Where to stay in Gustrow

Great place, fantastic location, comfy beds, nice staff, safe bike storage. Rooms get hot in the daytime and could use a fan.

I spent one night here and I felt very well. If you come from Rostock port it's a good place to stop, 'cause it's quite near and there is no problem if you arrive late. It's also very easy to find and there is a big parking place. Staff is friendly and very quick. Breakfast is good and there is really a lot you can choose. Good price. Great tent camping in hotel grounds. The staff were very helpful particularly Ms. Schmidts. Buffet restaurant on site great meal for €20. Breakfast for 7. Highly recommend.

This place is very close (walking distance) to the very cool Wildpark and the Oase swimming pool. Both places are great for children of all ages. It is a drive into the town centre to see the Barlach ehibition in the Gertrudenstraße and the "Schwebende" in the Güstrow Dom.

It looks rather bad on the outside (combination of camping, hotel, steakhouse and zoo). But don't let the outside fool you.. The food was affordable and really good, I ate a cheeseburger with fries and it was tasty and generously large. The beers are affordable and the schnaps are served ice cold and tasty. We went there for lunchtime at a normal Saturday. Place was not crowded, but still a good amount of guests. They serve a blend of Italian and German foods. The menu is not large and easy to get a good overview. We had Tortellini with ham and Pizza prosciutto. The ham was normal string ham on both, but was still okay. This is a great new hotel overlooking the lake. There's a public park/beach and cycling path between the hotel and lake. It is located about a kilometer from town. There are no close amenities. If you ever visit Güstrow, this is the place to check-in. Spacious, clean and comfy rooms for appropriate prices. Breakfast is exquisite, WiFi is free and stable.

Weinberg Hotel has a lovely, friendly and very service-minded staff that always makes sure the guests have what they need. The breakfast is very tasty and I would recommend to visit the restaurant for dinner also - the meals are delicious and made out of local products (try one of the wild pig dishes! ). A very recommendable hotel!

This was our first time in the guest house Hess. Everything is very, very tidy, the room, the garden, the cute rabbits, and above all the varied, delicious breakfast buffet served by a really, very friendly breakfast fairy 👍❗️ Due to Corona, there was a lack of socializing in the evening with possibly the other guests. Great value for money and excellent service I found Sweet Dream because I wanted an overnight stay close to Rostock and Schwerin. I only use public transportation so having the bus stop basically across from the building in about 100 meters is a huge plus. It operates about all 15 minutes throughout the day. We stayed at the Jagdschloss for one night and cycled the Berlin-Kopenhagen-Weg. We really liked the castle. It was in very good condition both inside and out and had a very special flair. The castle is small and cute, with a nice garden/park arround it. But Bellin is a small villige, without any train station, without any store (not even a bakery).

Nice hotel in cozy little town. The rooms were clean and nice and the restaurant in the hotel served good food from the Russian cuisine. The location was good and there was also free parking.
