Reviews
Parking was a little confusing at first, but you can either par along side the road or then the hotels own parking further away.
The hotel is a bit of a maze, with a rather small lift.
The hotels breakfast was great, not a massive selection, but very pleasent and extremely friendly staff.
Over all, nice hotel, nice stay, friendly staff. Would recommend and would come again!
My mother and I stayed at this hotel when visiting the area for my uncles funeral. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and allocated us the most comfortable room with the best view of the promenade and the boats passing. The decor was nice, and the room was a decent size with a nice seating area to enjoy the view. The location was fantastic for local shops and restaurants. There were two choices for breakfast, served from 7-12. Upstairs in the garden room and then downstairs in Jo’s. Breakfast had a reasonable choice and was very nice. The downsides were the bed wasn’t so long. I am tall (6ft) and my feet hung off the end. There was also no security safe which is helpful when you are staying from abroad and have passport etc. the fridge also was super loud and so at night we had to switch it off. Parking is a short walk from the hotel and chargeable at 5euro per night, but there is parking in the street nearer the hotel which is free from 6pm until 10am. All in all, a very pleasant and comfortable hotel and we would certainly consider returning.
The hotel is partly newly renovated and gives a lovely vibe. The hotel apartment room was spacious and offers all needed facilities. Only the bedroom curtains could be updated to offer proper blackout.
The stuff is very friendly and the breakfast was beyond expectations. We are quite picky when it comes to food but the breakfast was very good. Small quantities but always fleshly refilled and great variety. We will definitely be back.
Fully recommended
Modern rooms, completely upgraded, rooms and suites that offer maximum comfort
and breakfast buffet that's included and fully loaded. Finest bread choices: crunchy rolls, seeded or plain, sliced, whole wheat, white, sweet, raisin, croissants and more. 2 kinds of eggs, among them tasty scrambled with green onion and excellent meat choices: bacon pieces, bouletten (mixed ground meat patties, a German delicacy), little sausages. Fruits fresh or cut. Yogurts and quark options, cheeses galore from sliced types to bries, meats that cover a large service table, fish pickled or smoked and veggies for raw foodies. Also juices and champagne.
The service is great and very accommodating.
We were there in the winter and can only guess at the charm of this Oceanside spot during warm weather.
The rooms were large and plumbing modern. WiFi was adequate and consistent.
We chose it based on proximity to train station, we walked, and Travemünde ferry port.
