Nice stay at Krone We really liked our stay at Krone. Good service, clean room. Easy check in and free parking.

Classic German hotel experience. Shared bath, walk up, older but very clean rooms. Great restaurant and contintental plus buffet breakfast.

The room was spacious and clean. It felt typically German which was great for us tourists. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to let us charge our EV overnight.

A review of an overnight stay at Hotel Krone A wonderful stay at this olde worlde charm hotel. Frau Brendel makes one feel most welcome. The hotel is ideally situated diagonally across the road from the impressive basilica, 30metres from bus station and also 30metres from the (helpful) Tourist Office. The breakfast (included in the hotel tariff) was hearty.

Everything about the property was nice but the older staff member was nice but wasn’t very friendly about me not wanting to take the rest of my food with me because it would go bad before I could finish it. The young staff member girl with black hair was very helpful and understanding about my difficulties figuring out how the keys and parking worked.

Commenting on the Hotel restaurant, they serve authentic German and Bavarian food even outside of the usual tourist season. I really loved their Schäufle and their Bavarian sausages. You can order local Frankonian beer here as well if you're searching for that. Definitely a nice place to fill your stomach after hiking in the area.

Very friendly and professional staff. Will always book again if had to visit my company branch in Eggolsheim and will also refer to my colleagues. Although central and close to shopping area, but still very calm and vibrant. All facilities available which a 3 star hotel should have. Good service when we checked in. The hotel and room were clean and very nice. Comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Only thing we had to go and ask for a second towel (which was no problem!), but other than that a fantastic stay!

The room was very clean and modern. Unfortunately there is no closet or dresser to store clothes. However, there was a rail with a coat hanger - right next to the bed. We didn't use it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back.

Plaza felt like it was recently renovated. Everything inside was new and nice. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Every morning they had a great breakfast with awesome bread, cheese, and meat.

Good hotel except they got the booking on arrival wrong so house guest and staff vigorously knocked on my door - demanded action- I went to front desk and staff embarrassed - problem fixed - parking fees waived thankyou but…… Aside from this debacle still a good hotel

Room and bathroom clean but rather dated. Woodchip wallpaper painted yellow. Crack in one wall. Furniture a bit dated. A bit like staying in student accommodation from 30 years ago. Bar and reception staff very helpful and efficient. Didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel because it was fairly pricey and alternatives within walking distance. Hotel was in a good location.

It's a very ordinary hotel. Because it's Sunday, you have to operate the machine yourself, but the location is very good. As soon as you go out, you will find the old town of Bayreuth. It is very convenient to various attractions.

I couldn't find a campsite in Bayreuth, so I stayed at Poseidon. It was great because it accommodated four people. The location was right next to the central square, so it was perfect for a walk and a beer. I highly recommend coming with friends... But please be patient if you're coming with a partner.

It was an old hotel. Every equipment in the room was very old. TV in my room had no signal and didn't work. It was cleaned up in the room. When I checked in, a reception lady said only two times, "your name?" and "room number 17".

Old-fashioned villa and bungalow, very close to the city center, about half an hour's walk to the Festival Theater of the Bayreuth Festival. The breakfast is okay. There is usually no one at the front desk. The staff can only be seen during breakfast. It is a loose management.

My room was supposed to have a double bed, instead it was 2 single bed joined together which was very incovenient for us as it was moving.

Good stay… except the crevice! We enjoyed staying at the ApartHotel. It actually did feel like staying in an apartment. The room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint is that “queen bed” meant sleeping on two twin beds pushed together. Every time I wanted to spoon my spouse I ended up sinking into the crevice between the beds; no good. Checked in an hour early, the front desk reception was warm! The location is very central and convenient to everywhere! Parking 🅿️ is in the nearby P7 parking lot, very close!

We did not stay at the Hotel but were part of a birthday party so we just came for breakfast and later hung around a little. The staff was super nice, the breakfast was great and mostly local products. Besides the whole place tries to give nature back as much as possible. We loved the rooftop lounge! It is a good place to stay because is near to center, my room was very quite. In case of a next trip in this city, I will choose this hotel definitely. It seems strange for me the opening way of the doors. Seem unsafe because you can hit someone if he/she is passing on the hall when you open the door.

Hotel receptionists are very nice and helpful, but the facilities are not doing well. My first night was so hard since the room was like a furniture. I had to attend a business meeting with 0 hour sleep since the air conditioning did not work. I reported this the day after and the receptionists took an immediate action.

The hotel is not big. After arriving at the hotel in the afternoon, we waited until the check-in time but were not able to check in immediately. The room was not ready yet. We waited for half an hour before checking in. It is very convenient to go out for shopping. Erlangen is not big. The town is very comfortable and it is also very comfortable to walk around. It is also very close to the bus station

Really nice hotel in a great location close to train station and main high street. Very clean and tidy. We only stayed on B&B basis but the choice and quality of breakfast food and drink was amazing. My only gripe, and it's a small gripe, is that there are no drawers in the room. Plenty of wardrobe space but no drawers so underwear and socks were stored in the safe. When i arrived the evening there was cold in the room...the hotel is a bit like a maze, different paths in the morning/evening. Kinda obsolete I would say. The breakfast on the other hand was very good.
