Modern rooms. Close to Travemunde ferry terminal (1 hour drive) so very convenient if you arrive the day before your ferry departure. Very decent restaurant offering menu and a la carte. The best is the very professional and very helpful crew. For Hyatt Globalist over the average treatment.

Excellent hotel. The room was large and modern. Everything was very clean. The staff were super nice. The hygiene rules were impeccable. The breakfast was very plentiful and the food in the bar and restaurant was very, very tasty. We had a good time there. We would love to go back.

The apartment is good. No WiFi in the apartment, just in the reception. The restaurant is expensive for just convenience food.

Location is nice. Wifi is very bad though. No wifi in the room, and also 4G doesn’t work in the room and on the premises. In 2020 that is no good.

Welcoming, family friendly, playgrounds (outdoor and indoor) are really good, beach is good for small children. Kinderfest on Thursday evening. We were in our caravan. Almost no phone reception on campsite.

The hotel is located two kilometers outside of Wismar. It takes 15 minutes to get to the center by car. Public transport is not recommended. Ok Hotel outside Wismar. Good swimmingpool and sauna. Ok restaurant but food average.

The hotel itself is a bit abroad from Wismar. The rooms were tidy, the staff at the reception friendly. The breakfast buffet was diverse. Sweet pastry, English breakfast, graved salmon, cold cuts and an asortment of bread were available. It was a good choice if you don't mind staying NEAR Wismar instead of staying IN Wismar.

Rooms was fine, but smells weird. Pool/wellness was a joke and was naked sauna. Food was good and nice staffing. Price was great.

We warn for the first time on the island of Poel! After an extremely friendly welcome from the innkeeper, who is also the owner, we quickly got our room, which was furnished in a very modern way. (Unfortunately, ordering via a booking portal was not quite as easy as expected! Since we wanted to take our little four-legged friend with us, there was a long back and forth as to whether this would be possible...

We have stayed here twice (summer and fall 2022) and it has been excellent each time. The team was always very friendly and designed our stay to our complete satisfaction. Highly Recommended!

We went there in the early afternoon for coffee and cake. We were the only guests. The selection of cakes was great, many cakes were made using rice pudding. As a result, the piece of cake - generously measured by the way - was al dente and really tasty. These cakes with rice pudding are highly recommended. The staff was really nice.

Accommodation very well maintained, friendly staff, breakfast plentiful with regional products. Sufficient parking spaces are available. There is shelter for bicycles. We'd love to come back.

This was our first time at this hotel and we loved it. Upon arrival, we were greeted personally by the hotel owner and given our keys. The room was spacious and had a nice interior design. We especially liked the breakfast the next morning, which was delicious and varied.

We were welcomed by a very nice woman in the reception, who took good care of us and showed us around before she took us to our room. The room itself was large and with plenty of space. The same goes for the bathroom, which was also clean. The bed was a bit hard and I didn't like the pillow nor the blanket. The restaurant served good food at a reasonable price, but we did have to wait for a bit too...

A high quality hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very new and clean. Also great if you are also going to the Waterpark as you have an exclusive entryway. The breakfast is also one of the best in Germany.

Comfort, fun, quality of food recording to price where super! We had a very nice stay with our little girl of 9 months. The only thing I can think of that we found odd was the difference in wine glasses since we where drinking the same wine.

I really enjoyed the experience, especially the pools and different water activities. The room was always very clean and organized. I recommend this hotel, it’s next to the Hochschule Wismar, which is an advantage if you are studying or teaching there for a few days. Thanks.

Wonderful resort with all amenities and very friendly staff who speak English (big plus for us) everything is clean. Clean and spacious rooms for families in cosy setting. Very good breakfast for the price. Good bicycle storage. Service in english is at the normal german level - does not quite exist ☺️ Strong recommendation for families on bikes.

Indeed a great hotel. Self check-in is available, which really surprized me in a positive way. The staff speak English flawlessly, so no need to worry if you would need German language. The rooms are 9/10 clean. The location is super too.

The bed was horrible. In a small hotel like that a good bed for one night you are staying there is the only thing you need after a day's drive and this is exactly the one thing the hotel fails to deliver. A shapeless pillow and an extremely uneven matras were my accomodation for the night. On the bright side - the wifi worked (slowly at times), the room was small but neat, clean and rather space efficient...

Hotel was just ok, nothing special. Seemed rather dated for a 4 star. Room was spacious but old furniture. Restaurant on site but overpriced and limited menu and also closed on Mondays. Location wad perfect. Private parking. Decent wifi. Dogs allowed. Recommend but it needs an upgrade and slightly more attentive staff. Breakfast not included.

Classic rooms, ours unfortunately had a dirty bathroom (hairs from the previous guest(s)), we sadly also didn't get the full briefing on the room (like free first round of drinks in the fridge and bathrobes for the sauna). Great mattress.

We spent a night here in July 2023 and wish we could have stayed longer. This is an excellent hotel, very well-managed with extremely friendly and helpful staff! Like the Sauna, unfortunately Dampf sauna is under repair. Breakfast is good, but missing fish. The location is directly in market Square. Parking is 17euro per day not cheap. The service personnel are very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, modern and in a great location. Those who want to watch the water and/or ships will get their money's worth here. Right on to the promenade in Travemünde, the windows of this restaurant face the beach and sea. The staff here is very nice and helpful. Enjoyed coffee and cake at this place.

We assume it was due to our travelling clothes however still a word feeling beeing welcomed like that… Celebration of women’s day started with a glass of champagne 🍾 for the women.. 🙏

Very nice classic hotel with wellness and mixed spa area. The surroundings have not much to offer. The bar area have an awful bad acoustic they have to do something about, as people cant either talk or even hear the music (a pianist when we where at the place) so most people lieve or go to ther room.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel in a suite for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The toilet had a bit of a sewer smell but not bad. I didn't enjoy trying to figure out the light switches. The spa was lovely and peaceful. The main restaurant food was delicious.

This is one of the most polite and nicest hotel with very welcome and friendly stuff! We was warm welcomed here with our pets, both Dog and Cat! No one other hotel where happy to see us, but Hotel Deitscher Kaiser was! 5 of 5 stars for everything! Thank you for your warm welcome us!

The rooms are huge and nice. The view (room with sea view) is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay with small kid, under 2 years old. During the winter the room is well warmed. We will come backback :) Fully recommended

Quiet clean good beds all good.

Nice reception on arrival! 70s charm, but clean and partly renovated room. Quite loud, since the toilet flushing could be heard in the neighboring room and various noises.... So we didn't think the price/room was appropriate!

Nice hotel, lovingly furnished. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It is worth eating here, there are delicious creations and there should be something for everyone. The only downer was, I had a stain on the bed sheet. Instead of exchanging it, the bed was put in and good. I would have expected more, too bad.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. It was friendly, clean, perfectly located, easy for families like ours with a young child, quality spa treatments (Aloe vera facial is heavenly!) and fantastic restaurant. ONLY thing missing was tea/coffee in the room but apart from that, we were really happy with everything.

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Windspiel over the New Year 24/25 including half board. We were able to experience a pleasant, family atmosphere during this time. The Evers family's breakfast and dinner are excellent, and the service is quick and very friendly. The furnishings in the rooms may no longer be quite up to date, but the mattresses are great and the room and bathroom are kept spotlessly clean...

Considering its location (a stone's throw from the port), it's very reasonably priced. A good option for cyclists because of their lockable bike-shed. The rooms are nothing to write home about, in the good or bad sense. Gluten-free options were quite limited at the included breakfast. Only a few staff members knew English, but that seems to hold for every place in (northern) Germany.

The hotel is located in Niendorf on the main street in the second row to the beach. This can be reached on foot in under a minute and is nowhere near as crowded as e.g. in Timmendorfer-Strand or Scharbeutz, which we liked again more than usual during this time (Corona). Small family-run hotel with everything you need. Very clean rooms that are individually furnished. A socket near the bed and a light above the bathroom mirror would have given the 5th star.

Very nice little hotel, the owner very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, clean and had a nice balcony with a seating area, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and very attractively presented. If I go on vacation in Dahme again I will definitely book here again.

Great boss, incredibly nice and clean rooms. It is only a few minutes' walk to the beach. The balconies are very nicely furnished. Invites you to relax when you don't want to go to the beach (but who wants that? 😉).
