The one bed room is slightly above basic, very clean and nice. No safe in the room but this doesn't concern me now. You can (and should) eat at the restaurant, the schnitzel is really good (7

The balconies on the sides of the building gave us the possibility of enjoying the mountains even more and the cosy outdoor sitting space under big parasols was the perfect place for a German local beer in the warm afternoon

A really nice, calm and peaceful hotel. It is located somewhat remote from the town surrounded by forest and meadow. Great for hiking. The breakfast was good, but the choice for diner was very limited.

A true mountain retreat! We enjoyed an extremely god one night stay at this hotel. It is not a new hotel and this adds to the authenticity of the place. Dinner was very fine and breakfast the same

There was no noise apart from a very distant waterfall and the bells from the cows that moves about in the green fields below

Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting

Splendid selection of goodies in the room starting from shampoo (L'occitane), greeting you a bowl of fruit and finishing with slippers and robe for your afternoon/evening swimming in the pool or enjoying sauna that is included in the price

Love the location which is so closed to the water. the amenities and the room are great too. Love that it has a beautiful lawn and plenty of birds

This is a really nice hotel. The service was excellent. Great location. Beautiful gardens to relax in. We rented the hotel’s electric bikes and rode down the trails around the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

We got the last room on 16 July & it was a suite with a great balcony! The dinner at the restaurant was superb as was breakfast! Super friendly and would love to go back to explore more & enjoy the Spa. Amazing!

Really great! Totally warm and lovely place. Lot of attention and care from the hotel staff, got free room upgrade, was helped with transportation to and from train station. Great interior, great atmosphere.

The room is old, the breakfast is OK, quite rich. The weather was bad, so I didn't have time to go to the lake. I can only come back next time when the weather is good... The price-performance ratio is OK.

The interior of the public areas is very similar to Kitzhof, high level design furniture. Swimming pools outdoor and indoor. Easy access from Munich - Salzburg highway

Where do I begin? Staying at the Das Achental was an amazing experience! 1) The room was beautifully designed with a large bathroom, very comfortable bed and the sheer amount of flowers hanging from every balcony in the hotel was stunning

The hotel is a nice’ clean hotel in a beautiful area. More importantly, the food was exceptional and I can easily say that with the breakfast, lunch and dinner it is one of the best I have come across at a hotel

We were curious to see the Achental as one of Motel One Founder Dieter Müller's three luxury hotels. The others are the Kitzhof in Kitzbühel and the Chiemgauhof at Lake Chiemsee. Achental is the least expensive

Fantastic wedding location! We celebrated our wedding last week at the Alpenhof on Westerbuchberg and it was simply perfect! From start to finish everything went smoothly and far exceeded our expectations

We also stayed at the Alpenhof and the rooms were impeccable - very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We can highly recommend the Alpenhof on Westerbuchberg for weddings and other occasions

The entire planning, including the organization of the music system and the photo box, was also excellent. The Alpenhof team thought of everything and made the organization a lot easier for us

Great Bavarian Food at a new more contemporary locational Glaphof was a guarantee for outstanding Bavarian food in Reit. I was quite curious to see how things come together at the new location

Very clean rooms with comfy beds, modern wooden interior and amazing view on nearby landscape and mountains. Awesome German-style breakfast. The owners of the property are very polite, kind and helpful

Nearby area is full of wonderful hiking paths with wonderful picturesque views and huts where you can stay and enjoy the nature

Great place for a stop-over on your way to South-East Europe or as a multiple day stayover to visit the Chiemsee-area!

Simple, comfortable and newly furnished. Decorated with good taste and especially room 12 is great - it had a terrace too.

Nice big and clean apartments, with all the basic equipment you need. Free WiFi, an outside pool, a sauna and breakfast-rolls service to top it all off

We stayed there for a couple of nights. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean. they provide everything you need in your room. The furniture and looks of those rooms makes it comfortable to be in

One thing I didn't like about staying there, is that you have to clean out your own room before you leave, I. sweep and clean the floors, clean the dishes, and have everything organized

I was only in the restaurant, so this review is only about that. Food was good and prices were ok, but the worst about it was the service. Maybe was a bad day for some of them but they were slow and not very friendly

Walking down the street you can also see amazing tops of the mountains far away from here. The staff is very nice and amazingly helpful! Room is clean and mine has a terrace. You definitely need a car to get here

Rooms are renovated and the personal is very nice! It is a family owned hotel and they are making you feel at home. Food is another top here, is very tasty, very good quality and the price is the best ;)

Clean and quiet place. Breakfast is good but can be improved! I personally suggest to improve the way to speak with clients especially on the phone.

We had our name and room keys waiting for us on the staffless front desk. We did not arrive late, maybe 5pm. Rooms were very clean and comfortable

They don't change all the towels, they don't wash all the glasses, and the outside is full of cobwebs and dust because they haven't cleaned the outside for weeks

Gut Steinbach is a good choice if you want to relax, enjoy the region and great hospitality. The restaurant and the spa area are excellent, the rooms could need a modernization.

Tip: give guests seeking peace and quiet a quiet spot in the breakfast room – it makes a big difference! If you rent a garage parking space, you should be instructed in advance on how to open and close the garage door :-) Overall, a highly recommended hotel

It is a very quiet and relaxing Relais, with beautiful rooms and very well-designed and furnished chalets. The restaurant is excellent, the Maître is very knowledgeable, and the Chef is very talented

The SPA is truly fantastic, with a very experienced and professional manager and massage therapists. The only problem is the housekeepers, who work very little and very poorly

Been here twice and highly recommend the Züri Geschnetzeltes with a Glas of Riesling. The place is the perfect, leissurly blend between Wirtshaus and Fine Dining. The Austro-Bavarian style is seldomly presented so well

We had the most lovely food - I myself took the plate: 3 various fish from the lokal see, and normally not being so fond of desserts - I had to try a ginger-orange-thing. I shall never forget this meal

We had no reservations for table, but in this area, (south Germany - north Austria) you can easily get 2 seats at a bigger table, together with other people even if it's a high class restaurant

A small but very nice restaurant/hotel. The food is really good, but a little on the pricey side 16 - 22 euros pp for a main dish. But still I keep coming back to Bernards. Two thumbs up!

We stayed in the Seebacher Haus, which is right across the street from the main building. If I am ever lucky enough to come back to Oberaudorf, I will for sure be staying here again!!

Lovely rustic hotel on the outskirts of Rosenhiem. The room is split in two levels with a lovely outside terrist and accomdates all your needs. Staff and restaurant are all delightful and very helpful.

This was our third stay this year. It is a real gem and we will always come back to this great hotel whenever driving between our homes in Italy and Denmark

The restaurant, Il Convento, was a very good experience. The service was excellent and the Italian food was amazing, we can only recommend enjoying a meal there in the superb setting

There are many trains to Munich, and it took about an hour to get to Innsbruck. I spent 5-6 hours exploring Munich, and even though I came back in the evening, the area near the station was safe and pleasant

I stopped by here on my way to Innsbruck, and the location was fantastic. It's right next to the train station. The air conditioning worked well, and I was satisfied with the price

Inform the front desk about parking and use the machine to print your parking card, which gives you a discount and allows you to enter and exit repeatedly

The hotel is nice and clean, right next to Rosenheim train station. Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot

The pool area is quite old, the showers hardly have any warm water, and the steam sauna could do with a renovation. The saunas can only be used from 1 p. Then we had a massage, but it was super gentle

On 2 occasions I saw and heard him treat other staff rude and speak down to them - in front of guests!!! That’s a NO-GO

The service was wonderful as always, the Kiesl family and their staff gave us a warm welcome - feel-good factor times 10! We had a very nice room with a view of the bathing lake, cleanliness and comfort left nothing to be desired

we spent a nice holiday in there 06.2018. Chiemsee is a nice spot for short vacation. Hotel is well connected either with train or by car. Room is quite & nice breakfast served.
