We have stayed here a few times and only just realised that I have never left a review. Always a friendly and efficient check-in/out. This stay we were arriving after reception closed, however they very generously offered to come and open up for us when we arrived, all it took was a phone call once we were a few minutes away. Perfect for a quick stop. Free Parking, WiFi (although bit slow). And breakfast for Just 5euro (buffet). Room had TV, fan, hairdryer and a small table where you can sit and work. You can't move the two single beds to make a double bed so make sure you specifically say what bed you want when you book. :) Even if you book for multiple days, you only get tiny shampoo packet and no toothpaste. No problem...

Clean and pleasant service, spacious room and the best is the shower

Rooms are okay and clean, I was unable to regulate the shower temp because of cheap mixer! Restaurant is great and good service, food is delicious and a lot. Breakfast was okay, sausage was cooled and meatballs is not meatballs!

Brilliant for the price to be on the doorstep of Basel, tram for 5 people cost the same as the rooms did, makes you think?

We enjoyed our stay with two small kids. Hotel has connected rooms which was great. All our small problems were solved by the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is nice. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable.

Clean, dog friendly, and excellent location by the Rhein. Maintenance is poor. The hotel is on floor 5 and 6 with three lifts. One is permanently out of order, another failed, and was told that it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. With so many rooms, one small lift is inadequate.

Wow so surprised by the hotel. It was just for one night during our road trip but I actually want to stay longer 🫣 very spacious large room (3 people), amazing view, great service, clean.

We stayed only one night but it felt as an eternity. The staff were really kind and accommodating. The first room that we were assigned was really nice, big, smelled really good and clean but while I was in the shower the water stopped working because of a malfunction and I couldn’t even wash away the soap. We had to change to another room at night. This second room was ok but it smelled really bad...

Clean and quiet rooms, friendly service, nice setting

A fab service at this hotel ; everyone was so kind and helpful - genuinely. A sturdy bath and great period features which added a quaint touch to the hotel. Breakfast was not a buffet but you choose from the menu and are served which made me feel special and cared for . Thank you everyone at the hotel for making it an enjoyable and pleasant stay .

Nice hotel when you are travelling for your vacation. Rooms are fine but a bit outdated. Breakfast was excellent with lots of glutenfree options. The service was very good. The only real downside was that two out of three elevators weren't working. Pricing was also very good.

Near the high way with quite outdated rooms, though clean and silent and beds are excellent. Some rooms lack airconditioning. One elevator was working, out of 3. Breakfast is huge but you need to pay extra for your second cup of coffee. Good for a one night stopover.

Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Ideal if you're looking for a comfy bed and filling breakfast (with many choices) when on the road. Close to the highway, big parking lot and all in all, great value for money. The takeaway coffee in the lounge is a nice touch

Excellent location, personnel, food and drinks. The price is not cheap but the rooms are very generous, clean and people are very friendly. Be aware of the clock of the church tower that bells at each quarter, so please, close the windows

This is a delightful family-owned hotel. The location is tucked back in a sleepy residential area of this small town. It was an easy walk to town center. The facility is charming and the rooms are surprisingly spacious. It is worth paying 10 € extra to get a newly-renovated room. Very clean, friendly staff. A very simple breakfast included, but we were very satisfied with it. Free WiFi. The Chinese restaurant had not opened when we we're there, but we found a lovely cosy restaurant 750m away that served delicious German food, Stettemer Wiikeller. I recommend the cordon bleu with spätzle.

I wanted a hotel that i can arrive late too an check in at any time. They gave me a code to get the key, stright forward.

It should be actually 3+ but let us round it up to 4:-). They have really nice staff and very decent breakfast. The hotel and its surrounding area are clean, people are very friendly. The restaurant was busy in the evening which is usually a good sign and indeed the food was excellent. The scissors between service and price/ quality is not good. Old Hotel, minimal room, old furniture. Top point the garden restaurant ( expensive!!! ) to be in Germany , and positin very close to the borders

The dishes we had were above average, even if a little more expensive than you are used to from anderen Greek restaurants.

Hotel was tidy and "as expected". Nice and helpful staff, and convenient free parking outside. The Greek restaurant was really great, with some of the best Greek food I've ever had and really nice staff as well. Would recommend both, but the restaurant especially.

We just needed a place to rest a night on our way from the Netherlands to Italy. This cosy hotel was a much better choice than staying at a large hotel. The family room is spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable. Amazing view from the roof window and from the restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were fresh and abundant.

Good local cuisine at rather steep / Swiss prices. Nothing really adventurous on the menu. The right place to go for lunch with your nana and enjoy the panoramic views.

Great hotel. Small bathroom and the toilet was extremely cramped. The beds are nice. I do recommend bringing your own pillow. Extremely soft! Great service though and lovely people. Would stay again

We slept in the old part of the hotel wich have older rooms. Didn't bother us, slept like kings and enjoyed the view. Perfect hotel for a descend price next to 3 borders.

Spent a night there on a business trip and was positively thrilled with the accommodations. Very modern rooms with a lot of comforts and an attentive and caring service personnel. I liked it very much.

Kind personnel. We could cancel one of the three rooms we booked, without penalties. Very nearby Beyeler and Vitra museum. Room is small size but perfect for short stay. Bed is confortable and breakfast is good.
