A great hotel with great service and comfortable rooms! I felt very comfortable there! The proximity to the main train station, the subway and the city center is ideal! Everything is within 5 minutes' walk.

Very friendly staff, clean, modern ambience and a really delicious breakfast with a large selection. The mattress was very comfortable and perfect for my back. I would stay there again anytime.

A really great hotel, if not the best in Dortmund. Amazing service, comfortable beds and spacious, modern rooms invite you to linger and work. I always enjoy coming here and am always pleased with the friendly staff.

Overall, the stay at the hotel was very successful. What we didn't like was the lack of a night light in the bathroom. We had to go to the toilet in the dark because there was only one sliding glass door. The lighting was very bright and could not be changed. In addition, the mattresses were relatively hard.

Everything was very good: great location, reception staff, food variety at breakfast, new renovation. Except room cleaning: one day the girl forgot to put water, the other day - to add coffee. Once she did not take the trash and never vacuumed. For 4* hotel it should be done. am I not right?

The good: spacious rooms, balcony, close to city center (with car). The bad: no airco, no fridge, no kettle, paid coffee (coffee machine available in room, you have to buy coffee cups from the reception - 1.50 euro a piece). Parking is a mix: there are some parking spaces of the hotel, but the spaces are tight. Couldn't find an available spot each time, but enough free parking spaces on the street...

All the rooms have unique designs from Arabian nights to Shades of Grey. Most of them with a large golden bathtub and a steam bath/sauna in the room. Also a small balcony is part of the room. We would definitely go back and try some other room design.

Very comfortable hotel and also close to Dortmund airport. The bed was really comfy, inside design is beautiful and the service you get is very good. The parking in the hotel courtyard is limited, however there is plenty of free parking on the curb side around the area. Overall good value for money, definitely recommended.

I always enjoy staying at the Drees Hotel because the overall picture is very consistent. The staff is very friendly and polite, the food in the evening is very good and the day starts off perfectly with a great breakfast buffet. As a frequent traveler, I have no reason to complain. I can recommend everyone to stay here.

Tried the pop-up beer garden for the European Football Championship and was very pleased. You sit comfortably, the service is attentive, the courtyard is well decorated with umbrellas and market stalls.

Positively surprised . Arrived late evening when dining area was already closed ,asked for any option on buying a tea. Consierge prepared 2 for me and my wife even that wasn't of his duties. Hospitality at the top level.

I have been disappointed by this hotel that was introduced to me as the "place to go" in Dortmund. While the restaurant was excellent with a very good service, the rooms revealed to be very basic and not at all at the expected level.

Stayed here on our drive back to England from Poland. Clean and comfortable hotel well worth the price with free on-site parking. Attached restaurant caters to food allergies (gluten and dairy) and dogs are welcome and treated well (dog bowl and puppy treats in the room). LOVE this hotel. It was great stay in Dortmund. The location was awesome to access a lot of area and easy for foreigner like me. not sure about the drinking water in room .. I dont know if they will replace or refill daily but I received only one. I didn't get information abut internet but I found out by myself later. overall was great.

The Esplanade Hotel is a beautiful private oasis in the center of Dortmund. Very good hotel in the city center. The city center and the train station are within walking distance. I especially liked the emphasis on the Ruhr area. The drink was ready in the room "after a hard day at the mine". And don't forget; "Smoking is strictly prohibited in the mine." Had our stay here whilst exhibiting at the ADAC SIM expo. All the staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The rooms and public areas were kept very clean and tidy. We stayed here couple nights. It’s a good hotel. Some stuff is old. The bed is ok. The breakfast is great and rich. There is a sauna and a pool. But the pool was under renovation. There is no fridge in the room, which is not convenient. Otherwise, the room is well equipped. The parking lot is too small. Once we found the cover on the floor after room cleaning. The staff is friendly.

Close to stadium During euro 2024 barely visible sings that roads will be shut. Front desk didn't bother remind the visitors about closing the area no way in and out using car.

Situated right next to the arena of the bvb club. You have a great view of the arena from the windows. The hotel is also very close to a congress center and subway station. Best location in town. Our twin-room (109) was wonderful. We were not disturbed from streetnoise though 1:st floor. 20€ for parking can seem too much, but the location cost.
