My Honest Review – A Mix of Good and Disappointing Experiences

I’ve stayed at many hotels and visited many destinations around the world. I’ve experienced some truly excellent accommodations — but I was quite surprised by this hotel. Despite paying a fairly high price for the room, there was no coffee machine, no kettle, no complimentary coffee or tea, and not even any cups or mugs in the room. If you want coffee maker, you have to purchase it — but not even available to purchase for us!!! which is quite disappointing for a hotel in this price range. I honestly didn’t expect such a basic service to be missing.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. Normally, when I stay at a quality hotel, someone helps carry the luggage to the room. But here, we had to carry everything ourselves — no staff assistance was offered at all. I understand that some hotels in Europe, even 4-5 stars, may not offer porter service, but for a hotel of this standard, it’s something that should definitely be available.

Frankly, the lack of a coffee maker, kettle, and cups was very disappointing and unacceptable. I strongly suggest the hotel improve this aspect.

That said, there were also some positive points: the room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

For Asian travelers: be aware that in Germany, if you want to use the sauna, you are required to be completely nude — otherwise, you won’t be allowed to enter. This might come as a cultural shock, so I suggest the hotel consider offering private or modest options if they want to welcome more international guests.
