Had a room for three people. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, felt a bit more narrow than a typical twin bed. Location very convenient right across train station. Had to wait for room to get ready around 2pm check in. There could be more outlets in the room. The two on the desk isn’t enough, already used up by lamp and water boiler, no place to plug in more things. Weirdly the toilet has 2 outlets...

Room felt dated and needed modernizing. No Usb ports only power and phone (?) sockets. Carpet felt thin and bathroom had no usable plug to fill basin. Shower good and usable. We stayed at this hotel for one night to break up a long journey. Novotels are always a guarantee of excellence. The structure is very beautiful, modern and elegant. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I only recommend adding USB sockets. Maximum cleanliness. Very varied and delicious breakfast. Friendly and professional staff. The hotel also has a covered parking lot, for a fee. Recommended

This hotel was great value for money. Had everything we needed. Food was fantastic. Parking was easy. Vending machines for all those treats and late night snacks. Plenty of room in the bedroom and tea and coffee facilities were greatly appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

Starting with the receptionist, she was delightful and most helpful despite her little English. The room was specious and immaculately clean. The hotel facilities were excellent. Public transportation is very convenient. The train station is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Supermarkets and daily necessities stores are next to the hotel, and there are many restaurants to choose from. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town and the city is very clean.

They need to improve immediately We stay 4 nights, 3 times in a row the towels were not changed without our request, twice the bed linen was not changed, once the room was not cleaned at all. Besides, it's not a good idea to put two twin beds together and to call it double bed.

My family traveled in early December to celebrate my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The Thermalbad next door was definitely the highlight, as were the wonderful breakfast buffets, excellent meal choices at dinner and friendly staff. All in all, a memorable, beautiful and festive stay!

Try the spa early am or late just before it closes for more private time

There is no air conditioning, it's so hot. The breakfast is OK. There are many elderly people who are doing rehabilitation next to us.

I visited this hotel twice this summer with my family and we just loved it! The location is fantastic - the view is wonderful. On our travel from Sweden to the French Riviera we have visit this hotel 3 times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are light and clean and comfortable beds. Super sted God service og godt sted

Hotel is near to main station only bad side is the road which makes quite difficult to push or pull your luggage. Take note about 6-7 steps before you reach to reception. If you don't bring, mid or large luggage, there won't be any issues. The staffs and facilities are perfect.

Overall the hotel was nice, was clean, nice breakfast, parking all fine. The only issue was the space and design, the room and WC were too small, everything in the hotel was very small, park place, lift… and design was not helping either. For example big chair in the room made even less space to move.

It was conveniently located in the center of Freiburg, and the hotel was clean. However, they charge a city tax separately, and I don't think that's the hotel's problem.

The hotel is located near Freiburg train station and within walking distance. Walking out of the hotel, you can reach the central city in 10 minutes, and the cathedral and other attractions are also within easy reach. The hotel staff are very nice and willing to help.

Clean, simple but comfortable. Free parking and self-check-in. Quite far away from town centre, but there is a bus stop just infront of the hotel.

Everything was great, the rooms are big and rather clean for a budget hotel, ambient light next to beds is definetely a plus at night 🤗 The breakfast was good for 8€ - enough choice of bread rolls and toppings and very decent coffee. This was a great hotel to use for my blackforest motorcycle tour. Room was clean, comfortable and shower great pressure. Breakfast was good and plentiful and the manager was an excellent host. Tram is about 18 min walk which gets you in the the center of Freiburg

Value for money. Small room, but enough for transit. Clean, and quite a good bed for my back. Some hotels have bed that causes backpain in the morning. Breakfast is really minimum but really sufficient, only lacking salad. Again, good value for money

Perfect Location, everything at walking distance. Parking at the basement (extra charge). Supermarket next door. Clean, quiet room, Air-condition, Minibar, Electric kettle. Big closet. Good Bathroom. Very good breakfast; quality and variety. The only minor flaws: A bit old-fashioned room. Shower gel was not replaced, until we asked for it. We recommend it.

Nive little gem just steps away from Laiser Josef strasse. Clean rooms and although the shower is small it has a great showeerhead for a refreshing morning. Superb breakfast buffet was in ledes in the price.
