IntercityHotel Erfurt

4 stars??? How? I mean, how?? Rooms are small, bathroom were built from plastic, literally from plastic elements... I have no idea how this hotel could have 4 stars... Im giving 2 stars because people who work there are kind and helpful. Low rating from my end is because it should have 2 stars as a hotel not more.

Awful​ service​. In the best case as good as a 3star hotel. Although reserved long time ago, I got a room which smoking was allowed there. Awful everything smell as smoke, the reception lady told me that just open the window and the weather change!!! Could not sleep all entire night, even pillows smell full of smoke​. Windows also open to a bus terminal; from early in the morning it is so loud that ...

Once and never again! All of the hallways smelled strictly to cigarette smoke. Cobwebs incl. dead spider on the room wall. Dust on all surfaces. Hair in the bathroom and the bathroom door. Our room - more than in need of renovation. The trash can in the room was filthy and stank. Bed lamps are very dusty, not worked. Room furniture slightly damaged. Drinking glasses (on the Minibar) dirty. Stains on chairs and on the carpet. No towels available in the bathroom. The most unfriendly staff I've ever come to know. Unfortunately, it was not possible to get a different room because the Hotel, as well as all the others were fully booked in Erfurt completely. Luckily it was only one night. An absolute Dump, to recommend maybe, if you missed the evening/at night, his train, not get stuck and a night in a homeless shelter or on the train station Bank wants to avoid.

I don't want to sleep, but. The room has a ventilation system, the I sounds like driving on the highway. No way to turn it Off. The front Desk says it's a Yes all the way, the system turns off at 22:00 and we can offer you nothing more.

The Breakfast was very good, I add a star.

How do the hotel's 4 stars come from is a complete mystery to me. The room was very small, it smelled musty, and the walls and carpet the floor had already come in the years. In addition, the Windows were not insulated enough sound, so that it was the entrance to the room either through the Course or the street noise bothered. For such a bad room have been retrieved but yet sporty 75 Euro per night. If you are arriving by car, you will get ripped off with 12 Euro per day for underground Parking. A absolute insolence.
The Breakfast was OK, only the courtesy of the staff there left a little to be desired.
All in all, not worthy of this Hotel more than one star in the rating in the hotel category.
I will definitely stay in any of the Intercity Hotel.

Unfriendly, overworked reception (especially in the evening, at night), condescending treatment by the Director of the house. In General, the building as piece of the plant looks moderately renovated - rather bad. Cleaning staff overlooked like the Dirt and hair. Once and never again!
