Last minute booking on our way home to the UK from Poland. NOT disappointed! Great location in a fabulous, friendly city, with heaps of culture and amazing architecture! Convenient for both the railway station and the city centre, and literally just around the corner from the incredible Staatstheater, an early 20th century archetectural design masterpiece that is still ahead of its time... Arriving at the hotel by car was easy; there was private car parking adjacent to the hotel, and check in was a pleasure. The lady manager was brilliant - I enjoyed practising my poor German language with her - "Sehr schöne Schuhe, liebe Frau!". She was so helpful in helping us to check in and showing us to our rooms, and very proud of Cottbus and its wonderful attractions. Thank you so much, Madam! I recommend paying the extra for the breakfast here, as it is of superb quality, and served in the super-quaint restaurant at the corner of the building - a GREAT way to start the day! Overall, a superb stay, with everything we needed on hand. Also a wonderful city, with a great history and culture so, if you haven't been here before, make sure you do your research before you come and stay!

The rooms were available at very short notice. The rooms were cozy and big. The breakfast was excellent and I had the possibility to stay longer because of an quick online meeting I did in the restaurant . There is a parking slot available as well.

We were given a tiny room with 3m width for the full price, even though we booked a double bed room. Our room had no table, the curtains didn‘t close properly, the internet was not working. I won‘t stay here again.

The staff is super friendly and the rooms nicely decorated. We were able to Park our bikes safely in the courtyard. But the price did not fit to the seen.(no Elevator, mini bar broken, bathroom in urgent need of refurbishment). If the family room is on the third floor, is the rather goofy. The Breakfast was very good.

We had booked an apartment, which is on the courtyard side out. The App. two houses located in a tenement house, and the yard was the toilet for the dogs out of the house.On the Homepage all it was touted to be very beautiful, unfortunately, it was completely different.The coffee machine was weaving for weeks not cleaned up in the kitchen Cabinet ,hair and a lot of crumbs from the predecessor were neither there was there coffee or tea as it was on the Homapage, anywhere spin. In the bathroom was burned from the three bulbs only so that the dirt probably does not see as well as in the living room the same. In the bedroom, a strange smell was left by the us not to sleep, and the springs from the bed in the living room banging and you thought the break.The Breakfast was so-so. The two ladies of the reception and the Breakfast service were friendly the only postive. In our opinion, this house doesn't deserve three stars. The price - performance ratio is not right here at all. A pity ,because we were really looking forward to the short holiday.Are prematurely left. Have also submitted a list of deficiencies to the front Desk, and photos of the defects.

The single room is more of a tube than a room. The bathroom is reaching its spatial limits when Entering (the same). The water faucets, both the sinks as well as in the shower turn off by itself (like on a highway rest stop). Actually, the only that is missing a piece of Money for the next 30 sec. throw must. Shower products are on allocation in small hand-packs. (Stupid white was forgotten for me, the exchange of the empty Packs in the room cleaning. - Well, if man is prepared and own Shampoo.
The Hotel is right on a busy junction of main roads (incl. Transport). The walls (and doors) are very noisy (neighboring rooms, you will understand without problems). The Breakfast is very clear.
Positive the staff at the reception. The ladies are really too greedy!
In sum: waste of time and money...
