Where to stay in Freiburg

Great location A clean, comfortable and friendly hotel in an excellent location for exploring the beautiful old city of Freiburg. I would be very happy to stay here again. The room is fairly small, but there’s plenty of room for what is needed.

Overall, it's a nice hotel considering price-value. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. The stay there was as it should be. Everything was fine, well cared, and cosy. I would like to thank specifically to Siman (hope I have written it well). He is one of the hotel staff, and worked mainly in the restaurant during my stay. He is kind, hillarious and very professional. His treatment to us was perfect, and very personal, and we are very thankful for it.

Booked a room for 69 Euros. It's 2.5 km from city centre but with nice quite garden and rooms. Tremendous staff, large clean rooms. I did not take breakfast but it looks nice. Free coffee and great snacks snd beers like Riegele

The hotel is very quietly located in a newly built residential/office complex. The rooms are okay, unfortunately lacking a wardrobe, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.

We spent a few days in Freiburg. The hotel is quiet and close to an S-Bahn station. Across the street is a bakery and several restaurants. We stayed at La Kantina and were very satisfied. The breakfast was okay. Nothing special, but everything was there. There was always enough space. The rooms are well-equipped. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend a stay.

The room is quite comfortable, and the transportation is very convenient. There is a small park outside, and the subway is just ahead. I live near the client's company, which is only 400m away. It's a very good experience.

The hotel is about 12 minutes away on tram from the central station and closed to the tram station and supermarkets. Breakfast is in good variety and food are to its standards for a 3-star hotel. The room is clean with renovated bathroom.

The location is a little far from the train station, close to the university, and only takes a few minutes to walk from S2 three or four stations. The environment, food, and small indoor gym are just right for running on the treadmill when it rains. It is very convenient for meetings in the morning, and the breakfast is very rich

The hotel is comfortable and quiet.

No issues! There is a Kaufland opposite, and the Aparthotel itself is very easily reachable by tram with a stop immediately outside the door. The surrounding area is a bit sterile but it's not far to go into the city. Staff very helpful.

The overall room size was quite good – spacious enough to be comfortable for a holiday stay. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and the charming city center. However, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The pantry area inside the room could be better equipped. Adding a bread toaster would be a small but very helpful upgrade for guests...

Great stay. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen I didn't make full use of but all the basics were there. The bed folds into the wall to create a large open space with a sofa. Lots of storage space. We stayed in this hotel for one night during a road trip through southern Germany. The room price was very competitive, and we felt very comfortable there during our stay. Not a Bad Place to Stay in Freiburg Beds we about 8" off the floor which made it difficult to get up.

I was there with a group for lunch just before 12pm, after that you get overrun. 😅My pizza was super nice, thin crust and crispy. The prices are really good, the service friendly and quick.

Spacious room, but could use a renovation. The flooring was carpet and had some old stains. I would suggest to remove the carpet and replace it with something easier to clean. The rooms are not air conditioned and can be very warm so we had to keep the windows open all night and put up with lots of noise from passersby and delivery trucks early in the morning. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station which is very convenient if you arrive and/or leave by train. The hotel is close to the center of the city so you can explore right from your hotel. The receptionist and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The room is very large, the living room and bedroom are separated, the kitchen utensils and oven are fully equipped for cooking, and the windows have automatic roller blinds to completely block the light. The location is in the city center, and there are good restaurants downstairs. It is very close to DM and Edeka, and the station is just outside the door. I will stay here next time I come to Freiburg...

Great location. Short walk from train station and town centre. Very clean rooms. Free laundry service. Push on the kitchen cabinet doors to open them. We didn't know and thought the kitchen didn't have pots and pans.

Great location! Walking distance from the Hbh and into the Altstadt. The rooms are clean and nice. The neighbourhood is safe and relatively quiet at night eventhough it is located on a main street. Easy booking and your key is left in a box for you. We will stay here again.
