This Ibis maintains the style and certain accommodation quality of the chain business hotels.
1. The location is very close to the exhibition hall, but because we stayed there for 4 consecutive nights and walked to and from the city center of Cologne Cathedral every day, we later felt that it was a bit far from the areas where tourists often go shopping and sightseeing. Friends who come here for "pure tourism" are recommended to give priority to Ibis near Cologne Cathedral.
2. There is no bottled water, kettle, coffee bags, etc. provided in the room, but the front desk said that the water from the bathroom tap is drinkable.
3. There is a restaurant on the first floor. The food is delicious but you have to pay to eat.
4. There is no fixed cleaning time in the morning or afternoon, which sometimes affects our travel schedule.

I loved ibis Koeln messe. It was so nice we almost extending our stay. It had a home feel and was just so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing. Loved everything about the hotel. The best ibis I have stayed.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had booked for day use (10am-5pm) rather than overnight. My room wasn’t ready for my check in so they let have the room until 6pm instead which was great.

Stayed here for one night as a stopover before onward journey. About a 15 minute walk from the nearest train station, which was okay. Staff fine on check in. Room was comfortable and good air con, simple but did the job well. Breakfast was nice, a good selection. Would stay again.

The hotel is located well, good price for second room for travellers with family. Great service in general and outstanding breakfast!
