The price for the rooms is not justified. Simple steel frame beds, Pizza is one food that can be ordered frozen.

Very clean room, great hospitality, courteous service at breakfast. Scrambled or fried eggs are individually and freshly prepared.

A nice small hotel with well equipped and very new rooms. Everything was there, even a Nesspresso machine, a bottle of water and a mobile air conditioner. The connection to Cologne is great. An overnight stay here is highly recommended. The reservation and check-in also worked very well.

Friendly staff, extremely clean, gives a feel of luxury. Only downside (therefore the 4 stars and not 5) is that the WIFI is not working or working for a really short period of time

It's not very good for big groups as there is no way a bus can normally get in and out of the parking lot. The entrance needs some work in that regard. There is only one lift which is also terrible for big groups This one seems to be a European thing: the shower box doesn't close all the way through the other wall, so when you have a shower you also shower the whole bathroom as well

I use this Mercure as a base when travelling to work in Germany and it's always been a welcoming, friendly and quiet place to unwind after travelling / working. I've marked the location down for the benefit of others, for me and the office I need to visit whilst in Germany it's perfect, however some may find it a little too far out of the city centre. Do your research!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It offers excellent value for the price! The location is convenient, with easy access to the city centre via tram. It was an ok hotel but I think the amenities could have been better. No drawers and also no body cream were slightly off putting but everything else was ok.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was good. I only had a concern about the safety since you can just walk in from the street and take the elevator or stairs to access the suites. No cameras in the hallways. As a woman traveling alone, it didn't feel safe.

Perfect location for a stopover en route from the UK to Austria. Good breakfast, nice rooms, good service. Only issue we had was that one of our 2 rooms stank of smoke (yes it's a non-smoking hotel). It was too late into the night to change rooms when we arrived and we slept well, but not ideal.

Excellent hotel. Easy to find, friendly staff and good amenities. What else is needed for a recharging resting on a long travel.

Room was very nice and clean. The things that bother me was the very small bathroom. When you went to the toilet, your knees are against the wall in front of you. I’m 1,68 tall, but someone bigger than me should have a problem here. The same for the shower. The breakfast is basic. But when the fruitsalade was empty, they didn’t refilled it.

The prices were very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. It’s a great location if you are with a car. Disadvantages: There is no public transport facility in the vicinity. Although the breakfast is supposed to be till 10:00hrs, many of the items are over by 9:00 !!

Normal hotel, nothing special, but serves its purpose. It was clean and we had a good nights rest after a long day in Phantasialand. There is a bar downstairs, open until 10pm which I can recommend. Breakfast is good with enough variety although I missed the sausages. Breakfast is at 8am in weekends, but it’s better to wait at least until 8:15 otherwise it’s too crowded.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel for a daytrip to Phantasialand, which is a 15 minute ride away. We could enter easily at 11 pm, because of the code by email to get the key. The room was very spacious and clean! The breakfast was extensive and yummy. Thank you very much :-)

We stayed as a family and when we booked the room, it wasn't clear that children under 12 are expected to stay in the same bed as the parents. So basically, there is 1 bed. The smell is bad at the entrance, no possibility to check-out through the ATM, showers need some repairs, but for the price overall it is ok.

Small rooms and shower has only hot water. But it's a cheap stay, if you're only in at night, it's acceptable.

Nice cosy hotel with average service. Limited breakfast range. No lift in the hotel so if you get rooms on the second or third floor you have to carry yours own luggage up. Also the room sizes vary a lot, it’s totally your luck if you get a normal room or a small one! The Bahnstr. Tram stop is just in front of the hotel.

Were at the concert in Cologne and have the night before after a Location is searched in the you can good and yet inexpensive food. Everything here was given. Great Service , good food and inexpensive. I can only recommend it.

Cheap and clean, worked well as a place to sleep while driving. Staff was helpful even when we arrived outside of reception opening times.
