Rooms are large and clean. Easy to drive to and large free car park with chargers. There is a small indoor swimming pool. The staff were very helpful. Restaurant was nice: we had dinner on arrival and (inclusive) breakfast. There was a reasonable selection of family friendly options for dinner and a basic but nice breakfast. A gem of a hotel Good rooms 10 min walk from town centre The restaurant was fantastic only here for 2 nights and and ate here twice it was that good. Ok Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood.

Staying in a former prison – what a brilliant concept, and beautifully brought to life. The hotel is just a short walk from the city center and ideally located for a day trip to Strasbourg. Everything was good so far, the accommodation was very clean, the staff were very nice, and overall the house was very quiet. It seems that they value quiet guests. The only thing that bothered me was that the water drained so slowly from the sink. I could have complained about it, but I didn't want to. Overall it was good accommodation.

Beautiful hotel with very nice gardens and romantic terraces for breakfast, lunch and dining. We booked 1 room and one suite 6 days before but it was not possible to have dinner anymore. We arrived and saw a wedding going on so nobody really had time. A drink at the terrace yes but go in and collect the drinks yourself. Set in a stunning location in hills covered by vineyards. Room could have felt a bit more cozy but it is a chain hotel. Wellness area has sauna, steam room and pool. Super friendly host, immediately made us feel at ease. Big room, comfy bed, good shower! Not much to do in the village itself, however Seelbach and Lahr are close by, and when you get back to the Landgasthof it's perfect peace and quiet. Pretty garden too!

This place was at first glance fairly in the vicinity of the motorway. Upon closer inspection, it was still a half an hour by completely unlit forest roads to ride. Since we are on passage were from Italy and in Switzerland many had been delayed, on the road, the call that we were in. The hotel has a great location, it's a 10 minute walk into the centre. There are ample parking spaces available. The room was spacious but lacked amenities like coffee or tea making. The breakfast wasn't the most outstanding, but it was ok. You had your normal choices of bread, jams, cheese, and meat.

Recently stayed here for three nights. Great location, great service and room. Free/convenient parking was also a plus. The manager was also very helpful in helping plan activities while at the hotel. Finally, ate dinner at the onsite restaurant twice and was very happy with the food and service. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

This stay was so much more than my family expected. Super cute building, cozy rooms, free parking, great breakfast spread, and unmatched hospitality. My husband and I stayed here with our baby to explore the Black Forest and Strasbourg Christmas Markets and it worked out perfectly. We can’t wait to stay here again.

The three of us came completely wet and dirty from a mountain bike tour. We would still be offered a place independently. The hostess? showed us a room where we could change. The reviews and the website promised a little too much. But okay for the price. The facility no longer meets the current standards. The staff all made up for this with their friendliness.

Nestled away from all traffic and surrounded by forest, adorned with a beautiful wooded park that can be enjoyed as well as the 1500m2 of SPA and swimming pool area. A family welcome in all the nobility of the term and a cuisine that is well worth French tables. Amply justified value for money. A great discovery that I recommend.

Excellent Hotel with super rooms, very nice and pleasant Spa area, really friendly staff and children are welcome and can belong after 2 days, almost to the family. Also a great location to the ski lift Kniebis ( about 150m). And the food was really a dream. Since we would like to go again.
