We stayed 3 nights over a weekend in April in this very nice small hotel. We had a large room in the new building next to the old hosue with the restaurant. The interior including the bathroom was very modern and worked very well. Very little noise from other guests or from the traffic. Breakfast was traditionally German, fresh and delicious.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer modern und sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.

The building was big and open, outside is a nice walking route behind the carpark, free car park was a great touch, bakery & restaurant down stairs in the main part off the building

This gem of a place is located in the outskirts of Dortmund. The quality of food is very good with lots of Vegetarian options and salads. Their breads are awesome 👌

The rooms are simple but with a home like feel, good matrasses which is often a problem for me with my back, the breakfast felt classic German, simple but good. The only down side for us is the fact we had a room close to the stairs and at the bottom of the stair is a door whit a spring which slams shut, some dampening on the door with for example some pads would make this problem a lot better. I stayed at this hotel with my son when we travelled to watch the Dortmund v Celtic Champions League match and I would recommend it to anyone. The Grey is an awesome hotel, from the comfy beds to the super clean rooms and wonderful breakfast ! I felt safe and well looked after. The staff are super helpful and friendly even though I only speak English ! It is convenient to the main train station and town centre - I would definitely recommend to friends and family! I was really impressed starting from the beginning. Every detail of the room was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was really perfect. The hotel is conveniently located for the Hauptbahnhof and the city centre. My room was comfortable and well equipped with everything I needed for my stay. There was an excellent selection for breakfast. All of the staff I met were very helpful. The only negative thing was music noise from an adjacent venue on the Friday night.

This hotel was a great find in Dortmund. Booked a family room and a double room. Family room was extremely spacious with separate area for the single bed. Double bedroom had a balcony and a beautiful walk in shower. Breakfast was included, great choices of yogurts, cereals, pastries and other items. Staff were very helpful and really friendly. The bathtub lacked a non-slip surface.

While the weather was bad, there were not even a few lights in the room... The facilities were very poor, not four stars.

Lovely hotel, clean, lovely decor, very welcoming staff and extremely very helpful. Great choice of breakfast and really fresh. WiFi not good at all but the great staff at reception got us logged in after we couldn’t connect but it kept dropping after a few minutes and we had to reconnect, we had roaming on our mobile plans so it wasn’t a hassle. The sanitation is OK, it has a retro style, the service is OK, and it is very convenient to the train station, which is only a 10-minute walk away. Please note that the latest check-out time is 11:00

For the price, I don't expect gold taps. But the fact that there is no hand soap and the shower gel is left on the floor of the shower when you arrive is unacceptable. The shabby shower head was particularly annoying. It had an unhealthy brown color and didn't work properly. The problems were reported to the staff but they didn't fix it the next day despite promises. The hotel feels like a warehouse...

Just had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Daun. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful food and terrific staff.

Hotel Neuhaus is somewhat basic in its furnishings but everything is thoughtfully planned and laid out. For example, there is a chair on the landing between floors. Great service from the reception, easy to check in and out. The room was good for a shorter stay/ It was clean and has everything you would need. The bathroom was good and had a nice view outside. Provides coffee and tea at the lobby for free.

Celebrated my son's wedding reception here.. The event house was perfect, the food was fantastic and the staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Ok hotel for 1-2 days, but not longer. Rooms are spacious, but there is no air-conditioning, refrigerator, iron board, water cooler or other things that is a must these days for a comfortable stay. Reception is in a tiny corner between restaurant and kitchen. This place has a lot of potential to be a good hotel if under right management.

I have work this hotel 4 week as a practice (Heißt in Deutschland Pratikum ) I have really good time here specially Herr Westermeier he is such a awesome and kind person I ever meet in Germany and there housekeeping staff they are just amazing I just sheare my experience beacause it is more important for me how they care for there staff and it is totally same case for guest also when they not care...

Nice quiet place to stay for one night

I had a great time at the hotel, the staff were great, they were very helpful to me, they couldn't do enough for you. they are worth 20 out of 10 for friendliness and helpfulness. the place is kept very clean and the food is great. would recommend anyone to stay there, as I will again.

Not too bad for this price...no reception. Check in via computer in main corridor.

Overall very basic rooms clean and neat & good value for money. Great and friendly staff. Surprised where found out only two set duvets as I booked for 2 adults and child and same with breakfast seems there was some communication error between Accor and hotel. Anyway price reflected everything.

Not bad for a cheap hotel. Even had lager in vending machines which was a big bonus as it was very hot and I was travelling on my motorcycle. Clean and fairly quiet apart from Hungarian truck drivers drinking beer outside of the hotel, but in all honesty couldn't blame them as the temp was over 30 Celsius and would've joined them if I knew any Hungarian hahhaha.

Room was nice, but: It is very difficult to find the hotel, using the street address in the GPS. There is no lift and i my room was at 3rd floor. Wi-Fi was very slow and it didn't work all night long (cheked with laptop and smartphone).

Nice City Hotel Nice location, great breakfast, and a comfy room. Very clean except some dark corners in the shower stall, and the bed linens were so clean that their smell of detergent was a bit overpowering. The room was a bit dark, with no light by the bed - but I grabbed a floor lamp from the hallway that solved the issue.

We booked this hotel last minute on the way to Poland. We only paid £40 a night and were pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel. Room was fairly clean, the bedding and towels were nice and fresh.Polite and friendly stuff. Very close to the transit motorway,so if you looking for a break in your journey this is the place. Highly recommend!

We’ve booked this hotel last minute on the way to UK just to sleep overnight and were very nicely surprised. Generously sized and clean room, friendly hotel staff and amazing breakfast! Definitely recommend.

I had a good stay at this hotel. Rooms were a little dated but suited the building. Boasts sky tv but have very little channels. Breakfast buffet was a winner. Cold items were kept in fridges. Weirdly enough this is not the same for other German hotels that I have stayed in. Had a good nights sleep.

We were in Dortmund for a wedding and stayed here for one evening. Upon arrival the host was very friendly. He could communicate in English and told us everything we might need to know. The hotel has closed WiFi - you receive the password at check-in. The bed was very comfortable and the room standard. The bathroom has lots of mirrors and everything you might need. Hotel is in good location near to train station and shopping area. We had a triple room which is clean. However washroom ventilation fan not working also air conditioner not working, we told hotel but no technician fixing it. Hotel reception Miss Victoria was nice and offer us free breakfast as compensation.  It would be good if there is kettle in the room form boiling water.

It was a very comfortable stay for a family with child and dog. Room was cosy. Breakfast was very nice and nutritious . Downstairs table football for a small family game was also fun.

The apartment hotel didn't even have a kettle, and you had to check out before 11 o'clock. If I wasn't watching the European Cup in Dortmund, I probably wouldn't have booked this hotel at this price.

Stayed for two nights in this nice hotel. Rooms and bathroom are fine. Good beds, lovely spacious shower. Breakfast had something for everyone. From a superbowl to a croissant. Everything equally tasty. Too bad the space is very tight. During busy times you sit with your plate half on your lap eating your breakfast. The staff is also busy keeping the space stocked and clean

This was a great little hotel in the centre of Dortmund. Convenient, clean, quiet, and most importantly, with a great cafe. The cafe opened early (6:30 Monday - Saturday, I think 8 on Sundays), which was very convenient for that first tea/coffee of the day.
