. The shower screen door was broken but a very clean bathroom. Nice staff. Good central location

Stayed here during a bike trip in the Black Forest. It was a great experience, and a fantastic value. Right in the middle of Freudenstadt - what more could you ask for?

Can't beat the location. Room wasn't cleaned when we walked in our room. After one hour it was ok. Breakfast ok, Coffee quality left for much improvement.

This my favorite place to stay in Germany. The food is outstanding, restaurant closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but if you are there any other day, you must try it. Updated bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Top of the line linens. Staff is wonderful.

Well presented rooms, bike parking adjacent to the building and felt secure. Centered in the town of Freudenstadt Breakfast as usual was varied and tasty Didnt eat dinner in the restaurant but ventured into the town square where we had an exceptional meal.

Situated out of town this is a cheap and cheerful little german hotel. The staff were lovely. They spoke little english but you know what, You're in Germany, get over it and around it. Nice, clean and affordable hotel specially if you get an offer of 2 rooms together. However, WiFi was only available in the reception not inside rooms. It is nice if somebody wants to stay in the middle of the black forest away from noisy cities but it can also feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. However, the nearest town Freudenstadt is not too far.
