Arrived at 5 PM. The check-in process took 30 minutes even without a long line. room is ok, but small and definitely outdated. We did not have pillows or sheets for sofa bed. No one picked up the phone while calling downstairs so we had to go ask for the bedding. Pool is nice. No fitness center and parking is not free. Location is nice and close to a train station. Overall, depends on what you're looking for.

I had a fantastic stay at Novotel Freiburg! The hotel room was impeccably clean and well-equipped, and the complimentary daily mini bar refill was a thoughtful touch. Booking a room for four people was a breeze, and the spacious accommodations exceeded our expectations. The overall experience was top-notch, making our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hotel is central but loud. Outdated. Stayed for 3 days in the Premium Room with minibar consumption included and the refrigerator in the room did not function. Informed the staff and was not fixed even after we checked out. Sauna is not working either. Informed the staff every day for 3 days but no use. Breakfast is not that good, not worth the price.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with this hotel. We paid for 2 rooms as we are 5 and they gave us a room with one bed and the sofá. The extra bed was very uncomfortable and not appropriated for a 4-star hotel. We asked the manager to put another blanket over the extra bed but told us the bed was perfect and refused to help us. As for the staff, in general is very kind except for the manager. I recommend you to take a look at the rooms before paying the booking just in case.

Had an amazing one night stay with them. The hotel location is great, the staff is super helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, breakfast was good, bar was lovely. Above all they really made our special celebration very special, thank you very much. I must say one of the best Novotel experiences we’ve had in the last few years!!!!

Very nice staff and very central.
We have a family room and the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable for two kids, small and with mattresses so tiny that you feel the spring and it hurts all in the morning.
The bathroom has a strong smell of urine. The plugs to charge the telephone are not close to the beds.
The price is relatively good but 4 stars for such rooms are definitely not appropriate.

This hotel is within reach of transport centres as well as close to the charming old town which houses decorated streets to stroll along with boutique stores as well as large stores . The location is superb from the view point of any first time tourist to this beautiful town.
The services offered by the hotel staff were very prompt, professional and courteous.
Overall it was a very enjoyable experience for me and my family and we would like to come back to this hotel if there be an opportunity ever in the future.

Hotel looks stunning & modern only from outside; the rooms inside are too old, too used furniture; lack of proper lighting, stinky bad smell from the bathroom.
Air cooling in room is not good during hot temperatures outside 😕

Simple cold food; basic variety of breads, boiled eggs & cornflakes;
Wish they could serve freshly made hot vegetable egg omelettes

All the closed services like sauna and pool make it hard to rate anything well . But frieberg Is a hip cool town
The staff is nice - this is NOT there fault at all.

The rooms although not as modern, are very clean and with a great selection of snacks, drinks, and coffee. The room has a water cooker, TV, & refrigerator. One minor dislike is the cost for the garage but hey atleast there is parking. The bar, restaurant, and pool/sauna did not visit yet.
