Good place to stay. Clean and spacious room, tasty breakfast, great coffee. Minus is that there was no one at reception desk when we were doing check in. Also when we were leaving there was no one, so we have to wait someone to come.

Nicely placed, parking in front, kind staff, spacious room, good bedding, even has cooking facilities. The breakfast is okay, nothing fancy. The price was fair (around paid around 70 euros). Recommended for travelling through or perhaps expats (seeing the central location).

Very comfortable hotel in a small village. Very nice staff and fantastic breakfast. In the village reigns an incredible silence and thanks to the fountain everything is very relaxing. Unique is the restaurant, prices out of the ordinary to be in a small village. Grappa 9,5€ is too much.

To reach by car, a beautiful path leads to this Restaurant, When you start in Wyhlen you land here after a ~1 hour hike. I would really love vegan options here, since i think the chef is talented and we should go with the time, and more and more people would like to be able to eat out vegan.

Very rude woman in reception, also the main reason i book this hotel is parking which is full once i came. I park my car 200 mt away from hotel in darkness.

For a very decent amount of money we had a very comfortable room including a good breakfast. I was served the best cappuccino I could wish for.

Warm welcome, very nice continental breakfast, convenient, sadly enough we couldn’t enjoy the fine dining experience as the restaurant was closed. Regardless they recommended a selection of nearby restaurants. No remarks at all. The complimentary minibar was a cherry on top!

We went there the first time in quite some time. Both had the full menu + wine journey (pick it if you get the chance, it really lifts the whole evening to another experience). All the courses were delicious and came with perfectly selected wine (and in one case Sherry). Service was spot on, for me exactly the amount of attentivness to the guest. So, we'll be back for sure.

The room was cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately, they forgot to email us the code for the key box. So please mention that there is a hotel 200 meters away with the same owner where you can get the information. If we hadn't told you that from the pizzeria next door, we would have had to sleep in the car.

The room was small, but neat and clean. The modern furnishings made it seem a bit cold and uncomfortable. I didn't like the lighting concept at all; you could either leave the very bright ceiling light on, or a single small bedside lamp that hardly gave off any light. That's why I had to turn on the bathroom light as well.

Pleasant stay at Hotel Schlotzeria. The building is now operated by the Hotel Eckert (200 meters away). Check-in was a little awkward as the key boxes didn't work. The staff of the attached ice cream parlor helped us further (highly recommended). The rooms themselves are modern in style and clean. There was someone to clean every day. A small coffee machine is also available for guests on the floors...

The hotel is located next to an industrial area only 600m from the Swiss border. The hotel only has breakfast service but restaurants are in a short walking distance. The room was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials.

Very clean, friendly staff. A very simple breakfast included, but we were very satisfied with it. Free WiFi. The Chinese restaurant had not opened when we we're there, but we found a lovely cosy restaurant 750m away that served delicious German food, Stettemer Wiikeller. I recommend the cordon bleu with spätzle.

Wonderful staff, very convenient location (right next to the Swiss border and a short drive from Basel), clean and offers an excellent breakfast buffet. Child and pet friendly. Spacious parking in front. Also has a conference room and a bar. 👌

Kind personnel. We could cancel one of the three rooms we booked, without penalties. Very nearby Beyeler and Vitra museum. Room is small size but perfect for short stay. Bed is confortable and breakfast is good.

Friendly and welcoming staff, very nice bedrooms with nice touches of Vitra furniture, Eames lounge chair and ottoman in our room. Easy walking distance to the Vitra museum, well worth a visit. Would stay here again.

This is a delightful family-owned hotel. The location is tucked back in a sleepy residential area of this small town. It was an easy walk to town center. The facility is charming and the rooms are surprisingly spacious. It is worth paying 10 € extra to get a newly-renovated room. I had second-level quarters with a balcony replete with table and chairs to facilitate enjoyment of the late summer weather...

The staff were ever so helpful. A lot of the staff spoke multiple languages, which helped a lot. (I am only English speaking) Catered for gluten free and offered oat and soya milk. Fully stocked fridge with beer, water and soft drinks. 5 mins walk from the highstreet. 20 min walk to vitra museum. Only rated 4/5 for condition because there was ongoing maintenance which I wasn’t aware of....

Absolutely fantastic hostel. Simon was absolutely amazing and so helpful, arranging a late check in and extending my stay with minimal effort. I really like the single beds instead of bunk beds, super comfy and everything you’d need.

We have stayed here a few times and only just realised that I have never left a review. Always a friendly and efficient check-in/out. This stay we were arriving after reception closed, however they very generously offered to come and open up for us when we arrived, all it took was a phone call once we were a few minutes away. Perfect for a quick stop. Free Parking, WiFi (although bit slow). And breakfast for Just 5euro (buffet). Room had TV, fan, hairdryer and a small table where you can sit and work. You can't move the two single beds to make a double bed so make sure you specifically say what bed you want when you book. :) Even if you book for multiple days, you only get tiny shampoo packet and no toothpaste. No problem...

A wonderful, charming main house, full of well picked details, you feel that it’s a family run business. I loved the terrace on the ceiling. This little gem is nestled within a quiet neighborhood in Lorrach. The grounds are well kept and lit in the evening. Staff is courteous and helpful. Take a look inside the wonderful old building. Room was spacious and clean. I would recommend people to stay here.

It's only possible to have breakfast . Diner is not possible but in city centrum is enough restaurants. The beds were good en the room was clean.
