Unfortunately we didn't get a table for dinner on two evenings and had to look for a restaurant in town, although there were free tables when we left that were still free two hours later. Hotel area: Very good. Restaurant: Service (for hotel guests) very bad

The service was great. The breakfast area seemed to be a brewery. It was a great feeling. The roof was made of transparent glass.

Well worth a visit. Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places...

The breakfast is very rich and I like it. The room is well heated and very comfortable to stay in during winter. The room layout and bedding are also extremely comfortable. I will come again next time.

Breakfast buffet and food at the restaurant were both great! Staff very friendly. Our bed was not the most comfortable but fine for a couple of nights.there also wasn’t a lift to get to the 2nd floor. Still all in all a positive experience.

Hygiene: Good Environment: I have to give it five points, the cozy atmosphere of the town is very strong. There is a beer restaurant next to it, and the atmosphere is very good. Service: Because of the coziness of the town, the service staff are often not on duty, but it is not bad. Facilities: OK, with a balcony as a bonus.

Stayed in 2 different apartments on 2 different nights, both really nice and clean, great for families as decent sized rooms, great food, had a really pleasant stay. Would go back again.

Perfect breakfast and restaurant. Very comfortable bed. Really cozy atmosphere. Located near the Molsdorf palace and not far from Erfurt and two highways (A71 and A4). Pets are not allowed. WiFi signal is weak.

The hotel is located in an exhibition area in Erfurt, next to a large supermarket and a small Vietnamese restaurant. There is an S-Bahn station in front of the hotel. Parking spaces are available at the hotel for a fee. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but several of the service staff in the restaurant did not seem particularly friendly...

Location of the hotel is good. The rooms are big enough and clean. Equipment is out of date and has strong traces of. The Breakfast is rich and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It is very beautiful Christmas in the night days that we spent in the Hotel and in Erfurt. At the evening Dinner there were actually six dishes to choose from - there was something for everyone. The Breakfast buffet selection, coffee was in the thermos, and the vending machine rich offered available, even a daily newspaper was available. We will be back!

We booked like 10 double-bed rooms at the Hotel Ilmenauer Hof. So the reservation and cancellation of the room numbers were smooth as well as the check-in and check-out process. The rooms were all clean and kinda cozy, same as the bathrooms. What I didn't like was the keen of hearing of the dorms, as this could be kinda annoying. The breakfast was quite basic, but good as you just pay 6€ per breakfast...

The room was clean but it was bit cold. There was not so many options in breakfast. No vegetarian or halal food. Otherwise, it was very much up to the stanard.

Slept here on our way north. Clean room, but mattresses really not the best. Breakfast was over standard compared to what you can expect in this price class. We were positively surprised. Check in was smooth and a nice and helpful receptionist. Place is acceptable for a quick stop over!

the hotel is quite nice, with good connectivity to the Erfurt railway station (HBF), and a tram stop nearby. I actually walked to the hotel from railway station. the rooms are good and comfortable.

Sensational! We wanted to celebrate a bachelor party and were looking for affordable accommodation. The suite exceeded all of our expectations... Booking: 1a! Equipment: 1a! Equipment: 1a! Service: 1a! And the absolutely central location cannot be topped... Parking for 12 euros per night in the multi-storey car park at the train station, so that's no problem either. We will be back!!!

Very well equipped rooms. Big plus is the bathroom! Check-in went smoothly. The surrounding houses will certainly be renovated in the next few years. Otherwise the atmosphere would be a bit uncomfortable. One point of criticism, however, is the cleanliness. Areas have only been roughly dusted. The carpet doesn't look good anymore. Nevertheless, one could feel good.

The hotel is just great. The equipment is absolutely ingenious, well thought out and you just feel good. The roof terrace is fantastic - not least because of the professional staff, who always have an ear for the guest and leave nothing to be desired. I arrived at 10pm, and left again at 06:30 the next morning, so I did not interact or even see any staff. Everything worked as advertised with codes, the room was great and as expected for the price. There was even air-conditioning, not a normal thing in Germany, and it was hot out, so that was really appreciated. My one issue, no coffee. This is so German. I have stayed before in this hotel chain. With the price I paid, I did not expected more. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the train station, less than 5 minute walking, and that time I had a train at 5:30 in the morning. I did not meet any hotel staff, all check-in and check-out were done digitally. This is very advantageous for young people, but I would not recommend such service for...

We came as a family of 3 and stayed only 1 night. Therefore the location of the hotel was perfect. We walked all over town and had a great time. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the breakfast buffet in the morning. There was something for everybody flavor. When we go back, we’ll stay here again.

Extremely clean. Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Everything works well. Great water pressure. Very friendly and accomodating staff. They don’t supply tissues it seems, nor did I see a kettle, but that’s of no consequence. A small amount of water escaped under the shower door seal but also not a big deal. Short walk to train station, tram and to all the things you’d want to go to in the old town.

Staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is pretty clean and quiet. The road noise didn’t disturb. Air conditioner works very well and silent. The room and bathroom is compact but enough for sleep. There is a small table and two stools. The location is convenient for travelers by train and bus. The center of the city is walking distance. Mercure is as reliable as always. It is located in the center of the old town, very convenient to the Old Bridge, the Cathedral and the Town Hall. Parking is also convenient. The service at the front desk is particularly warm and professional, great.

While we were there the hotel was under construction. It was also extremely hot. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. We were damned if we did and damned if we didn't. Noise or die from the heat....we went with the heat.

Lacking air in the current heat and with windows that do not fully open, it was a bit warm. Otherwise, this was perfect.

Rooms and basic but very clean and have a free stocked mini bar. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars as the parking is terrible, very small and usually full so you have to use public parking.

Budget hotel but everything is clean. Bathroom looks like fresh renovated. Smoke free but in the room strange it smells like it was smoked here. It's suitable for busness trips or or like just a sleeping place for 1-2 nights. Free WiFi is avaliable but slow. It's possible to buy the quick one.

The rooms are lovingly designed and furnished, but unfortunately quite dark as it is an old house. With the cleanliness of the room, there is still room for improvement (dust on the window sill and poorly vacuumed) It got quite noisy in the morning from the cars on the main road. we stayed in the "Landhaus" part of the hotel and loved every minute of our stay here and regret a little bit that we did not stay longer. The hotel and the room was lovely decorated, it was warm, very cosy. We slept really really well. It was quiet despite the street close by. We anjoyed a lovely dinner and a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. After the competition, it was convenient to recover in bad weather. Special thanks to the employee at the reception, Muhammad. A friendly person, helped with any questions. In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

A great getaway stay for some quiet in the mountain forest. It was full of snow and fog when we stayed there but even then, we could see that it would be beautiful in summer. It's romantic in its rustic way. Lobby decor is very welcoming and feels like home. Room was clean (we had 2 beds + 1) and came with toiletries (no toothbrush) and clean sheets and towels for 3.
