The sauna is awful: just 4 recliners to rest. Shower is tiny, fits max. 2 people: the sink was clogged when we were there. So you’d better go check before considering of even going to the sauna.

The complex is located by it self on top of a small hill looking over the city, which is a great view! The hotel rooms have a modern look to them and seem newly renovated. Our stay was very satisfactory and I was pleased to see clean and well kept rooms. The beds were presented with German 'Haribo bears' and some sparkling mineral water. The Restaurant at the hotel serves some fantastic dishes both dinner and breakfast. The staff for the most part do not speak English, but that is to be expected in Germany, though I will always count it as a plus if they did. Parking spaces are alright, with lots both behind and beside the building. Though it is to be said that if you park behind the building, you will have to take a walk in the basement, which apart from painted walls have no lights and does not appear welcoming what so ever, neither does the staircases or hallways - they look rather pale compared to the beautiful rooms, which is why I have to withdraw a star from the overall experience.

Absolutely wonderful service, beautiful room, excellent breakfast buffet... it was a bit awkward that I had to iron in the bar lol yet it was still ok. I highly encourage using their sauna as well - all of my wishes were met!!

Nice location in the forest, good size n comfortable rooms n baths. A 30 mins stroll to downtown. We were especially happy for the charger for electric cars, however and for the first time at a hotel unfortunately not for free...

I used the hotel for one night. The location is quite nice and it is close the motorway. It is reasonably priced, and the breakfast was good.
I thought the wifi was too slow for modern use, and it would have been nice with a refrigerator. Otherwise, the room was great.

Extremely bad service. Got downgraded on arrival day even though I had reserved many weeks before I arrived. The downgraded room had no mini bar, which is problematic if you are staying 4 weeks in a hotel. Even though I asked several times for a call-back of the manager, never got a call but only snarky comments from the staff at the reception. The restaurant is very different. Exceptionally friendly staff and very good food.
