Where to stay in Durbach

Set in a stunning location in hills covered by vineyards. Room could have felt a bit more cozy but it is a chain hotel. Wellness area has sauna, steam room and pool. It's pretty good but lacked a member of staff to welcome you and explain things. Evening meal was good, breakfast buffet was also good. All in all, a good place to stay but for the price I was expecting something feeling a bit more luxurious

The hotel has easy access. Free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was okay, looked like it was a former hospital but nether the less it was comfortable. The breakfast was great, good choice of hot and cold. The hotel is within walking distance to the village centre.

Ritter is by far the best hotel in the region. With an excellent service, rooms and restaurant you won't regret the choice. Plan some extra time to enjoy the breakfast buffet and the spa before you go and discover one of the most beautiful regions in Germany.

Off the beaten track but well worth the scenic drive to stay here. A large family room on the top floor had all the facilities that we required. The stairs were a bit of a grind to carry the bags up though. The restaurant was reasonably well priced and the food was good. We were also made feel special by the staff.

Stayed there last night as a family of five. Such gracious hosts. The room was beautiful but the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and served at a time that suits you. It was a superb spread. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and returning ourselves.

Waren abends zum Essen, haben im Nebenraum gesessen, da im Gastraum eine größere Gesellschaft mit Buffett gefeiert hat. Nice location: only 25 minutes by foot from the main train station. The room was clean, having own bathroom. No noise during the night. Good breakfast in the morning - I would advice to take one. We were on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in search of a good bourgeois food. I'm looking for the Flädelesuppe and a salad with strips of Turkey decided. The soup was power with a good beef found. A delightful, character - full place in the middle of the town. Offenburg itself was a lovely town and the hotel fitted in well. The room was big, comfortable, quirky and had a lovely aspect with trees outside and the (quite noisy!) Trains line! The staff that I met were very friendly and helpful and the cafe directly below was fantastic.

Hotel: corner room overlooking the bridge is spacious but has very squeaky floorboards. No wardrobe, just a hanging rail, although space would easily allow for more furniture. Nice large bathroom. Can't agree with the train noise reported by others. Yes it's there, but we got used to it and it does get quieter from about 10pm.

Very cozy rooms with great beds and clean and fresh enviornment! The breakfast was well worth the money with alot of different choices! Location is absolutly great, half or the staff can speak english. Smoking rooms! ;) the smoking rooms are very outdated and worn, but hell its a smoking room! We stayed three nights in the rooftop suite. Absolutely beautiful decor with attention to details and immaculately maintained. The mix of history with a modern touch makes for a truly unique hotel. Parking for our electric vehicle made charging easy for a flat $20 per charge. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was delicious!

We booked a room at the last minute but everything was fine. We got a small but beautiful and clean room!

Room ok for the price, however the room doesn't smell great, the AC didn't work and the blankets were way to small for tall people (185cm over). Nonetheless this was to be somewhat expected for such a low price!

The bad: we had to pay extra for parking at the hotel & it is not "given" - at €10/night. The ugly: don't delay eating your evening meal, or you might be asked to vacate your table before you are finished.

Room-key did not work after breakfast, got late 2 a meeting because of the problem with it, breakfast and lunch was good but no signs of what the food was or if it was laktos/gluten-free. Room itself was good fresh.
