Nice rooms with proper service and friendly staff, even at late night arrival. I stay often and was never let down. It's a low-price hotel which does not pretend to be more than it is. Nice and easy.

Nice little hotel that is more like a guesthouse. Very clean and good price for value with uncomplicated and friendly hosts. Bus stop to Weil am Rhein nearby, and the castle is just a short walk uphill away.

Very good hotel. Clean, good beds, excellent breakfasts. Close to the train station. Good alternative if you're visiting Basel and there are no available rooms in Basel (which can happen if there are big fairs in the city).

Lovely hotel, close to amenities. Lift is a bit slow but understandable as we were a really big group all at once. Friendly efficient service, great bar and breakfasts are top class.

Hostile front desk! Holes on towels and old furniture. Probably carried over from another hotel. High police presence as it's the choice of border police as far as we could understand. Overpriced and definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Spent 6 nights at the hotel with 2 other guests and myself. The rooms were very immaculate and beautiful and spacious. I had the opportunity to try out both the Deluxe, and Executive Suite hotel rooms and both were amazing. We have stayed here a few times and only just realised that I have never left a review. Always a friendly and efficient check-in/out. This stay we were arriving after reception closed, however they very generously offered to come and open up for us when we arrived, all it took was a phone call once we were a few minutes away. Perfect for a quick stop. Free Parking, WiFi (although bit slow). And breakfast for Just 5euro (buffet). Room had TV, fan, hairdryer and a small table where you can sit and work. You can't move the two single beds to make a double bed so make sure you specifically say what bed you want when you book. :) Even if you book for multiple days, you only get tiny shampoo packet and no toothpaste. No problem...

Clean and pleasant service, spacious room and the best is the shower

The hotel itself is showing its age, and the room facilities are old, but the triple room we stayed in was very large, and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the bar on the lobby floor was appealing. The location is very close to the highway, making access excellent, and the large car park is well-equipped, so we were satisfied.

Do yourself a favor and find another place. This used to be a decent hotel. The whole place is getting older and now they upcharge for everything. Breakfast used to be small but good buffet. Now 20 euro for crappy English breakfast. Can't even get a cup of coffee here. This will be last time staying here for business or recommending to international colleagues coming to Weil for business. Very sad...

Had car problems and needed to stay overnight. We were able to get a room around midnight when other hotel options were already closed. The staff was accommodating and provided us with a free parking space for our car and the trailer, which usually would set you back 20€. Had a lovely drink at the bar and we were ready to head out the next day.

A fab service at this hotel ; everyone was so kind and helpful - genuinely. A sturdy bath and great period features which added a quaint touch to the hotel. Breakfast was not a buffet but you choose from the menu and are served which made me feel special and cared for . Thank you everyone at the hotel for making it an enjoyable and pleasant stay .

Nice hotel when you are travelling for your vacation. Rooms are fine but a bit outdated. Breakfast was excellent with lots of glutenfree options. The service was very good. The only real downside was that two out of three elevators weren't working. Pricing was also very good.

Near the high way with quite outdated rooms, though clean and silent and beds are excellent. Some rooms lack airconditioning. One elevator was working, out of 3. Breakfast is huge but you need to pay extra for your second cup of coffee. Good for a one night stopover.

Rooms are okay and clean, I was unable to regulate the shower temp because of cheap mixer! Restaurant is great and good service, food is delicious and a lot. Breakfast was okay, sausage was cooled and meatballs is not meatballs!

We enjoyed our stay with two small kids. Hotel has connected rooms which was great. All our small problems were solved by the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is nice. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable.

Clean, dog friendly, and excellent location by the Rhein. Maintenance is poor. The hotel is on floor 5 and 6 with three lifts. One is permanently out of order, another failed, and was told that it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. With so many rooms, one small lift is inadequate.

Wow so surprised by the hotel. It was just for one night during our road trip but I actually want to stay longer 🫣 very spacious large room (3 people), amazing view, great service, clean.

We stayed only one night but it felt as an eternity. The staff were really kind and accommodating. The first room that we were assigned was really nice, big, smelled really good and clean but while I was in the shower the water stopped working because of a malfunction and I couldn’t even wash away the soap. We had to change to another room at night. This second room was ok but it smelled really bad...

We slept in the old part of the hotel wich have older rooms. Didn't bother us, slept like kings and enjoyed the view. Perfect hotel for a descend price next to 3 borders.

We went there the first time in quite some time. Both had the full menu + wine journey (pick it if you get the chance, it really lifts the whole evening to another experience). All the courses were delicious and came with perfectly selected wine (and in one case Sherry). Service was spot on, for me exactly the amount of attentivness to the guest. So, we'll be back for sure.

The Restaurant is very expensive for the experience. Basically Swiss prices. Also a Rivera del Duero cost minimum 150€ and Up! Food quality is high. Creativity is ok. ROI = so so.

2 days here, and it was good.. what i like here is they have "lachs" for breakfast and also fresh scramble egg.

We had a fabulous stay at The Eckert. Our room was fabulous, lovely and clean. We were near to the little pool, which I would have loved to have had time to use as it looked great. The hotel is located next to an industrial area only 600m from the Swiss border. The hotel only has breakfast service but restaurants are in a short walking distance. The room was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials.

There are definitely no negative points from me, because after my flight was delayed and I arrived in Rheinfelden well after 10 p.m., I was still able to get into my room! Very clean room, very quiet location, very nice and courteous staff. Definitely a pension where I would check in again! I would like to add that the rooms with balconies are ideal for smokers and they also have ashtrays. Perfect

All in all very pleasant, breakfast buffet was nice and plenty choices. Only downsides are that the room walls are rather thin and depending on your neighbor, you may hear them clearly. The other small downsides are the missing slippers in the room, so you best bring your own. Location is great, just 5min walk to the Swiss border.

Good choice! Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great place. Good breakfast. Buffet in the associated Chinese restaurant is nice and not expensive option. 15 min walk to Solo Uno on Swiss side of Rhein. Good dining option in Gambrinus.

How a hotel should be. Great service, food and wellness area. A lot of attention to details and cleanliness. We enjoyed our wellness weekend getaway.

A local family owned and operated hotel. Rooms does not have any air conditioning, so it does gets very hot and humid during summer.

Hospitality at its best. Even having arrived late in the evening, the lady owner and her husband the chef, served up a nice local inspired meal that was absolutely delicious. The room was large, super clean and inviting and as mostly in Germany the bedding was top notch. Prices were reasonable and service and quality of food exceptional. Don’t leave without trying the breakfast buffet!

I was here for three months on a business trip. Perfect and clam place to rest while the city center is quiet close and at walkable distance. The owner is very gentle and the staffs are very friendly too. May be one of the best place to stay in schopfheim.

Wonderful experience during the whole weekend! Very friendly staff in the hotel but also at the restaurant and bar. The food was delicious and there is a nice range of available drinks. The surroundings are beautiful. We'll visit anytime again, hopefully soon!

The service in this hotel is the best service that I have had in years. This hotel group wants to do everything for you and your party to make you comfortable and make sure you have an excellent stay. Cannot fault the intent and food options and quality of rooms.

We were on a business trip. My room was clean and dinner was very good. Breakfast was modest.

We booked an overnight stay here on the way to Italy. Great contact and everything was handled well. Good and big apartment. The pets were allowed. We had a good stay. You can eat well within 10 minutes of walking.

High quality appartments, some with a spectacular view over the Rhine valley towards the Vosges mountains. Parking lots exclusively for tenants.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment that is well maintained and well equipped. Really appreciated the small things like dishwasher tablets. The apartments are located in a quiet area of Bad Bellingen; the small center of the town is within walking distance.

It's nice and clean and reasonably priced. However I reserved a 2 bedroom apartment with a bathtub and got a 1 bedroom apartment with shower. Bit of a letdown..

The welcome was warm and you felt at home. The room was clean and cozy with all essential comforts. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback were the very thin pillows. Therefor a more than delicious, very extensive breakfast buffet was served, from which one didn't want to get up at all. My conclusion, anytime again. Price performance top!

06-11-2017: Excellent address for a transit through southern Germany. But it also seems excellent to me to stay here for a few days. We stayed on the first floor in a room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine Valley. Within walking distance to the Kurpark and nice restaurants. The welcome was very warm and as a welcome we even got a carafe of delicious red wine reserved in our room. To our surprise...

stay from 10/31/17 to 11/5/17. Very warm welcome from the hotel manager, but some problems with the rooms: TV (not a single French channel), no WI FI, no welcome drink , mini-bar unusable! We believe that this young couple has taken over this hotel and is trying to put everything back in order. They speak very little French, but Italian and English.

Nice hotel, certainly a bit outdated but the beds were fine. It was bloody hot in the rooms only because of the lack of air conditioning, we were here in early August 2017. Breakfast was delicious with warm freshly baked bread rolls.
