A somewhat dated Radisson hotel, but still very good! The Business Class rooms are still old fashioned furnitured as in 2010 or something.. But very clean and comfortable, the restaurant was very good and super friendly staff! The wellness i don’t know as I was here for one night! I don’t get all the negative reviews!

The room for two was only with one set of towers and bedcover. But the lady from reception corrected it soon. Breakfast was good. The pool is small but lovely. What is disappointing: I paid only during booking, but when I checked out, the man at reception asked me to pay again immediately with double price. I already told him that I had paid before. Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Rooms need some refurbishment, but in general, they are very comfortable and nice. The wellness area with pool and sauna on the top floor is really amazing.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Location right outside the station. With windows closed no problem with the noise. Beds are big and comfortable, electricity sockets in a few places round the room, also right in the corner next to the bed and armchair - great for reading a book. Nice and welcoming reception with a lot of comfortable little sofas to sit down. The only downside was the room had no fridge...

Very clean rooms and bathroom. Slept great, good mattress. Windows are soundproofed, so street noise is almost not heard. BREAKFAST, to find something for everyone. No safe - the only criticism.

Check-in wasn't very good, but everything else was good. Room as expected, and breakfast decent too.

4.5 Stars. Centrally located in Altstadt. Nicely appointed lobby. Superior room came complete with dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and fridge. Small table for 4, sofa and bed. Plenty of room. Self service laundry and fitness room available. Lots of options for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Minor miscommunication on room cleaning, but extra towels brought cheerfully on request.

Very comfortable room in a charming hotel. B&B only - breakfasts were very good. Hotel would supply plates, knives & forks etc if you ordered a takeout meal and the restaurants would deliver to your room. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Cottbus is a charming little town with plenty of bars and restaurants. Nice walks along the river.

We were visiting the area to explore my husband’s Wendish heritage and experience the surrounding area including the Spreewald. The Sorat Hotel was great for both purposes. Good location, town has good transport. Hotel clean apart from the last guests leftovers in the fridge. No tea making facilities? A major omission.

The hotel is quite new. All materials and finishing is new, modern and arranged in good taste. Specious rooms! Comfortable beds, enough various pillows, all necessary room facilities, very well insulated, great breakfast- all you need, including fresh made warm stuff. It has been one of the best stay I have ever had.

The room was very clean, but a little pricey for the quality (more so, outdated). The service was excellent and very kind. The breakfast brunch was the best, really. They also supplied a nice kinder bed without me asking, i found this be very thoughtful. And they didnt make a fuss about late check-out, which i found to be super helpful when traveling with 2 children by myself. Thank you!

Nice and quiet, the rooms were cleane and tidy and the beds a little to hard. Wifi din't work more than 3-4 minutes at the time. Food was ok, no more.

Perfect place to spend a long weekend. We booked it via Groupon and received the hotel booking in combination of boat trip in Spreewald . The hotel has cozy rooms with a nice forest view, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious! It's the place to stay for someone traveling to spreewald/cottbus :)

Good value for money. The rooms are clean and orderly. The staff is quite "brandenburgisch". The food at the restaurant was delicious.

Decent rooms at a fair price for a one night stopover while heading for Krakow. Clean, good beds-would stay here again when in the vicinity. Slightly overworked staff at checkout complained to us about the duty roster - not very professional. Location is somewhat industrial and near a highway, but by no means were we bothered by that.

Excellent place for a stopover. Room was spotless, and the breakfast buffet was great value for money. Conveniently next to the highway, so noise is unavoidable.

The bed is comfortable and the sheets are clean, the carpet and curtains are quite old and the wifi is good enough. The breakfast is simple but make you satisfy.

Clean, comfy supper simple rooms but missing a lot of the basics. For one, no iron or ironing board anywhere on the premises, servers are either spot on or horrible, no in between. We had a drink order for 8 people take 30 minutes into dinner and then it was wrong. A food order got completely forgotten and required us to ask another server to put it in. Last minute booking on our way home to the UK from Poland. NOT disappointed! Great location in a fabulous, friendly city, with heaps of culture and amazing architecture! Convenient for both the railway station and the city centre, and literally just around the corner from the incredible Staatstheater, an early 20th century archetectural design masterpiece that is still ahead of its time... The rooms were available at very short notice. The rooms were cozy and big. The breakfast was excellent and I had the possibility to stay longer because of an quick online meeting I did in the restaurant . There is a parking slot available as well.

Expected more from the price tag and photos.

Frühstück war sehr gut für jeden was dabei.Die Lage direkt in der Ortsmitte und alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.Haben nur die minibar auf dem Zimmer vermisst.

This hotel has been partially remodeled adding a winter Garten and a bigger dinning salon. But we know better its restaurant. Whenever we go to Burg first lunch /dinner is in Bleske restaurant. Here you can enjoy a well made traditional food.

Restaurant is overpriced. Suppe without bread. Portion is super small.

Rooms are well-sized and tidy. Personal is friendly, breakfast was wonderful.

Very tasty food at fair prices in a cozy atmosphere and with friendly and ambitious service. Whether it's a girls' evening with your best friend, a family meal or a business lunch with colleagues: the customer is and remains king and he can feel that too. That hasn't changed a bit, even after the move. Keep it up. We like to come back again and again.

The operation Ms. Jahn is doing a very good service work She cares actively for the Welfare of the guests.Always afloat and very kompitent and polite. I have absolutely no objection and endorse the arguments of britta fruit completely. the steaks were a perfect cooking point. everything was very fresh and well gewürtzt. the only drawback: tomato soup from the bag. (a plus point for smartphone users: kosenloser W-LAN-hotspot)

Waldhotel Eiche is a beautiful place to visit. The building is historic but the rooms and facilities are very modern and pleasant. The hotel was extremely comfortable. We canoed right into the hotel and then out again in the morning. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of bike trails right from the hotel. Highly Recommended!!

Good restaurant, good breakfast in a quiet location close to the water. The room is of a normal standard, clean and has everything you need, even a ceiling fan. Staff is nice and there is a nice beer garden in summer. Price performance fits. With pleasure again.

Wonderful location, lovingly tended grounds, modern and practically furnished rooms. The reception is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Breakfast is served from 6.30 a.m. Very friendly, helpful staff. You can rent good bikes here. It is maybe 10 steps to the natural harbor. You can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience! We'll be back here anyway.!

The hotel is not something special , but the people that were there for shoure are special in a good way! The price is ok , the staff very nice , the food at the restaurant was great! so for my experience 5 stars, they deserve every penny that they ask for!

Just ate outside a meal. The "Holzfäller Steak" was too small for the price of 13 EUR. Both waitresses were unable to ask if anything was good.

Beautiful place in the heart of Spreewald. Very helpful and friendly staff. Gurken Museum is next to the hotel. Very relaxing and quiet place surrounded by the canals. 5-10 minutes walk to the town. The apartments are housed in a prefabricated building near the train station. The location is not convincing, but the apartments are very clean. Ideal situation very close to autobahn. We used it to stop over on our way to and from Praha. The rooms were satisfactory and the price was acceptable. The breakfast was abundant and the choice of dinner courses satisfactory. We will certainly return, if we find ourselves in this part of Germany again.

Good hotel, we spent only one night, but it was all clean and with comfortable beds. On the other side if you plan to pay for the breakfast there, the price it´s just way too high (15€), it´s better to find a local place to have breakfast.

The hotel is fine for three stars, no WiFi! Very expensive alcohol bar.... it has pretty big parking in front of the hotel even LKW may be parked there! Some apartments have balconies.

The Hotel is very modern and super. The location to the highway is not something too far away. The Service was also very nice. Only the room was not so nice and at the worst I use to be many black beetles. They were really everywhere. You could not, accordingly, also sleep really well because you also had in the night.

We were just for dinner and I must congratulate the (single) waiter at the restaurant on a Friday night, who was exceptional: attentive, kind and very professional. Very rare to see this kind of service now. Food was good.

I stayed here once and really loved it! Very clean, cozy and modern rooms. And i had a room just next to the lake, just unbelievable nice and beautiful. I had a small terrace to enjoy the beautyful view and fresh air. The breakfast is very rich, fresh and delicious. There was absolutely nothing i missed or could say bad about this. The price is fair for what you get. I really can only reccomend this...

Proper and reasonably priced hotel where two motorcyclists found refuge on a rainy night. Very agreeable accommodation, decent restaurant and breakfast but most of all superbly friendly staff.

Quit basic Hotel, rooms are comfortable. Restaurant and Bar are not open on a regular basis. Very helpful on the front desk. I would stay there again.
