Really nice hotel with its original decor and unusual! The owner is a fantastic cook, serving delicious, heartfelt meals. Taking time to chat with him was a highlight—he’s genuinely interesting and welcoming. Highly recommend!

At first, I wasn’t too sure about this place it didn’t look very inviting. But in the end it was great. The manager was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Totally worth it!!!

Polite host but I feel let down
The rooms are good size and clean. The host is nice, polite, and helpful. However, the facilities in the room are very basic - no toiletry, no drinking water, not even a kettle and a cup. It says on the hotel description that it offers breakfast. We went to the breakfast room and were only told that since they don't have many guests that day so the owner is not there to cook breakfast. The nearest place to have a bit of breakfast is 20 mins drive away. I have a 2 year old and old people with me. I felt quite let down. If you are not ready to serve your guests, maybe you should not choose to open the hotel during quiet time - we felt we are being punished for it.

There was no shower gel on the dispensor. The pillow was 3rd worldly. There was some kind of party till 4 am i couldnt get much sleep. Too expensive

Great place in the mountains. ,Group of bikers touring Europe. Really nice food and service. Owner and his wife work really hard to improve since taking over

This place is a perfect ski in/ski out lodge for the resort. The beds are really comfortable and the restaurant was fantastic and open later than the other places around the resort. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we plan a ski trip to feldberg. The room also had a wonderful view of the mountains. Very reasonably priced. The owners were very helpful with the parking during the busy weekend too.
