Very Nice rooms but ask for quiet view… Great bar +++

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Maritim. We dined there and the food was excellent. The room is good. However we were disappointed with the lack of power with the air conditioning and air circulation. The thermostat has no effect whatsoever.

We stayed one night after flying in to Frankfurt airport and on our way to drive to Switzerland. We loved the family room, so spacious and comfortable and nice view of the train station. During my recent work trip, I stayed at this hotel, and it met my expectations. The rooms were well-appointed, providing a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation after a busy day. Additionally, the hotel features a pool for those interested.

Great place. Staff is super helpful and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and lighting is good. Only negative is the doorless shower which is common now. Water on the floor is not good.

Hotel is dated, but rooms were being renovated while I was there. No sign on the outside of the building to indicate it is a hotel.

Comfy and cosy hotel with good buffet breakfast. But they have some really irritating staff as well. Overall good hotel for short and long stay.

Pro: 5 mins to city center. Next to Herrengarten, Clean, modern, convient, parking, Bistro on premises. Recommended. Con: Internet connection poor, TV service interrupted, at this time.

The true quality of this place is the personnel. Always kind, welcoming, smiling and really makes the difference. Other than that, the place itself needs renovations and the back view of my room was of an incredible sadness.

Awesomely located

Clean and great location. If you get a room with a double bed, keep in mind that it will be 2 twins in a diuble frame. I found this not the best for sleeping. Their pillows were super squishy down. I like firm pillows, so i needed to combine the cushion in the closet and pillows.

Need an air-conditioned install in rooms... everything else is fine...I had sauna built into the bathroom when the whole room was filling like one

Great service all around. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and coffee. The internet was not too reliable though.

First time I was at the hotel I got a normal room and everything was perfect. This time I was there for 3 day and got an upgrade for a very awesome apartment room. The rooms a like new and on the small one there was an XBOX and in the apartment the was a sauna. The breakfast is okay but far from the best and the location is pretty boring.

Pleasent surprise. Room was spacious and loved the Jacuzzi. But for some reason my wife and I did not find the bed comfortable.

We had booked a big family room and the room was very clean, tidy and warm.

Overall: good but not great. Wifi connection was so so bad - we were on the 2nd floor and once you’re sat in bed the connection is gone. Only got connection when standing in the hallway next to the bathroom. We checked in quite late and the man at the check in desk wasn’t particularly welcoming or professional. Altogether a good place to stay while in Darmstadt, conveniently close to the station, mostly friendly staff. There are three points I would like to highlight nevertheless: - Bedding. Pillows could be more comfortable, one small square-shaped down pillow is provided per single room. Very nice hotel, the fitness room is perfect enough to get the last bit out of you on the way through and to relax in the big shower and then fall into the cozy bed and then watch the big TV flickering in a nice atmosphere. I would like to thank you again here, you are doing a great job.

Very good and pleasantly furnished hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center.Rooms are clean and well-kept. Equipment above standard level. Underground parking is available. I would love to come back.

I always stay in this hotel when I'm in Darmstadt, and it's absolutely outstanding. The breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious, with lots of choice and variety. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and recently updated, and the whole place is very quiet and peaceful. Excellent quality/price ratio. Wifi is good compared to other hotels in Darmstadt. Breakfast is very good for the price. This is my first choice when I travel to Darmstadt.

Check-In and Check-Out was very easy. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. The bed itself was comfortable but the gap between the two mattresses was huge. There was a huge smear on the toilett flush. Breakfast was rather disappointing.

Had a wonderful dinner here with a large corporate group. Meal was fantastic. And the wine selection was amazing. Seating was a little cramped on the long bench. And being very tall, the trip to the bathroom in the lower level was a bit dangerous.

The beds are awful For some reason they use two mattresses slid together to make a double/queen size bed. The problem is that you can't sleep in the center of the bed because the mattresses slide apart. I wasn't able to get much sleep because of the moving mattresses.

The studio apartment is okay but the staff is quite rude

Only 1 night here, but it's lovely! The hotel is pretty big, located nearby shopping center. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and really comfortable with nice amenities. The food is tasty as well 😊😊

I recommend for short-term stays as the hotel provides some suite/apartments for single or married couples. If you have a vehicle/bicycle it is convenient to live there.

Staying here as near where I am working for the week. Not a bad hotel, just nothing to write home about. Room is satisfactory. Shower is a bath, but no bath taps so just awkward. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. There is not much options for food close by, KFC and McDonald's, however the food in the restaurant is pretty good, but a small menu. Staff are helpful and happy. WiFi is very bad...

I wouldn't recommend staying here for vacation, but if you ate here for business reasons it is absolutely acceptable. The employees are nice and the quality of the interior is alright. Yet it is far away from luxury or even a bit higher comfort.

Lovely staff and service. The double room was comfortable and a good size with a good size bed. Nice modular wet room style ensuite. Only 10 mins walk from Town centre.

I recommend this hotel. It’s about 7mins walk from train and bus station, staff very friendly to me and room is clean. I wish wifi can be a bit faster and since there is no desk in room it’s not suited for business travel where you may need to work on computer. Definitely recommend for leisure travel.

Clean and modern hotel with some drawbacks. This is a good place to stay for several days but if you’re looking to stay a week +, I’d look elsewhere. Staff is very nice and accommodating however the rooms are on the smaller size. There is no desk for work, no storage / drawers for clothing and the hotel does not have laundry service available. Cool young place, a great way to spend your days in Darmstadt. The reception/bar area is stylish and you get water for free as much as you like. Rooms are middle sized and nicely equipped. There are ironing rooms if you come for business and lockers for valuables on the ground floor. Staff is nice. Recommended!

This is my favorite hotel and restaurant in Darmstadt. You can certainly stay at a more modern and fancier hotel than this, but the Bockshaut is right downtown, and kind of charming. The restaurant is excellent! I do indeed feel that this is the best restaurant in the city. The owner takes an interest in his guests and makes sure they are well taken care of.

Nice restaurant, fancy way of presenting food. Moreover, quality maintained throughout. I am posting a photograph of dessert which won my heart and food.

I come here once a year from USA this is the highlight of my trip I look forward to it all year especially the goose around Christmas. Always get the house special you won't be disappointed. The sauce (gravy) is better than the 5 star place my wife worked at even she agrees.

If you need somewhere for an overnight stay in Darmstadt, here is pretty good. No frills and basic facilities but the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is some quirky decor, almost like a boutique hotel. Breakfast was good.

Nice clean good deco bedroom with comfortable mattress, new modern bathroom. Small fridge would be great to have in room as there aren’t shops nearby by, but at entrance drinks at reasonable price and free coffee and cookies as well. Good location two mins walk to tram and road outside isn’t noisy either.

Lovely little hotel. The rooms are always very clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and always there to help. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, with plenty to choose from. The breakfast room has a calm & tranquil Zen quality to it - a great way to start your day. I felt very comfortable at Hotel Stadt Heidelberg and will definitely stay there again. Small town hotel but upscale design. Rooms were well decorated and appointed with amenities like coffee and tea and mini fridge not typically found in Germany. Bathroom was modern. Breakfast room was elegant with full German style buffet. Check in easy with a kiosk! Free WiFi. Someone was always available by phone for questions. Crisp and clean. Very happy with our stay.

As a starting point for the prison for the marathon, the location is ideal. The Breakfast buffet is very extensive. It is a holiday hotel is not really, but for one night, near the running track, it's perfect.

I stayed at this hotel for 13 nights in August 2019 and had a wonderful and comfortable time in Darmstadt. The breakfasts were phenomenal, always fresh in a very clean dining room with attentive staff. Rooms were cleaned and serviced every day. Great location. I took a bus from Frankfurt flughafen and found a bus stop just 2 blocks from the hotel which was a relief due to a large suitcase in hand....

Old fashioned hotel, comfortable enough for a night or two if you do something in the neighbourhood or you're there by car. Rooms are quite small. Clean and quiet, as long as there is no noise next door. No minibar, few machines in the lobby. Lights in the room are strange, noot good enough. Big parking in front of the hotel. Nothing to do in the evening anywhere nearby, at least 1.5km in any direction...

Great breakfast. Not located in the center but it has got a big parking area on the other hand. Also close to EUMETSAT and ESOC.

Parking in front of the house. Something in the years come, only Wi-Fi, cable, Breakfast basic, and the bathroom worn rather schmuddlig (blood stains next to the mirror and stains on the tile, the carpet stained and the chair. Service very friendly and good. On the Homepage advertised massage chair is no longer available.

It is okay to drink a beer and eat something. From my former stays I know that the rooms are small but everything is tidy.

Plus: Good Breakfast, good lunch, good staff, purpose built training rooms mediocre: the room and bathroom minus: no free Wi-Fi I was already at least 60 Times (three to five days) in the CTH Darmstadt (coach for the Telekom) and am satisfied. The price seems to me now, but Alternatives in Darmstadt, Germany, there are hardly any.
