We always like to come back to the North Sea Hotel. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the staff is nice and of course the location is very good. In bad weather you have the possibility to make tea or coffee in your room or take a walk around the Friesenterme. The rooms with a view of the lake have binoculars so you have a good view of the seal beach.

We've stayed at many hotels on Borkum, but we absolutely love the Inselhof the best! The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. We've rarely slept so well in a bed; they're very comfortable. The breakfast is highly recommended; you get everything your heart desires. From freshly squeezed orange juice to equally freshly prepared egg dishes that don't come from a tetra pack. We had booked the guest house at the end of '24 (still Rias Beach House at that time) and arrived on April 24th, 2025...unfortunately we weren't happy with the bed, among other things...we complained about that at the reception in the Inselhof and within an hour the very nice receptionist had a room ready for us in the main building...the room was great and the breakfast buffet and the service staff...

We were served very courteously and had a delicious dinner, although we weren't registered during Corona times, we got a place with a wonderful view of the sea. The food was fresh and tasty.

This was our second time in the hotel. The rooms have been renovated. It has become very cozy and beautiful. Breakfast at the buffet rich and tasty. The staff tried very hard. There was even an apple pie for my wife's birthday. We have already booked for 2022.

If you have the room at the back, it can be very noisy during the day. There are lots of children playing there, and they are right to let off steam there. Unfortunately, due to the construction, it is twice as loud. Otherwise the hotel is ok.

The location is great for the town, 1 minute for the train, 5 minutes to the beach. The little park outside is great for sitting and watching the world go by. We would have happily stayed longer.

Very friendly welcome, we were offered a coffee on arrival. The room was very nice and modern. Kettle and a large TV was also available. The bathroom was great. All in all, everything was very clean. We also felt very comfortable in the breakfast room. Even on Sunday there was fresh bread from the bakery. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We look forward to the next visit 🙂👍

We were on Borkum for 7 days. The hotel is in a beautiful location. A bit out of the way but accessible by taxi, bus and bike. From there you can take beautiful walks through the dunes. Breakfast was varied. Very good dinner. Very friendly staff.

I love every one of my stays in the hotel and also in the holiday apartments in the house next door that are managed by the hotel. The staff is super friendly & helpful. Classic 4 star hotel exactly in line with the category. Price performance is rather mediocre, but clean, tidy and good beds...which is a decisive criterion for us. Room cleaning only on request, breakfast plentiful and of good quality, reception only occupied part of the time, which is actually not typical for a 4 star hotel, location in the city center but quiet... all in all quite okay, a bit simple...

When we are on vacation in Borkum, we are always at Villa Weststrand. The hotel is just great. Totally centrally located, nice rooms and the breakfast is really good, especially the bread rolls. The Najade is an owner-managed house outside the center of Borkum. It is close to the south beach. About 3 restaurants are within walking distance. Supermarket and bike rental are nearby. The rooms are spacious with good beds! A garden plot belongs to the house, the only thing missing here is a shelter for bicycles.
