Excellent hotel with good parking outside and great view!

Excellent hotel! Smooth process at all levels. Plentiful buffet in the evening and in the morning. We had a great room, very clean, just the design of what is supposed to be a sink took a little getting used to

Breakfast wasn’t great with slow service, long queue to coffee machine and rather stale baked goods. I guess it’s all about the location here but small improvements would create a great experience for guests

Relaxed luxury in a beautiful natural setting. We enjoyed a short break here, loved the breakfast buffet and had a tasty (vegetarian) dinner. We enjoyed a 'garden room's that has a breathtaking view

Nearby both the railway station, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and Zoo am Rammelsberg. The only drawback is the traffic on the street outside, paved with cobblestone so every car makes a lot of noise

The location of the hotel is great. All sights can be easily reached by train. Great advice on what you can do in the city and what is a must for Kassel. Buying the tourist meinCard is highly recommended

I booked on the go while traveling therefore I wasn’t expecting much and instead I was amazed how nice was the room which was given to me on the 5th floor with outstanding terrace and view! I felt like I was in a small castle back in time! Thanks a lot and whenever I will be traveling around that area I for sure will book again here

Very friendly and helpful reception

The rooms are newly furnished and there is nothing missing in the room that you need for a weekend, the firm mattresses make for a very good night's sleep and it is beautifully clean

It didn't feel like we were in a hotel at all. In short, if you are visiting Kassel, you are in really good hands here for a comfortable night's sleep

A well-run and rather comfortable hotel. Good soundproofing. Spacious room. Reinforcing sweetness at breakfast would be a good initiative. The staff is efficient and friendly. There is a lack of real parking.

The rooms have the odd scratch but that doesn't really bother you. The facilities are good, there are Nespresso machines and free Netflix streaming, which is not normal in this price category

The Hotel Palmenbad offers a very nice option: very good location near Wilhelmshöhe Park, tram in front of the building and good parking. The building is old but overall in good condition

We spent the evenings at the hotel's own bar and were really well looked after. Here too, the staff were super attentive, tried very hard to give us a nice evening and even laughed with us

The breakfast room was large and the breakfast buffet was very well a good start for exploring Kassel with all sort of bread, serials, fruit, drinks, coffee and sprudel wasser. My room was in the new part of the hotel

The hotel is in the middle of Kassel (Köningsplatz) and 10 minutes walk to the Documenta fifteen centre ruruHaus , Fridericianum museum and Documenta halle. Trams and busses nearby to all places

Breakfast buffet is typical but there are quite an assortment to choose from. Staffs are very helpful and quick to assist. The front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable regarding walking/touring the area

The room is especially spacious and accommodating for staying longer and hiking. I like the floor of the shower area, those stones reminds me of my childhood

We enjoyed our overnight stay here and would definitely consider a longer stay next time. They gave us a baby bed so we could have our baby sleeping nearby

Everything is very clean and well organized. The floors are reachable by stairs and a lift. The only downside is that there is no airconditioning and the windows can't be opened because there are no fly screens

Every room gets a bottle of mineral water you can get at the reception hall. Every person gets a room key card. The rooms are divided into three three-story buildings. There are also suites available

My colleague said his TV was positioned in a more standard manner. The bed was sufficiently comfortable. Shower water pressure was good with constant supply of hot water

We were allowed to upgrade to one of the suites and we were delighted with the quality, clean room with its own sauna, freestanding bathtub and modern bathroom. We felt very comfortable, the beds were very comfortable

The small continental breakfast for only 3. 50 eur absolutely sufficient even with lemon cake. I spiced it up with fresh rolls (a bakery is about 3 minutes away) and then it was perfect

There is shampoo in the shower but the liquid soap is on the wall outside of the shower? 🤔 The breakfast is wonderful, a good and large choice of foods, and offered on the buffet tables in large iron crockpots with lids instead of the awful large standard stainless steel rectangular catering pans with lids - that is a lovely touch

We are visiting from another country and got to the hotel past early morning. We were in need to find a room and Krebs was absolutely amazing

The pool is really cold! but it was luckily very hot during my stay so it was kind of refreshing. Two outside saunas are really nice, in an area behind the outdoor pool that is clothing optional which I thought was great

But otherwise it was a very quiet & relaxing stay. I was allowed to check out a slight bit later which I really appreciated, and the reception team was again very friendly

We book a room for 3 persons and we get good room with 2 big confortable beds, minibar empty for corona time but it's perfect for maintain cold your stuff

Toilet; Have a big shower 🚿 just they forget one big towel but for one night is not a big deal. The toilet light works with a sensors, nice. Next to the hotel on the left side, you have a parking for 7eur every 24h

Our family was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming night receptionist (I believe Majid was his name) who did his utmost to help us out with an extra bed, even though housekeeping naturally was not present this late
