Breakfast buffet and food at the restaurant were both great! Staff very friendly. Our bed was not the most comfortable but fine for a couple of nights.there also wasn’t a lift to get to the 2nd floor. Still all in all a positive experience.

The service was great. The breakfast area seemed to be a brewery. It was a great feeling. The roof was made of transparent glass.

The breakfast is very rich and I like it. The room is well heated and very comfortable to stay in during winter. The room layout and bedding are also extremely comfortable. I will come again next time.

Hygiene: Good Environment: I have to give it five points, the cozy atmosphere of the town is very strong. There is a beer restaurant next to it, and the atmosphere is very good. Service: Because of the coziness of the town, the service staff are often not on duty, but it is not bad. Facilities: OK, with a balcony as a bonus.

The hotel is actually very nice. Unfortunately, the rooms were not clean, there was dust everywhere, bed covers had holes in them, water was running out of the toilet in the bathroom. We had the comfort room; very cramped. The food was good and tasty, prices were OK. Breakfast was very good. The service was very nice.

Lovely building situated on a slope directly below the old church, view over fields and hills. Slightly elevated ground floor with cosy restaurant, breakfast (vegetarian as requested) was terrific, lots of variety. Attentive and accommodating owners, very friendly despite our unplanned late arrival.

The staffs are really up to the task, have a great menu and outstanding service to say the least. Having a place like this in Holzhausen is sure a blessing, Keep up the good work fellas. You'll get more of me.

Very nice facility where you can party comfortably. I was allowed to hold a school enrollment party there and only got to know nice, courteous staff. It will probably not be the last party there, again and again. The food was also very tasty and good 👍

We celebrated my parents' golden wedding anniversary there and what can I say ... Super great buffet, which left nothing to be desired. There was something for everyone and it was always refilled. We were allowed to decorate the room according to our own wishes and ideas. The staff just great. Price performance ratio is right. We will always be happy to come back.

The hotel is located in an exhibition area in Erfurt, next to a large supermarket and a small Vietnamese restaurant. There is an S-Bahn station in front of the hotel. Parking spaces are available at the hotel for a fee. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but several of the service staff in the restaurant did not seem particularly friendly...

It is very beautiful Christmas in the night days that we spent in the Hotel and in Erfurt. At the evening Dinner there were actually six dishes to choose from - there was something for everyone. The Breakfast buffet selection, coffee was in the thermos, and the vending machine rich offered available, even a daily newspaper was available. We will be back!

We were here for a couple days for the Christmas Markets. The hotel had large and clean rooms, and including in the room rate they gave us transportation cards to use unlimited on the trams, buses, etc., which came in very handy and easy to use. Hotel provided a pass for the tram into the downtown for our entire stay. This was great and made getting around very convenient. We booked like 10 double-bed rooms at the Hotel Ilmenauer Hof. So the reservation and cancellation of the room numbers were smooth as well as the check-in and check-out process. The rooms were all clean and kinda cozy, same as the bathrooms. What I didn't like was the keen of hearing of the dorms, as this could be kinda annoying. The breakfast was quite basic, but good as you just pay 6€ per breakfast...

The room was clean but it was bit cold. There was not so many options in breakfast. No vegetarian or halal food. Otherwise, it was very much up to the stanard.

Slept here on our way north. Clean room, but mattresses really not the best. Breakfast was over standard compared to what you can expect in this price class. We were positively surprised. Check in was smooth and a nice and helpful receptionist. Place is acceptable for a quick stop over!

Very nice little hotel not far from the church. Very clean and well-kept rooms. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is friendly and helpful. We used the hotel as a base for our two-day BUGA visit to Erfurt, about 35 minutes by car from the hotel.

The bed is a little narrower. I have the feeling that as a holidaymaker you are not in such good hands. Business people or fitters leave the house pretty quickly. Vacationers like to sleep a little longer and you have the feeling you should leave the house quickly and have breakfast early so that it can be cleared and cleaned. The hotel is about 1 km from the central station. We were allowed to check in just after 2pm but could leave our bags in the luggage room. Room of older standard and they had limited so you could only have the lowest level on the AC. We were given a room right off the stairs, the door slammed loudly all night, I don't understand why they don't install silent closing doors like they had on reception...

We stayed Mid-October, 2024. It was clean, close to the train/bus station, and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but fit our needs. Parking available behind the hotel. We would recommend this hotel.

A short trip to meet friends or family is highly recommended. The hotel is next to the Hbf. The room is neat and clean with sustainable Smart Control. It is super quiet even though it’s near the Hbf. Every payment in the hotel are with cards or app pay transactions. The bar at the lobby is 24 hours which is very nice for visitors to have some chats and beers.

Dog rooms are full of dog fur, of all kind of dogs. For me traveling with a not hairy dog it was really disgusting. Service tried to chance my room but every available room was dirty. Ilmenau 25 Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it.

The room was clean and bathroom recently renovated. The problem was that heating was turned off eventhough temperatures were low. Turning on the radiator in combination with carpet floors made the air unbearable for someone with lung problems.

Fantastic hotel, with exceptionally good food (I ate breakfast and dinner), friendly staff, generously sized rooms and convenient below-ground parking. A ironing room is available for use, and the staff were only too happy to help. The only thing missing from the bedroom was a kettle - a shame, as the restaurant stopped making hot drinks early in the evening. Will definitely stay here again!
