Hotel is in good location near to train station and shopping area. We had a triple room which is clean. However washroom ventilation fan not working also air conditioner not working, we told hotel but no technician fixing it. Hotel reception Miss Victoria was nice and offer us free breakfast as compensation.  It would be good if there is kettle in the room form boiling water.

It was a very comfortable stay for a family with child and dog. Room was cosy. Breakfast was very nice and nutritious . Downstairs table football for a small family game was also fun.

Can I say that this hotel is simply too good! First of all, the location is great. Turn left from the train station and walk for 6-10 minutes. The red sign is easy to find. A very nice hotel, centrally located with great public transport connections. It was clean, and my room even had its own balcony. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a little small but perfectly functional. The only minor improvement would be a mirror in the main room, but otherwise, it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

The good: spacious rooms, balcony, close to city center (with car). The bad: no airco, no fridge, no kettle, paid coffee (coffee machine available in room, you have to buy coffee cups from the reception - 1.50 euro a piece). Parking is a mix: there are some parking spaces of the hotel, but the spaces are tight. Couldn't find an available spot each time, but enough free parking spaces on the street...

Nice hotel in a nice location on the outskirts of Schwerte. The reception is well laid out, staff are attentive and rooms are clean and functional. My only grip is that, there is no blinds in the bathroom so when the sun comes up, it wakes you up irrespective of whether the curtains are closed or not. There is a great pub a hundred metre down the road, and has some fantastic meals available.

Great hotel, everything complete, not much to complain about except the pillows 1 a little small and soft for my taste and the supplement for the dog very excessive.....Parking 1 a little far away. Otherwise the rooms are large and well equipped. The full European breakfast, not just German....

Passing through and with little choice and exorbitant prices everywhere, I came across this magnificent hotel by chance, located not far from the highway. Very large, fully equipped room, same bathroom, nothing to complain about. Hearty and complete breakfast with very good service. I always enjoy staying at the Drees Hotel because the overall picture is very consistent. The staff is very friendly and polite, the food in the evening is very good and the day starts off perfectly with a great breakfast buffet. As a frequent traveler, I have no reason to complain. I can recommend everyone to stay here.

Tried the pop-up beer garden for the European Football Championship and was very pleased. You sit comfortably, the service is attentive, the courtyard is well decorated with umbrellas and market stalls.

Positively surprised . Arrived late evening when dining area was already closed ,asked for any option on buying a tea. Consierge prepared 2 for me and my wife even that wasn't of his duties. Hospitality at the top level.

Stayed here on our drive back to England from Poland. Clean and comfortable hotel well worth the price with free on-site parking. Attached restaurant caters to food allergies (gluten and dairy) and dogs are welcome and treated well (dog bowl and puppy treats in the room). LOVE this hotel. Will definitely stay again on our way through.

Position of a hotel is very good, if one is comming with a car. I think that a rooms are small, withouth a desk, where one can put his laptop to work or to read (book, newspaper or something else). While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...

The location is vrty close to the main train station. The room is very clean. Even though there is not a shower in the room, the shared shower room is very clean and easy to use. The only draw back is it is a bit hot after an afternoon of.sunshine. There is no aircon. I open the window and door for half an hour then it is ok.

Location is excellent with walking distance from themain railway station in Dortmund. Another advantage is that the bus stop for the airport express, which is opposite the railway station on the left hand side is also only a five minute walk. Good hotel, there was a fridge and a safe in the room. Less than 5 minutes to the historical center and the train station. There is nothing to do in Dortmund itself, you can only go to football and that's it.

I recently stayed here for a week and have to say that the staff here are AMAZING!!! Ute was especially helpful. The full breakfast buffet is really good with lots of choice. I will miss the coffee. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable allowing for a good night's sleep.

Very quiet hotel, the rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet is very good, could be less pork and more poultry sausage for those who do not eat pork. The night staff is very helpful when needed. I'll be back next weekend.

Generally, transportation is not convenient

Budget friendly hotel, room was nice. Aircon was loud and didn’t do an awful lot, Bathroom was the best. Bed very comfortable however the bedroom itself wasn’t exactly spacious! Be prepared, no wardrobe or draws of any kind just a rail for hangers. No safe either, bottle of water supplied but room was that disgustingly warm it was warm as there wasn’t a fridge. We stayed 2 nights as part of a package to see Borussia Dortmund play. The hotel is well outside the city centre however it is conveniently located across the road from a light railway station that had a regular service to the city centre, taking approximately 15 minutes. Staff where friendly and helpful at check in and helped us to move room when we were booked into a double instead of a twin room...

The hotel is really nice and the stuff is friendly. There are a few things that can be improved. Tv didn’t work in our room, and the only one solution was to switch the room. Also, even if the hotel is nearby the main road, you cannot hear anything. One big plus is that they have a charging station for electric cars.

The hotel is in a very good location. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the downtown pedestrian street for shopping and dining. The waiter is very nice and the breakfast selection is moderate. The only biggest problem is that the room lacks an electric kettle. Although the room is small, it is very clean and well-equipped, especially the bathroom.

The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel is located near the main fire station and is very convenient to the city center. There is also a very authentic Italian pizza restaurant opposite the hotel. If you stay, you can try it.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Dortmund's main fire station, which is a perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle, but also convenient for transportation; the decoration is stylish, and there is a bar on the first floor; the staff is professional and reserved a quiet room for me, not facing the road, thank you! Clean hotel close to the Westfallenhallen so it was a convenient location

Overall, we were very satisfied. The location was perfect for the Westfalenhalle, the trade fair, and the stadium. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfortable. The €20 per day parking fee is something to consider if you're arriving by car. It was a bit overpriced and noisy due to an event. The staff was relaxed.
