I really like this place where to live in this historical building. The museum also the hotel is in a forest. Very good environment, green tresses, grass and fresh air. For the hotel, good service and facilities are good inside room.

Outstanding place to stay staffed by very courteous, helpful people. Beautiful historic location. We walked for hours on peaceful forest trails nearby. Walking distance to nature museum, historical hunting museum, and an easy drive to Messel Pit, Frankenstein Castle ruins, downtown Darmstadt, Wedding Tower, Russian Chapel, Rose Garden, and shopping. On-site restaurant dinner was excellent, and breakfast was the best we experienced in Germany. Room was more spacious than other hotels. Free parking above ground. A great place to unwind. Good choice for business retreats.

A lovely location to stay one night or several nights. The green fish pond, the forest, everything breathes charm and rest. Everyone is kind and helpful. . We felt very welcome, also with our dog, in the Lodge as well as in the restaurant. The place is clean and quiet and we regretted not to be able to stay longer. We're looking forward to come back here some time soon.

The hotel staff is above the rest. Always a pleasant greeting, knowledgeable on the area, and not just willing , but wanting to assist. We were at the end of our 3 month vacation and visiting friends in the area and decided to try the Jagdschloss. The rooms is larger than normal hotel rooms and the bed is very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful in unloading and loading our bags. There is a space near the front door to temporarily park for this purpose. It is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are relaxing to tour or to look at the wildlife. We will return for another visit in the near future. Thank you for your hospitality!

The beds are awful For some reason they use two mattresses slid together to make a double/queen size bed. The problem is that you can't sleep in the center of the bed because the mattresses slide apart. I wasn't able to get much sleep because of the moving mattresses.

As someone who has stayed for 40 years in hotel beds, on different continents, I give this Hotel 6 out of 5 possible stars. The interior archit tonic solutions for rooms and other functional rooms are good, to very good Standard. The location is outstanding. The kitchen not only understands, but, among other things, from Wagyu meat to bring a dish to the plate, forget once, and I will eagerly indulge.The competence and friendliness of the staff is to locate the top but really g a n z up in the Bewertungsscalen.

A super gelangene combination between the old and the new! For me, the best Hotel in Darmstadt! Is removed a bit of the City, but the quiet location is uncompromising.
