A somewhat dated Radisson hotel, but still very good! The Business Class rooms are still old fashioned furnitured as in 2010 or something.. But very clean and comfortable, the restaurant was very good and super friendly staff! The wellness i don’t know as I was here for one night! I don’t get all the negative reviews!

We chose the Raddison Blu Hotel for our wedding in Germany this year and we can’t say enough about the wonderful staff and service we received. Simone Tauber was our point person as we were planning our wedding overseas. She was absolutely fantastic in accommodating all of our requests for our reception. She always responded right away which we really appreciated since we had to organize everything from Canada. The head cook also made sure that we enjoyed all of the delicious food. He accommodated our special request for the buffet and everything was perfectly prepared. The location is fantastic as it’s right across from the train station making it easy for our guests to find. We were impressed with the breakfast each morning as well as the spacious executive room with balcony. All of the staff were great. David S was also super helpful with the wedding cake the next morning. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

The room for two was only with one set of towers and bedcover. But the lady from reception corrected it soon.
Breakfast was good. The pool is small but lovely.
What is disappointing: I paid only during booking, but when I checked out, the man at reception asked me to pay again immediately with double price. I already told him that I had paid before.
But he still asked me to pay again, until I show him my printed payment statement. So unprofessional and unfriendly! Ich finde es Schade.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Rooms need some refurbishment, but in general, they are very comfortable and nice. The wellness area with pool and sauna on the top floor is really amazing.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Location right outside the station. With windows closed no problem with the noise.
Beds are big and comfortable, electricity sockets in a few places round the room, also right in the corner next to the bed and armchair - great for reading a book. Nice and welcoming reception with a lot of comfortable little sofas to sit down.
The only downside was the room had no fridge and no kettle, and the bathtub wasn't draining very well.
All in all, a comfortable one night stay:)

3 months ago I booked this hotel. I then rang from Spain the reception and explained that my wife is in wheelchair and cannot walk anymore. No problem sir I will reserve for you room for handicapped people. If needed also a wheelchair could be provided. We special came to Cottbus and this hotel to celebrate our birthdays and that of one of our best friend. Radisson hotels we know from earlier years but from different locations in Germany. This is the good news. Bad yeah very bad news is.
Very small room and bathroom ( sized 1.7x1.7 mtr. And shower corner with high step of 70cm square. I complained to deception and was told by mistake the special room for handicapped people had been given to another person's. Only ONE room like this in whole hotel. Then our celebration. BISTRO was a big laugh. Just some tables and food came from the kitchen. We ordered for 4 person's but meals came only for 3. Apology from waiter. College had given 4 order to other table. After 20 minutes still no meal and I tesred if my meal was still warm. Little warm yes but they have used all the salt available in the kitchen. Could really not eat it. Told waiter and answer was I MUST TELL HOW MUCH SALT I WANTED!!!!. SO I TOLD YOU CAN TAKE IT BACK. After again half hour waiter did ask unkindly if my wife , the forth party, still wants her food. The answer why not earlier was. We have been very busy.
Bottom line is.
They spoiled very much our nice planned bistro dinner on our birthdays. And as for the room. This hotel is not even good enough to name themselves a HOSTEL.

The hotel is just opposite the main train station of Cottbus and thus about a kilometer or so from town center.
Reception staff always leave me with a pleasant impression, but the rooms regretfully don't. Rooms are spacious, offer good wifi and a good working environment and room rates are usually low. So far so good.
Regretfully those rooms feel dated and a lot of the fittings are being neglected by housekeeping. Last time I stayed the phone was physically damaged. Not that I wanted or needed to use it, but it makes you wonder, when easy to spot problems like this are not fixed. This time the shower head was spurting water from all sorts of unusual places. Again, not a problem, but the individual symptoms point to a root cause and that is "lack of care".
Last time I stayed the hotel would have gotten my thumbs up for cleanliness, this time I found long black hairs on the shower wall. These hairs were in such an obvious place that it made it very clear that the cleaning staff either didn't clean the shower or did a terrible job at it. While I am not squeamish about these things, I also feel that this hotel has a lot more potential and is let down by these easy to fix problems.
I'd appreciate tea/coffee facilities in the room, but I am likely asking too much here ;)

It offers a decent night's sleep and the location is quite good, but don't expect a four star hotel, because they have everything that it takes to have four stars, but their maintenance and rooms make it feel like a three star plus. On the other hand, prices are very appropriate for the quality you get, so I'll come back

A very nice Hotel, it is Centrally located opposite the railway station , but through the double glazing of the window, you get nothing.The Highlight of the Spa area is located on the top floor so you look at it from the Sauna and the swimming Pool from the top of Cottbus. Give it a try.

For a corporate event, the Radisson is ideal. We have played at a CEO meeting a communicative 9-hole office Golf course by the Hotel.
Office Golf is easy to learn and super suitable for Christmas parties, employee motivations, customer events,...
The location is right, the Catering is great and the view from the top floor is unique. The thumb and the Putter!.

Good rooms, friendly staff, and a very nice pool/sauna area. The "fitness room" is extremely limited... several cardio machines, but only a "universal"-type strength training machine. Breakfast is European style, but has good variety and fresh food. Good bar with a great staff... Marcell will take care of you!
