Where to stay in Badenweiler

Very enjoyable old songs from 70s and 80s the golden era of music of this type and other genres using above all electric instruments which gave a whole new sound. This set was acoustic with some effects added but effective and enthusiastic singers from a local duo from Lorrach. Audience mainly over 60 participated eagerly to experience a bit of nostalgia myself included !

My husband and I recently indulged in the Roman Paradise package at Fini Resort Badenwiller, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The resort had an amazing setup, everything was impeccably organized, and both dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but offered a wide variety of choices. Good, quiet place, to France 2 hours on foot, to Switzerland 4 hours on foot. We lived and worked here in the summer of 2020. The building is closed to visitors, repairs are underway, hot water is not everywhere, there is no gas, they cooked on electric stoves. The sewerage in the shared kitchen does not work. 9 € per day is deducted from the salary. Everything else is fine.

This hotel has held the tradition of "old world charm" blended with a lovely modern spa/pool. A treat to see their collection of antiques!

We had an outstanding tasting menu of 4 courses. The flavours in each dish delicate and balanced and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the ambiance warm and pleasant. The monkfish served on a bed of black lentils was delicious and visually interesting. It was a special event to celebrate - Women in wine, with winemaker Johanna Bernhart presenting excellent local wines.

The Zur Sonne Romantik Hotel is amazing. Tom the chef and his wife Catinka made my friend and I completely at home! A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. The Hotel Alte Post is a fantastic place. We stayed in a very comfortable and quiet room. Upon our arrival after, a long day in the car, we were welcomed with a glass of local wine. Comfortable stay in friendly hotel Friendly hotel with spacious rooms but very small bathrooms (larger people might struggle in this tiny space). Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices and locally produced organic drinks available.

We stayed for a week and were very satisfied. The breakfast was rich, regional and fresh. Wishes were, if possible, immediately fulfilled. The manager of the house is a person full of warmth and friendliness. The room was comfortably furnished and clean. A halogen lamp in the bathroom was broken and was immediately replaced... Great! Very informal and friendly. Warm welcome. Small hotel, few rooms, a lot of quiet, lovingly designed, for us (30 years) a bit too classic/probably geared towards an older clientele. Breakfast was enormously rich, no wishes remained unfulfilled. The only drawback: leaving the windows open is impossible because of mosquitoes and air conditioning costs 5 euros per night. We can't say anything about value...

Very nice hotel with even friendlier staff. The city around it is mostly used for spa and therme activities, at which we only spent 1 night for our trip to Italy. We booked an overnight stay here on the way to Italy. Great contact and everything was handled well. Good and big apartment. The pets were allowed. We had a good stay. You can eat well within 10 minutes of walking.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment that is well maintained and well equipped. Really appreciated the small things like dishwasher tablets. The apartments are located in a quiet area of Bad Bellingen; the small center of the town is within walking distance.

The welcome was warm and you felt at home. The room was clean and cozy with all essential comforts. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback were the very thin pillows. Therefor a more than delicious, very extensive breakfast buffet was served, from which one didn't want to get up at all. My conclusion, anytime again. Price performance top!

06-11-2017: Excellent address for a transit through southern Germany. But it also seems excellent to me to stay here for a few days. We stayed on the first floor in a room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine Valley. Within walking distance to the Kurpark and nice restaurants. stay from 10/31/17 to 11/5/17. Very warm welcome from the hotel manager, but some problems with the rooms: TV (not a single French channel), no WI FI, no welcome drink , mini-bar unusable! We believe that this young couple has taken over this hotel and is trying to put everything back in order. They speak very little French, but Italian and English.

Nice hotel, certainly a bit outdated but the beds were fine. It was bloody hot in the rooms only because of the lack of air conditioning, we were here in early August 2017. Breakfast was delicious with warm freshly baked bread rolls.

Hotel located just opposite the Vita Classica thermal baths. Perfect welcome, a small cocktail is offered to you upon your arrival. The rooms are spacious (small kitchenette in our case) very quiet. Since we are in hotels a lot, I think I can judge what is on offer. From the outside, the impression is unspectacular at first, as is the entrance area and hallways. Directly in the hotel next to the reception there is a kebab shop INSIDE, you don't have to find it good, but it doesn't bother you and if you are hungry a pizza without a long way is certainly not wrong in the evening. Hospitality at its best. Even having arrived late in the evening, the lady owner and her husband the chef, served up a nice local inspired meal that was absolutely delicious. My 2 months stay was amazing! Cozy, private, clean and comfortable. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently by the staff, who also were very kind and friendly. 100% recomend!

We had a very pleasent stay in Stuub St. Georgen in Freiburg. Fair price and good location. Easy bike travel to the city. Quiet and some excellent food options in the evenening (within 5min. walking distance in the same street). I want to thank the team for their excellent service! I really makes me sad to give this place only 3 stars. Everything is brand new, modern and extremelly clean. The matress was a amazingly comfortable.
