A good hotel for people attending conferences but not great for tourists due to it's countryside location.

The staff are nice and room is clean

Great location and it has a small swimming pool which I like it.

It's not very good for big groups as there is no way a bus can normally get in and out of the parking lot. The entrance needs some work in that regard. There is only one lift which is also terrible for big groups This one seems to be a European thing: the shower box doesn't close all the way through the other wall, so when you have a shower you also shower the whole bathroom as well

I use this Mercure as a base when travelling to work in Germany and it's always been a welcoming, friendly and quiet place to unwind after travelling / working. I've marked the location down for the benefit of others, for me and the office I need to visit whilst in Germany it's perfect, however some may find it a little too far out of the city centre. Do your research!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It offers excellent value for the price! The location is convenient, with easy access to the city centre via tram. The breakfast was amazing—plenty of options and very fresh. However, dinner was a bit underwhelming as it seemed pre-prepared and heated up. The bathroom was not well cleaned, the toilet seat loose, double bet not double, no bed side table, no bed site lamp.

Nice bed, aircondition, garage and EV charger. Ok stay. The hotel has old standard, but is clean and the bed is good. Our view was another roof not very exiting. Simple but ok breakfast. The hotel has underground garage and also possibilty to charge our EV. work excellent, and we started the next morning with fully charged battery (both car and people). All in all a ok stopover, but not 4 stars in...

Nice hotel outside of Cologne I stayed at this hotel for five nights, in this small town for a wedding. The hotel is clean, pretty and comfortable. I was very happy with the a/c in teh room...really good for Europe standards. Breakfast was awesome. I appreciated the affordable parking. Check in after hours was easy.

Great hotel in ideal location by a tram line into the city centre.

Nice room, but no bar and expensive parking. Nice hotel in the area of the Neustad (by U-Bahn). The hotel bar is closed, so nothing to do in the evening, At ********** it says it's open, but it isn't. Also parking is not € 25 a day but an expensive € 28 for a day. Room was OK, but the other things dissapointing.

Ideally located for attending a 1. FC Köln game. The stadium can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes or conveniently reached by public transport.

Nice hotel near the Rheinenergiestadion, great for watching football. The tram is 2 minutes away. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. We'll be happy to come back.

Hotel with good connections. Line 1 takes you quickly into the city. A decent hotel with a good breakfast.

The price for the rooms is not justified. Simple steel frame beds, Pizza is one food that can be ordered frozen.

It provides for the lovingly arranged Breakfast buffet, and for pretty flowers at the Breakfast table, also takes care of extra needs and is very helpful. It also has a sense of Humor and is sure to enhance by their presence the somewhat dreary and sterile...

Ok stay for a night short visit. Staff he was very kind service mind. Room was very big clean. We got everything we want. Breakfast is ok. Electric charger for Car is provided.

This hotel feels like stepping into a time machine. It is outdated and old, but has a charm. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly. Plenty of parking by the hotel. Great place for passing by and spending the night, but if you're looking for something close to a city - this isn't the place for you.

Nice hotel to stop a night while traveling through Germany. Has free parking. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Simple but good breakfast.

Good hotel Rooms were spacious and clean. It was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast may be standard, but it is adequate considering the price. Parking spaces are large and free. The only thing I have to say is that the internet wasn't good enough, so I have to give it a few stars. However, I think it is a good hotel.

We happened on this hotel by accident. We were scheduled for another hotel and the booking was confused. We contacted this hotel on line. In spite of the World Cup Games they were able to provide us with a great room overlooking a beautiful garden. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The beds were new and we rested well. There was no air conditioning buy the situation of the room provided...

Had a comfy room with huge bathroom. Food is delicious same as Jager and local beer.

Very nice place and location, easy access to the city center, though it's not very close. Vert good restaurant with many delicious meat dishes.

The staff is friendly. Food you can recommend. Wi-Fi is free of charge. The equipment has already come into the years. Unfortunately, there is no Elevator. It has to be room in the 2. Floor get, you have to carry the Luggage of the entire flight of stairs. For people with complaints of hip, knee and heart problems it is difficult. The entrance into the shower was also high. It has such, or similar...

Cosy, at a Local level would be assumed to be the Ambeinte rather in more rural areas and in the ratio of price/performance competitiveness. Who has enough chain of Hotell rooms brand of Swedish Furniture in a living here-stay accommodation.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and good room service. But a little far from Köln center and they don't provide coffee or tea bags it's a first for me !!

Usual ibis which is located conveniently right at the highway intersection. It is the cheapest one in cologne usually and one of few with free spacious parking. So getting here with car is without a problem. However the nearest public transport station is half a hour walk away. And if you prefer to eat something else than fast food you will have to drive/walk as well. Room itself could be cleaner...

Good value for money, good location (5 min walk from tram stop 7) which goes directly into town, relatively clean.

Comfortable Ibis budget hotel with convenient location for the motorway. Breakfast was simple but nice and staff were welcoming. The location is surrounded by car retailers and industrial type units but there are a variety of fast food and better restaurants within a mile. Rooms were a bit hot bit beds were comfortable and very clean.

The hotel was majorly overpriced but this was due to the euros. The location was good and it has transport into the city centre nearby and was easy to use. The hotel was clean and quiet during the night. Found the receptionist to be warm and welcoming into the hotel on arrival.

Very clean room, great hospitality, courteous service at breakfast. Scrambled or fried eggs are individually and freshly prepared.

A nice small hotel with well equipped and very new rooms. Everything was there, even a Nesspresso machine, a bottle of water and a mobile air conditioner. The connection to Cologne is great. An overnight stay here is highly recommended. The reservation and check-in also worked very well.

Friendly staff, extremely clean, gives a feel of luxury. Only downside (therefore the 4 stars and not 5) is that the WIFI is not working or working for a really short period of time

We stayed as a family and when we booked the room, it wasn't clear that children under 12 are expected to stay in the same bed as the parents. So basically, there is 1 bed. We had no idea about this when booking as every other time we book for 3, it is made very clear the setup of the room. Some brands even tell you it isn't a family room. When questionning this, the staff on the desk were rude and...

A good hotel at moderate prices in a top location in the west of Cologne. Rooms are big enough, clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous, nice and friendly. A very good alternative to the crowded hotel at the exhibition center in Cologne.

The room was clean our kids really enjoyed the upstairs sleeping area. One lady apart of the staff was kind of rude

at one time I am sure this property was really swag but now old and outdated however the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and the staff was excellent!!!! it was just a short walk from the train station and a short cut through the train station takes you to the Dom, museums and restaurants and shopping. if you are coming in on a train and want a convenient affordable place to stay...

The smell is bad at the entrance, no possibility to check-out through the ATM, showers need some repairs, but for the price overall it is ok.

Small rooms and shower has only hot water. But it's a cheap stay, if you're only in at night, it's acceptable.

We spent one night at the hotel without breakfast for the second time. The rooms are functional and clean. The convenient online check-in and check-out are good. The reception is staffed, however, and always helpful and competent. We will stay there again.

Early check at 2.30pm for 15 euros, outrageous. Regular check at 3pm. Was an emergency because of an event. Quick change of clothes.

It is a functional and comfortable hotel on the outskirts of the city. You will need a car to get downtown. There is free parking and the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.
