A very nicely decorated restaurant, super friendly and flexible staff. Although not reserved, we were served in a friendly and courteous manner in the restaurant. The food tasted great. A visit is highly recommended.

The house met our expectations. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The two-bedroom apartment offers a lot of space. The restaurant is of good quality. In my opinion, the house is well suited for hikers.

This is the third time we've stayed and eaten here for the Rennsteiglauf. This year, too, we had nothing to complain about or criticize. The rooms were clean, the dinner was delicious, the breakfast was extensive, and the service was always friendly and helpful! We'd love to come back next year!

Highly recommended: nice reception, clean room with everything you need, including several pillows. In the beer garden/inn there is a wide selection of dishes and friendly service. Breakfast very extensive. Vending machine for drinks and snacks accessible 24/7. Great starting point for hikes, bike and cross-country ski tours.

Very friendly reception. Generally friendly staff. The food in the beer garden was great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom too. Beds were also very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night but would book again immediately if we were in the area again. Friendly hospitality is required here. Nice rooms and cozy holiday apartments make your stay very pleasant. And the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. I'm looking forward to the next time.

Were there with a biker group. The rooms are simple, but perfectly adequate and very clean and tidy. In terms of price, you absolutely cannot complain. The owner is really interested in the well-being of his guests and tries to make a lot possible. Food (half board) was excellent. Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Super nice area. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was very nice, you feel welcome and you get everything you need. Our highlight (besides the great host) was the shoe dryer :). The room was clean and comfortable enough, local tips were free, and breakfast was a great way to start the day. So saying goodbye to the Thuringian Forest was a bit difficult, but the memory is saved. So, the bottom line: you can stay well there.

Highly recommend this gem of a hotel which sits on the edge of a stunning pine forest. Lady in reception spoke limited English but went out of her way to assist us and make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was simple but very tasty and fresh. Good coffee!

There were three of us on the Rennsteig and we arrived relatively late and were immediately welcomed with open arms and a very warm welcome. The food and hospitality were very, very good.

A nice little cozy guesthouse right in the village on the Rennsteig. Good option for an overnight stay on the Rennsteig tour. Also very suitable for a longer stay in the Thuringian Forest. Rooms are very practical. Breakfast and dinner were just perfect. Very friendly hosts. Wasn't my last visit.

We were at a family celebration in an extra large room for events in the hotel which is right on the Rennsteig. Outstanding hot and cold buffet, every extra request was catered for. The hotel is a bit dated from the outside, the staff is very courteous and friendly and helpful. A very nice swimming pool with a warm temperature invites you to swim. The steam sauna is great but lacks a good scent, We spent 3 wonderful days there and thank the management of the hotel and the staff!

Beautiful location, quiet and close to nature. From here you can start hiking tours but also motorbike tours in the surrounding area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. You can also order food from them and then eat it together with them. That was unusual for me but a nice experience. We spent nice evenings. The rooms had everything you need I can only recommend it.

Very nice stay as an overnight stop at a Lea concert in the natural theater. It's only about a 25 minute walk through the forest. Super nice, helpful and attentive hosts and very tasty breakfast. Would love to come back.

The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

We were with our granddaughter from October 26th to October 30th. a guest there. So, we were absolutely satisfied with the staff, the equipment, which of course was older, but comfortable. The food was freshly prepared and the prices were reasonable. The breakfast in particular was delicious and sufficient. You can always complain!

Very nice inn. Very good tasty food. The boss is very friendly and takes care of his guests. We stayed here. The rooms were ok. The breakfast was served (due to the corona), everything was plentiful and fresh from the butcher (the sausage). We could park and load the bikes in the garage.

We arrived very early, but were able to get into our room right away which was much appreciated. Friendly staff. A large room and beautiful bathroom with both shower and tub. Heated towel racks were nice on a chilly summer day! The restaurant was quite lovely, and decorated our table beautifully to celebrate our anniversary (as I had noted on the dinner reservation). It's an amazing place. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food is very good and all facilities are very nice. The only critism. The pool table needs a bit of tlc. The gym is very small and limited.
