Clean hotel close to the Westfallenhallen so it was a convenient location

Yes, there are investments to be made into the rooms. Especially the bathrooms. The carpets and curtains are even horrendous at times. But the entrance is grand, the breakfast absolutely ok, service very friendly and helpful and the location evidently unbeatable when the fair or stadium is your destination. 4 stars is a bit too much, but 3 isn't justified either.

We booked a room with one double bed. When we arrived this was not available. With some difficulties they compensated us with a welcome drink. The room was fine but the shower was a bit blocked so the bad filled itself slowly. Breakfast was good.

Overall, we were very satisfied. The location was perfect for the Westfalenhalle, the trade fair, and the stadium. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfortable. The €20 per day parking fee is something to consider if you're arriving by car. It was a bit overpriced and noisy due to an event. The staff was relaxed.

Hotel is in good location near to train station and shopping area. We had a triple room which is clean. However washroom ventilation fan not working also air conditioner not working, we told hotel but no technician fixing it. Hotel reception Miss Victoria was nice and offer us free breakfast as compensation.  It would be good if there is kettle in the room form boiling water.

It was a very comfortable stay for a family with child and dog. Room was cosy. Breakfast was very nice and nutritious . Downstairs table football for a small family game was also fun.

Borussia Dortmund Game - April 25 Perfect location if staying to watch a Borussia Dortmund game. 20 walk to stadium. Lovely facilities and nice pool. Food good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff who booked taxi’s and were able to give some travel advice.

I asked for a quiet room when booking and at check in and was put next to a noisy lift. I checked in at 3pm while the hotel was quiet but as it got later the lift got busier plus a fan in the bathroom started whining and couldn't be stopped so I asked to be moved. Stayed two nights in October 2023. I could describe it as a business hotel, but it is actually a bit nicer than that. Quiet location, outside of the city's noise, at the edge of the huge park. Getting there with public transportation requires about 10 min walking from the U Bahn station. After getting to and back from the hotel several times, I still could not figure out the correct path from the station...

We booked this hotel for a Euro 2024 match and it ended being a great choice. The staff at this hotel is super friendly and they genuinely care about your stay making sure you have everything you need. Had our stay here whilst exhibiting at the ADAC SIM expo. All the staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The rooms and public areas were kept very clean and tidy. We stayed here couple nights. It’s a good hotel. Some stuff is old. The bed is ok. The breakfast is great and rich. There is a sauna and a pool. But the pool was under renovation. There is no fridge in the room, which is not convenient. Otherwise, the room is well equipped. The parking lot is too small. Once we found the cover on the floor after room cleaning. The staff is friendly.

A large family hotel dedicated to Borussia and ideal for an overnight stay when you are visiting the stadium. Stayed here November 2021 for a wedding. Comfortable rooms, and a breakfast set up 2nd to none. I hadn't eaten a proper German breakfast in years, and this was was like hitting the mother load. Looking forward to next stay.

I always enjoy staying at the Drees Hotel because the overall picture is very consistent. The staff is very friendly and polite, the food in the evening is very good and the day starts off perfectly with a great breakfast buffet. As a frequent traveler, I have no reason to complain. I can recommend everyone to stay here.

Stayed here on our drive back to England from Poland. Clean and comfortable hotel well worth the price with free on-site parking. Attached restaurant caters to food allergies (gluten and dairy) and dogs are welcome and treated well (dog bowl and puppy treats in the room). LOVE this hotel. Positively surprised . Arrived late evening when dining area was already closed ,asked for any option on buying a tea. Consierge prepared 2 for me and my wife even that wasn't of his duties. Hospitality at the top level.

Nice hotel in a nice location on the outskirts of Schwerte. The reception is well laid out, staff are attentive and rooms are clean and functional. My only grip is that, there is no blinds in the bathroom so when the sun comes up, it wakes you up irrespective of whether the curtains are closed or not. There is a great pub a hundred metre down the road, and has some fantastic meals available.

Very large, fully equipped room, same bathroom, nothing to complain about. Hearty and complete breakfast with very good service. We stayed 3 nights over a weekend in April in this very nice small hotel. We had a large room in the new building next to the old hosue with the restaurant. The interior including the bathroom was very modern and worked very well. Very little noise from other guests or from the traffic. Breakfast was traditionally German, fresh and delicious.

Not bad for a cheap hotel. Even had lager in vending machines which was a big bonus as it was very hot and I was travelling on my motorcycle. Clean and fairly quiet apart from Hungarian truck drivers drinking beer outside of the hotel, but in all honesty couldn't blame them as the temp was over 30 Celsius and would've joined them if I knew any Hungarian hahhaha.

Room was nice, but: It is very difficult to find the hotel, using the street address in the GPS. There is no lift and i my room was at 3rd floor. Wi-Fi was very slow and it didn't work all night long (cheked with laptop and smartphone).
