Attentive and good general service, however in the rooms there are only channels in German and the breakfast has little variety (no fried eggs, no beans, no Nutella,...). Free snack service, however, only cakes and little variety.

Somethimes everything clicks - and this hotel ticks all the boxes. Light is just right at the chamber, a fireplace in your room (although for safety fake), floorheating at your toilet / bathroom, free minibar, perfect breakfast.. excellent spa and very capable staff. I was pretty impressed!

Excellent hotel. Great staff and close to everything. If there is one thing it is that the rooms are quite loud and I did not sleep well because of my noisy neighbours. I am also unsure about the cleanliness as there were black hairs on the floor of my bathroom. I am sure this is just a one-time happening and not regular because the hotel is nice.

Great place! But because of Corona restrictions only one counter available at reception. It takes ages before you finally get to the counter. Rooms are available are only after 15:00 so if you arrive earlier you have to wait.

We had three rooms, one for special needs, a normal double bed and the family room. The first was fantastic, extremely spacious and we had no trouble navigating with the wheelchair. The second was super comfortable and met our needs, the third was smaller than i expected however the bunkbeds were big enough even for an adult, also the top bunk had protection to stop falling out. We were really impressed with the hotel! Room really nice and clean. The only thing we didn't like that much, there was no way for us to pay for the room in cash. Had to pay by card, otherwise we would not have been able to move into the room or would otherwise have had to spend a few hours in the cold. Otherwise really great!

In progress, not all rooms are available yet. Rooms are modern and unbeatable in terms of price. I was very well filled. The only drawback is the parking facilities. Tip there are enough parking spaces available at the adult education center.

Currently, best hotel in Emden. Rooms not so impressive, guest phones don't always ring, internet sometimes spotty- however, nice location, terrific restaurant w buffet breakfast included, expansive sauna complex w rooftop relaxation area (open till 10p.m.), and wonderful staff. Also quality bikes for hire, which I whole-heartedly recommend for getting around Emden.

We stayed for two night and had a wonderful stay at the Upstalsboom Parkhotel in Emden. The reception was very friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. Our room was clean, roomy and very comfortable. The food was delicious, fresh, plentiful and the buffet had a good selection of items to choose from. We enjoyed using the outdoor seating area for a nightcap. We had a very nice stay!

As an emergency solution, I checked in spontaneously and treated me very courteously. I had a great room and a forgotten charger cable was sent home. Great house, great service. Whenever I'm in Emden again, I'll be back.

Nice hotel, big rooms, parking lot, bathroom with bathtub, TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, water cooker with couple of tea bags and coffee powder. Fabulous restaurant, lovely staff, we had a balcony room and a beautiful day so could sit out overlooking the water. Fridge full of beer and drinks on the landing with an honesty box.

Had breakfast "Kaffee und Kuche" here whilst on a bus trip from the Dutch company "Paulusma Reizen". Was very satisfied with the food and drinks, service was great and restroom usage was free, very clean building and great staff.

One really good traditional hotel and restaurant in Emden. Food was really good. Room was big and clean. Breakfast good and generous. Nice staff . Recommend it if u stay in Emden.

Friendly stuff, clean rooms, centrally located. Good breakfast. Windows are a bit draughty. Noisy from the street and neighbours. Cigarette smell in the floor.

The hotel room is spacious and clean. The price-performance ratio is right. There is even a small cooking facility in the room. There is no personal contact with the service and no breakfast. Still, it's well organized. You can park for free in front of the hotel.

The hotel is located in a small shopping park. There is a call button to open the door upon arrival, then the front door should be opened remotely. That doesn't always work. We couldn't choose to have breakfast at the sister hotel's buffet - it was served in our room. Completely sufficient, but the large selection is missing. Age-related definitely blemishes, but clean and very friendly staff. The restaurant is very good. The fish plate was delicious and the price list is more than cheap for the quality. If there is no table available in the restaurant, other facilities are recommended, which can be seen leisurely. All in all, it was a weekend that was worth it. Thanks very much

A great hotel in old walls. Sure that not everything is as fine as in noble shops, but you should know that beforehand. If something is broken or not working in the room, we will take care of it directly. It's also very tasty and the portions are quite large. We'll definitely be back sometime

Nice traditional farmhouse hotel. It is definitely not a fancy place, but has all needed basics for a comfortable overnight rest. Breakfast is available. The restaurant serves dinner, and there is an outdoor beer garden.

Its a quiet small vintage hotel. Rooms are huge and costs really cheap for Emden. Breakfast is okay. The only promblem here is there is no wifi Hotspot for guests and mobile connection is really bad. awesome tasty fish is Restaurant.

The hotel is not in the city centre but nearer to other activities and suited better this way for our purposes. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff ready to help. They have a couple of houses, we stayed in the original. The rooms have been renovated and if not fancy, they were nice and comfortable. The bathroom was really good. We drove up to Emden from Geneva with our sailplane. We had to go through customs nearby in the morning. So, we stopped at the Haus Wittwer for the night. The hosts were very helpful. They let us come back to the hotel in the morning after customs for a shower and breakfast. I put 4 stars only because its pretty noisy on evening time outside hotel especially at weekends (2 night clubs nearby) and because there was no air conditioning in my room i kept my window always open. On the other hand located in centre of old Emden town, lots of restaurants nearby, 2 supermarkets and rooms are very clean dedicated wifi. Looks like typical family hotel with good hospitality...So...

Modern very new looking rooms with space and wet room style showers. Right in the middle of the town in square full of bars and restaurants but quiet inside. (Stairs no lift if you need access)

Fantastic if you want a museum room as accommodation with the worst workmanship to slap the en suite together. Shower rail was held up with fishing wire. Good parking.

Friendly service for checkout, and facilitated a very late check in, but hotel is very dated and tired throughout. Room was very cold on arrival (I don't normally get cold), and some plug outlets in the room weren't working so I had to remove lamp sockets to get a working plug by the bed. Breakfast was decent but so-so.
