Hotel is very nice, other than the people at the reception , are very rude. Smiling in your face because you paid double and then saying they can’t do anything while they made the mistake. I will never stay there again, because being treated wrong and being smiled at, while she working in a new personal, very disapointing

No ammenities provided, except tea bags and hot water, I had to buy the toothbrush, and they had not razors or foam.
Room was nice and clean.

Price was OK, not cheap, but being the only higher quality hotel around could be justified.

We were there for 3 nights, felt very comfortable. The staff was very hard working, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. The rooms are excellent, the breakfast is wonderful. We can recommend this hotel.

This is probably my third time staying in this hotel, and the room I was given this time was a bit small. Everything is fine, just that simple and quality feeling. It’s the simple feeling I like. fine.

The hotel offers superb value for the price. It is in excellent condition and has a fantastic location. The buffet breakfast options were good, and the staff exceeded the standards of most hotels in Germany, especially considering the challenges in finding staff. We highly recommend it and are sure that we will be back.

Update: the response from the hotel is the perfect example of the poor level of service you can expect, and confirms exactly why they are due 1 star. They state again I am wrong, when I have screenshots of my booking confirmation which clearly prove otherwise. Perhaps instead of making accusations about the accuracy of my assertion they could fix the issue for future customers. I would love to include the screenshot here but it will likely be removed. If the hotel would like to contact me I will be happy to provide it.
Original review: I found that the rooms were listed incorrectly and didn’t have the features specified on the listing. The hotel staff were dismissive and did not resolve the issue, despite having other rooms available that did match what I booked. So make sure to double check you are getting what is advertised before you book.

A great hotel. Special to us as this is what we needed after staying in a so called four star hotel in Aachen . We were at Europe Platz Mercury motor Inn and it was so bad. This place is so relaxing and great to bring the one you love to. We had the evening meal served to us by very friendly and experience waiters. Of course it is expensive but worth it when one gets what one should get. Breakfast in this lovely dining room was very well laid out. If you ever follow my comments you will see I have a good moan at things that is wrong.. So here it comes. (: The only grumble I have is my room is over a SMOKING Zone. Hotels as great as this should ask people to walk a little away from the hotel. I hate uncaring smokers. O dear, the second evening for our meal did not go well. New waiters and the food was so badly cooked I then new it was not the same cook as the first evening. We could not eat the half cooked food . The duck was so red raw and tough. The waiters were not interested in all this and even though we only ate a little we paid the full price. Anyway a lovely hotel and you will enjoy your stay here.

Parking is 8 euro per day, but if you look for it, it is also possible to park closeby.
The breakfast was very good and in the center of Lippstadt there are nice places to eat for good price (you can also drive to Soest). In the neighbourhood there is really good swimming pool (8 minutes drive).
The hotel personel was (mostly) very friendly and we got good service from the women of the hotel desk.
One thing they really need to address is the furniture and the stage setting. Much is worn-out.
