A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Very clean rooms and facilities.

Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Very enjoyable old songs from 70s and 80s the golden era of music of this type and other genres using above all electric instruments which gave a whole new sound. This set was acoustic with some effects added but effective and enthusiastic singers from a local duo from Lorrach. Audience mainly over 60 participated eagerly to experience a bit of nostalgia myself included !

The hotel is located directly on the spa gardens and very close to Luisenstraße, where several restaurants can be found. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service for an extended period during our stay, so we were offered a room in the annex building to avoid the three floors. Beautiful, classic-style hotel located in the heart of this small spa town. The room is pretty and comfortable, with good bedding, a beautiful spa, and a billiards table. One of the only affordable 4-star hotels in the area. The Wi-Fi is efficient, and the room is equipped with an Ethernet port.

Most of the staff is friendly, but too many things are broken. The pool needed to be refilled and took a good two days to heat up again. As I arrived they knew my name, friendly staff, clean hotel, nice Swimmingpool with large outside terras where you can lay down, enough towels, good food. I recently had the oportunity to sleep in Hotel Anna, it has been one of the best hotels I’ve ever been! The staff is great, really nice and kind, the rooms are neat, and the food they have in the restaurant is amazing!! It also has a heated indoor swimming pool!! I will definetely come back!!!

We can recommend this hotel, our stay here was just perfect! The room is modern and beautiful with a fantastic view, bathroom with all new fittings. It is a peaceful place and staff is very very friendly throughout!

Good, quiet place, to France 2 hours on foot, to Switzerland 4 hours on foot. We lived and worked here in the summer of 2020. The building is closed to visitors, repairs are underway, hot water is not everywhere, there is no gas, they cooked on electric stoves. The sewerage in the shared kitchen does not work. 9 € per day is deducted from the salary. Everything else is fine.

We spend the afternoon and night here on our way to Italy. Lovely quiet place, friendly staff and a very nice dinner. Besides all of that we had fun with our two teenagers in the spa and gym. It's quite closer to the motorway and no air conditioning so if you get a room at the front of the hotel on the motorway side there will be an amount of traffic noise. I found the beds a little on the hard srhe for my taste. Apparently the new adjustments w are very nice and I believe only €25 a night more

Everything was perfect during my weekend stay. The hotel has a warm, old-fashioned feel to it and is incredibly cozy and comfortable. But there was nothing outdated about the bathroom, which was modern, well-heated, with a huge shower that had perfect water pressure! This was the BEST Relais et Chateaux that we ever stayed at. the hotel looked brand new. The service was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful. We ate breakfast and dinner here and sometimes lunch. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Also, great wine list to choose from.

Very nice, cozy, family owned hotel. Situated right across the street from the Cassiopea therme, next to museum of Chekhov (Russian playwright). Might look a bit old, but the owners do put their soul into maintenance and service (welcome drink was a pleasant surprise!) Absolutely loved Hotel Balance, what a perfect stay in the Black Forest! The owner was an absolute delight and the hotel was fantastic.

Maria is an absolute wonderful host. The Balance Hotel was a peaceful, restful oasis and this town is a hidden gem. Our rooms with a spectacular view of the Burg Baden ruins and hamlet of the town were magical and looked like it was from a story book. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of meats and cheeses and scrambled eggs! We will definitely be coming back as our stay was much too short.
