Reviews
Disadvantages: There is no public transport facility in the vicinity. Although the breakfast is supposed to be till 10:00hrs, many of the items are over by 9:00 !!
The rooms do not have A/C, so it can be a little warm at night, but the area is quiet, so opening the window will not keep you awake.
The lower rooms come with external electric blinds, so the room can be pitch black. It's one of the few places in the area that does.
The bar is open in the evening, and the breakfast has plenty to choose from.
It is the second time I have stayed (work), but I have already booked another stay later.
Liked · The room is very clean, spotless. All furniture are new and well taken care of
Disliked · There were smell of pig farm all the time. Most of the time we can smell pig waste in the air and when there were strong wind, it was unbearable. When we first arrived at the property, there were super strong smell.
Big bad point are staffs attitude, they are like prisoner guards except the lady that welcome us for checkin, she accommodated us what we have asked. The second day at the breakfast, there was a grumpy lady who was aggressive and yelling at us and kept checking if we stole food or not. She brought a croissant one by one every 10 minutes so that we cannot eat too much. We were 4 people, so we had to wait a while to get all croissants. In the end we couldn’t enjoy at all the breakfast
Also you have to pay everything even for fresh water. No bottles at the rooms like other hotels.
Who is the 90s and no value on Aesthetics, is here in good hands. The only plus point: the room was clean.
we did not like:
Smoking staff in front of the hotel entrance
No kettle in the room
The room was very small, and contained only a bed, a table and two chairs, on the table "stand" a TV.
The curtains did not darken the room, so that the road all the night lights lit up the room.
A bedside lamp was broken (could not be claimed, as the reception made 22 PM)
The bed had nothing to Lean on, behind the bed, an empty shelf was so that you could view from the bed, TV, very uncomfortable.
The room appeared to us to be unloving and boring, no decorations, no pictures on the wall (with the exception of the fire escape plan).
The sound insulation in the Hotel is abysmal, the window open impossible. You can hear everything, footsteps, doors, the water, the haze of deductions from the neighboring rooms..
The most annoying was the Internet. In our room there was no network, only in the stairwell. My question to the front Desk, the receptionist with the comment incited from me, I would have entered no password. After I had done this, I had, of course, still no network. On my renewed demand, it said tersely that it couldn't be that there are 20 Hotspots in the house, and diagonally across our room would be. If there is, however, a guest would have the Hotspot away and instead, his electric toothbrush should is plugged in, I would have just been "unlucky" with the Internet had, what I felt the answer in an unfriendly and totally unprofessional. This Hotel is unfortunately not yet arrived in the year 2015, when it comes to "modern" Services. If this is not disturbing, you will be lifted to 100 Euro for the night. Who tried other Hotels in Hürth (Ramada, averse) will find that he gets for less money with much better Service.
Clean and spacious, with the Flair of the early Nineties.
To do sense, with a country hotel for the Breakfast ok and the rooms are very large.
