The Best Western Plus Hotel Excelsior is a four-star hotel only a few steps away from the main station, the pedestrian area and the historical old town. Behind the art nouveau facade of the hotel you will find 92 individual rooms including superior rooms, studios and suites located on four floors. All rooms are equipped with bath or shower, WC, make up mirror, hair dryer, telephone, TV and radio. Enjoy a relaxing visit to our sauna. We feature two meeting rooms for up to 35 people. Both offer daylight, ventilation and black-out facilities.
Hotel opened in 1994, renovated in 2011.

Great location very close to train station. Nice, historic hotel. Staff very friendly and free breakfast was great. Would have been nice to have a mini-fridge where I could keep my Bier though:)
Check-in was fast, the room exceptional, and the breakfast, included in the price of our three-day stay m, was something else.
Overall, a good stay for the short business trip there.
The extremely slow elevator is an absolute disgrace! We waited over 10 minutes upon arrival!
