If you want to explore the castle of Wartburg this is THE place to stay. Very romantic and beautiful location with views of the Thüringer forest. Nice room with the authentic feeling of being in a castle. Good restaurant offering local specialities. The staff helped with transportation of luggage from the parking lot to the hotel which is on top of a very steep hill.

Best hotel ! View is spectacular and obviously the location speaks for itself. But then staff is super nice, rooms are cozy, fireplace room invited to hang out all nice basically ... great experience !

Was only to the restaurant but the service was good and so was the food albeit a little expensive but to be expected. Hotel itself we found was really something else! A beautiful building and a wonderful location!

If you dream to spend a night in a real castle where story was written, you should definitely stay at this hotel. The view is amazing and the service is good!

I had an excellent stay at your property. The food was outstanding. The room was beautiful. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.
My lone piece of constructive criticism is in regard to drinks at dinner. I stayed at the property as a part of the Christmas package. It would have been nice to have at least one beverage (wine, beer, mixed drink) and sparkling water for the evening included with the meal.
