Hotel Kölner Hof Refrath

The bathroom is a bit small and has old decor but is very clean along with the room, It is easy to get to Cologne by bus stop across the road or small walk to Train station. Very friendly staff

The room was perfect for what it needed to be - a place to sleep. I didn’t realize the heater would reset to lower automatically or perhaps it was user error, but it got cold overnight, hence a dropped rating on that. (We left early in the morning so I didn’t get a chance to bring it up to them.) Also, some loud guests came in late and made a ruckus in the hallway, but didn’t wake the kids up. Reception was otherwise helpful and kind. Accessing the building was easy and the location is good as there is a bus stop right in front and the tram is a 10 minute walk away. It was excellent value for money and allowed us to visit the Cologne Christmas markets on a budget!

My friends stayed here for a weekend. To be honest I don't understand the low ratings as the rooms are very clean and nice, ok outdated but the value for price is perfect. Breakfast was good too. They would stay here again for sure. Staff were really nice and helpful!

From 07.05. on the 08.05. I stayed in the Kölner Hof Refrath.
A single room with cabinets, furnishings (1.40 m bed, 1x wardrobe, 1 x flatscreen TV, 2 x night table, 1 chair & 2 x chests of drawers for plenty of storage space for longer stays) perfectly adequate, old-fashioned set up booked for me, but very clean :)
The small bathroom, as well as the Rest of the room in a very neat condition.
What bothered me, however, and this is also the reason for the lack of 5. Star is that the mattress, in my opinion, was saved: much too soft, if it is in the middle of the bed, standing to the left and right mattress side, and it is located in a small Pit.

...the selection of meats, cheese, bread, rolls, mares, and fruit is really good. Empty containers were immediately filled up or for a full container is exchanged.
The staff has always been accommodating and very friendly :)

I would book the Hotel again, and in spite of the defect with respect to the mattress recommend.

Were to visit in the Mediterranean and have stayed here. Key, you should pick up before the visit to the Hotel. Access in the Evening & at Night only about CODE!
Rooms small but very clean. It's all because of what you need just. No Minibar, but a hair dryer in the drawer. High beds, well-to-Stop. The room had a sufficiently large balcony with view to the Green. Bathroom with shower/curtain, otherwise comfortable. Sufficient Breakfast buffet, it the rye is a tool-is simply missing! Free Parking also in front of the house. Nice, polite reception with a feel-good effect!

Comfortable and quiet. Very decent hotel for a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Minus was the only one, no forced ventilation in the rooms.
