Rooms are okay and clean, I was unable to regulate the shower temp because of cheap mixer! Restaurant is great and good service, food is delicious and a lot. Breakfast was okay, sausage was cooled and meatballs is not meatballs!

Brilliant for the price to be on the doorstep of Basel, tram for 5 people cost the same as the rooms did, makes you think?

We enjoyed our stay with two small kids. Hotel has connected rooms which was great. All our small problems were solved by the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is nice. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable.

Clean, dog friendly, and excellent location by the Rhein. Maintenance is poor. The hotel is on floor 5 and 6 with three lifts. One is permanently out of order, another failed, and was told that it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. With so many rooms, one small lift is inadequate.

Wow so surprised by the hotel. It was just for one night during our road trip but I actually want to stay longer 🫣 very spacious large room (3 people), amazing view, great service, clean.

We stayed only one night but it felt as an eternity. The staff were really kind and accommodating. The first room that we were assigned was really nice, big, smelled really good and clean but while I was in the shower the water stopped working because of a malfunction and I couldn’t even wash away the soap. We had to change to another room at night. This second room was ok but it smelled really bad...

The hotel itself is showing its age, and the room facilities are old, but the triple room we stayed in was very large, and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the bar on the lobby floor was appealing. The location is very close to the highway, making access excellent, and the large car park is well-equipped, so we were satisfied.

Reasonable price, restaurant was quite good but hotel looked bit tired, only one lift was working while we were there.

Do yourself a favor and find another place. This used to be a decent hotel. The whole place is getting older and now they upcharge for everything. Breakfast used to be small but good buffet. Now 20 euro for crappy English breakfast. Can't even get a cup of coffee here. This will be last time staying here for business or recommending to international colleagues coming to Weil for business. Very sad...

Staff coping very well under challenging conditions. No airconditioning and only 1 working lift. They remained polite and friendly despite people complaining about the lack of airco on a 35 degree day!  Rooms are large and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Had car problems and needed to stay overnight. We were able to get a room around midnight when other hotel options were already closed. The staff was accommodating and provided us with a free parking space for our car and the trailer, which usually would set you back 20€. Had a lovely drink at the bar and we were ready to head out the next day.

We have stayed here a few times and only just realised that I have never left a review. Always a friendly and efficient check-in/out. This stay we were arriving after reception closed, however they very generously offered to come and open up for us when we arrived, all it took was a phone call once we were a few minutes away. Perfect for a quick stop. Free Parking, WiFi (although bit slow). And breakfast for Just 5euro (buffet). Room had TV, fan, hairdryer and a small table where you can sit and work. You can't move the two single beds to make a double bed so make sure you specifically say what bed you want when you book. :) Even if you book for multiple days, you only get tiny shampoo packet and no toothpaste. No problem...

Very clean, friendly staff. A very simple breakfast included, but we were very satisfied with it. Free WiFi. The Chinese restaurant had not opened when we we're there, but we found a lovely cosy restaurant 750m away that served delicious German food, Stettemer Wiikeller. I recommend the cordon bleu with spätzle.

Wonderful staff, very convenient location (right next to the Swiss border and a short drive from Basel), clean and offers an excellent breakfast buffet. Child and pet friendly. Spacious parking in front. Also has a conference room and a bar. 👌

Excellent location, personnel, food and drinks. The price is not cheap but the rooms are very generous, clean and people are very friendly. Be aware of the clock of the church tower that bells at each quarter, so please, close the windows

This is a delightful family-owned hotel. The location is tucked back in a sleepy residential area of this small town. It was an easy walk to town center. The facility is charming and the rooms are surprisingly spacious. It is worth paying 10 € extra to get a newly-renovated room. I had second-level quarters with a balcony replete with table and chairs to facilitate enjoyment of the late summer weather...

The hotel and its surrounding area are clean, people are very friendly. The restaurant was busy in the evening which is usually a good sign and indeed the food was excellent. The scissors between service and price/ quality is not good. Old Hotel, minimal room, old furniture. Top point the garden restaurant ( expensive!!! ) to be in Germany , and positin very close to the borders

The dishes we had were above average, even if a little more expensive than you are used to from anderen Greek restaurants.

Hotel was tidy and "as expected". Nice and helpful staff, and convenient free parking outside. The Greek restaurant was really great, with some of the best Greek food I've ever had and really nice staff as well. Would recommend both, but the restaurant especially.

The staff were ever so helpful. A lot of the staff spoke multiple languages, which helped a lot. (I am only English speaking) Catered for gluten free and offered oat and soya milk. Fully stocked fridge with beer, water and soft drinks. 5 mins walk from the highstreet. 20 min walk to vitra museum. Only rated 4/5 for condition because there was ongoing maintenance which I wasn’t aware of....

Nice hotel to stay overnight in the basel area. It is located in a quite part of a village and one has the idea to sleep in the country site. The rooms are large and comfortable and good value for money. The checkin was fast and very friendly. We took dinner in their restaurant and the food was very good and the service extremely friendly and personalised. We ate courgesoup, knocked and mushrooms...

We occasionally get lunch take-outs as indoor dining is not allowed due to current Covid regulations. The food is phenomenal, prepared to order by very friendly staff that seem to keep their spirits high. The menu is regularly changing, including weekly specials and business lunch offers. Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here catching up with an old friend. It's a little out of the way, but the staff were friendly, service was excellent, and the food was just what we were looking for. I ate snails in garlic butter which were the best I think I've ever eaten, followed by a Wiener Schnitzel which they allowed me to swap the chips for spätzle, which was heavenly. We had such a lovely, warm welcome and the staff could not be more helpful. Inside, the hotel is clean and welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently positioned and about 10 or 15 minutes to the tram stop into Basel. The breakfast was absolutely first class - plenty of options and the rooms were great.

Booked the hotel for a stopover. The location initially put me off, but the hotel is close to the highway and several restaurants. Upon arrival, we received friendly service. A nice, spacious apartment for four people. The curtain on the top floor wasn't adequate, but it wasn't a problem for our children. The bathroom was also clean, and the beds were comfortable. Great hotel. Small bathroom and the toilet was extremely cramped. The beds are nice. I do recommend bringing your own pillow. Extremely soft! Great service though and lovely people. Would stay again

Good value great location visit Switzerland for day and coming back instead of paying outrageous Swiss hotel rates

Staff was helpful and friendly but did not speak English well. Noise on the side with the postal station was a bit much in the early mornings. Overall though, convenient location for the three regions area.

Quiet place and nice rooms for the price. Big shower. Badroom was very clean, but there was some hair in my bed. Unfortunately no air-conditioning and it was warm during the night but nothing bad. I would recommend to take the rooms that are not on the last floor if the day was very hot.

We checked in 2 rooms and paid with one invoice which may have caused the confusion that internet login did not work for one of the rooms. Facilities need more attention; hot water in the temperature changes a lot and often. The shower curtain was too narrow to cover the stall so splashed the floor wet when shower. The shower head slips every time shower head was in use. Location is great.

Arrived at 4:30 am and Zain the night receptionist was very helpful indeed. Great to have easy access parking. Hotel not well sign posted. Look for Best Western as in same building.Clean and comfortable room. Relaxed and ready for onward journey.

Location and parking are convoluted and difficult to navigate with baggage. It is located on the 6th floor of a busy shopping complex, with no passenger/ baggage drop off at street level and no access from parking level. The room was large and well appointed, but the open shower floor was slippery when wet. After several days of great rooms at a lower price ( while touring in Germany) we were underwhelmed

The hotel is well located, the staff is very friendly. But for me there are big downsides to the rooms. Broken blinds, broken curtains, dirt under the bedside tables, towel dryers that don't work, and above all what bothers me the most is that with 9 degrees at night, there is no heating... it's really cold in the rooms, the windows are full of condensation…. In short, it's not great. I don't know...

Kind personnel. We could cancel one of the three rooms we booked, without penalties. Very nearby Beyeler and Vitra museum. Room is small size but perfect for short stay. Bed is confortable and breakfast is good.

Friendly and welcoming staff, very nice bedrooms with nice touches of Vitra furniture, Eames lounge chair and ottoman in our room. Easy walking distance to the Vitra museum, well worth a visit. Would stay here again.
