My wife daughter and I picked this hotel as it was close to the mine museum. It turned out to be a real gem. The rooms were very clean and bright and the staff were absolutely lovely.

Stayed with a large group of family, we all had a great stay. Location was central so great for exploring. The hotel is very picturesque. The staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend and we all said we would return if we ever visit this region of Germany again.

Is a home for assisted living and a hotel. As a hotel guest, I felt very welcome there. The rooms and apartments were furnished to a high standard. The location is very central and quiet. I can only recommend.

We stayed at the Hotel Die Tanne for one night on a mountain bike tour. We arrived drenched and quite dirty, but were immediately welcomed in a friendly manner and taken to the nicely furnished rooms. Room / price is fair.some rooms are renovated and nice, others rather old. As I tend not to spend too much time in my room I do not care much about it. I need a bed and a shower, that I had :-) The beds though are not comfortable much. Food, serivce and cleanliness is very good. We had a really great weekend here. The room is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was well presented and the selection is very good. Particularly noteworthy is the nice staff. We would love to come back.

Very nice hotel right on the edge of the forest in a quiet location. We had a great room with a view of the Bocksberg. The nice employee at the reception and in the breakfast room fulfilled all wishes. The breakfast buffet was also great. Unfortunately the weather didn't play along, but we will definitely come back again.

We are totally satisfied. Had a junior suite. In the evenings in particular, we really enjoyed the couches. From the balcony we could see the Bocksberg. Breakfast is solid, rolls, eggs and everything you like. We'd love to come back.

A very nice hotel, but rather expensive. The steep room rate is to some extent countered by the quiet surroundings and the excellent food. The room wasn't large, the TV didn't work. Had it worked we wouldn't have enjoyed it, it's tiny. The bed was way too soft. The staff were very friendly.

Spent a week there with the whole family, and was won over on the first day. Friendly family atmosphere throughout the hotel, quiet location and spacious, cozy rooms. A huge plus point was the large wellness area with pool and two saunas, which with its relaxation room is perfect for relaxing after hiking. You rarely feel so comfortable and homely in hotels, soon in a new one!

The breakfast is good and completely sufficient. It's family-like and the staff are really nice. The fact that the swimming pool can only be used by families and at a time chosen by the guest is no cause for criticism for me. Every hotel needs a hygiene concept and this has been solved well. We went there as a family with our 1 year old son. The pension was ok. It could have been a little cleaner (e.g. cobwebs everywhere) and is a bit old. Otherwise, our concerns were properly taken care of, a travel cot and a high chair were provided. The breakfast was sufficient. The Bocksberg was within walking distance. You could spend the whole day there, e.g. ride the cable car, summer toboggan run...

At first glance our room looked quite good and comfortable. But up close you could see that everything was a bit dusty and worn. (Like the entire place.) We stayed here with 2 families for 3 days at the turn of the year and found it totally fine. The rooms are alright, but the doors or walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors and people on the corridor. The reception is open only from 8am to 8 pm which is not so optimal but we got the keys from a locker in front of the hotel entrance.

The hotel - pension is very centrally located in the beautiful spa town of Bad Harzburg and is excellently managed by the owner. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel was in a beautiful old building. Covid prevention measures were taken seriously. The buffet breakfast was one of the nicest I've had on holiday in Germany. I was especially pleased that the coffee pot was refilled several times!

Hotel Victoria offers a really nice stay close to the Harz mountains. It's located in the center of Bad Harzburg with a lot locations nearby. The hotel parking lot and breakfast are inclusive. We liked it very much. The beds were good and the room was very clean. Only the bathroom should be renovated. The sink was very low, more for children 😉 The operators were very nice and accommodating. We would book with you again. The guesthouse is very centrally located so you can reach a lot on foot.

Was a great place to breakfast, sleep and amuse the place was great and the hotel rooms are really clean the only downside is that the rooms are a bit old but that's fine.

I was given a lovely room in good condtion, with a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the heating effective, and the decor attractive. The evening meal was simply spectacular, fresh local produce well made and well presented. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The Hotel is a very sweet, the owners are very polite and doing their absolute best so that you have the best possible stay you could have. They do have a garage for your bike if needed and they are happy to help you around. They do speak a couple of languages so you should not have any problem talking to them. I'll stay there again if I visit Clausthal Zellerfeld again.
