The Hotel was good in general. The staff were helpful and kind. Rooms are quite big and comfortable, but the beds could be better. Bathrooms are also OK. Loved the sauna and swimming pool.

Large hotel perfect for events. Room very large, modern and clean. Restaurant and bar service is excellent. Large variety of food and drinks. Fast service considering the smount of attendees

La Strada is a place you want to lodge of you are around Kassel. The ambience, space, friendly staffs is top notch. I will surely lodge again if around Kassel

Very good hotel. Incredibly clean in the rooms. Very large and spacious. Beds are very comfy, shower pressure excellent. Rooms very quiet and great value.

A hotel booked for symposium with Bode die tur. A great location but why of why don’t they have air conditioning: but service was good.

Great stay and good food. Underground parking a bit expensive at €18 (outch). Had an extra charge on my credit card after checkout and still haven’t figured out what for. Not good. Otherwise would have been 5*

Room was average for the money and the star rating I was expecting more is regards quality. It was a smoking room but needs some plug in or spray to help with the stale smoke smell. Comfortable beds and clean sheets.

The hotel was fine for a basic short stay. It seemed clean and reasonably priced. The gym and sauna at the time of visit were available for 1 hour blocks for one person, which was nice

Small but conveniently located minutes away from the main train station. Good service, good breakfast, nice bar and a small but well equipped gym. The price/quality ratio is good

The staffs are friendly and speak English, quite good according to Germany standard. The price varies but rather reasonable during the Documenta 14. It is good for a short stay

Some of the staff were not so friendly. The food (salmon) was way overcooked but the breakfast was good. The underground parking was way too overpriced (€18 per day)

Great!!! Hotel, food, spa! I have rarely been to such a beautiful hotel. The quality is evident from the service to the food and high quality drinks. And all this is again crowned with a breathtaking environment

Excellent hotel! Smooth process at all levels. Plentiful buffet in the evening and in the morning. We had a great room, very clean, just the design of what is supposed to be a sink took a little getting used to

My recommendation: take advantage of the many offers and have a great time!

Decent hotel, we stayed in their biggest suite which was like $600+ a night. I did like the suite and the huge deck was nice too but the decor was a little questionable at times

I didn't really mind that though, my biggest issue was the service. The staff was often rude or straight up condescending, especially during check-in

Pool and spa closed because of COVID. Hotel could use a little TLC from corporate to spiff things up a bit in the lobby and hallways but it was a refuge for a much needed rest from travel

The good: the pool and sauna, the inside looks fine. The receptionists is friendly. The bad: the food is very plain/boring, the surrounding area is dead and close to noise road.

There was a nice restaurant about 2 minutes from it. The rooms were clean but the beds were a bit small. The service is brilliant you get free tickets for public transport

Late arrival, but the staff was friendly and efficient. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Some of the other clientele may have been a bit sketch, but quieted down by 2100 so not a problem

Spacious and super clean room but I didn't like the fact that one of my room neighbors hit the wall yelling at me because I was talking (not shouting) on the phone and he was probably trying to sleep

Pluses - clean comfortable room equipped with ceiling fan in humid and hot weather. Location not too far for visiting Documenta. Minuses - slow service or not enough people at the front desk

My room had a window to the street so it was a little bit noisy because I needed to open the window due to a high temperature (no air condition in the room)

Negative things - poor internet connection in my room (Nr. 4110) so my VPN connection to the company emails dropped down from time to time

The room is bright and comfortable. Breakfast buffet with a wide selection. Swimming pool and sauna are available for guests. The tram stop is just a few meters from the hotel and tickets are free for guests

The spa and swimming pool is excellent! Breakfast is good during weekends, plenty of choice. But on weekdays they offer very little, which annoyed me

It felt like a modern version of a 1950s room with earth tones, lots of wood trim and furnishings and natural uncarpeted floors. Both the room and bathroom were very large for both city center and European standards

She followed up with me a couple more times to get some information cleared up such as adding breakfast (not complimentary) and adding parking to the room. Gave us passes to the train and a map of where to go

Each room has a different set up so far that I have seen. Although the ammenities are scarce they make up for with great staff. There is easy access to everything since a main public transit hub is right next door

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Kurfurst Wilhelm 1 hotel. Super friendly staff! We stayed with two small children. We had more than enough space. Beds were comfortable and shower was great

We stayed at the junior suite and the room was super spacious and had an extra bed for our oldest and a baby cot for our little one. Amenities were good as well (Coffee, Tee, Water, AC and TV)

Our triple room was big and clean. Breakfast was good value for money. Close to the station and the team's to the city centre. Good restaurants and the Kurhessen Therme are close.

Less pricey than the others and better quality, who can say no to that? They were also glad to talk English to us which is less common than you would think! The food was also fairly priced and really tasty, kinda hate to say it but

So overall couldn't recommend it enough! And the sweet lady that served us 14/7-21 in the morning made our day with excellent service, if the owner reads this - give her a raise! Can't wait to come back //A satisfied couple

Very nice hotel. From Apple TV to spacy rooms or a smaller but very tasty breakfast. It is an example that you can create a nice experience when you understand the customer.

We stayed overnight on a long trip, so just one night but it was lovely, they were super-nice with our two young kids and put us at ease. We would love to come back again!

For the price it's hard to beat. In the heart of Kassel. Very honest breakfast and filtered coffee. Rooms tidy. Old charm. Friendly staff.

Not modern, but good. It still has a lot of 50s interior. If you like that kind of stuff you should visit. Pretty much in the centre of Kassel. Parking might be an issue. Only payed on public parking place.

The location is good and the rooms are comfy enough. But, the hotel could do with some upgrading when it comes to furniture and paint etc. The breakfast was not up to scratch either

Ok, the qualty do not meet up to the price. But overall a okey hotel for a night, just next to the shopping.

Visited this place on a summer trip to my family in Poland. In all the hotel was a 4/5 but i'll separate it. The rooms were what you'd expect in a cheap eu hotel and service was outstanding, especially breakfast

There is really good hotel foe business trip. Everything was clean and had a good sleep. If I will came here later, I would like to visit here again.

It wasn't ideal to stay there during day but in the small city of Kassel sleeping during night was not a problem

Hello im the musician who stayed at weekend. This morning I had to get a bus to Hamburg at 5:40am. I tried to go into reception and pay for room but it was locked and nobody there

I will pay my bill for last nights room during the week by credit card

Good equipped rooms with enough space. Good breakfast. Dog friendly. Free parking if you are lucky get a parking lot. Internet is extremely slow.

Rooms are comfortable but the breakfast is quite minimalistic and the room amenities would need to be rethought (e. there's a nespresso coffee machine in the room but you have to pay a ridiculous 1

A cheap hotel compared to other hotels in Kassel. The area is not the cleanest in Kassel, and it can be loud due to party music and traffic on the street, but for 1-2 nights it is still okay

Friendly staff. Walking distance to the city center and train station. Not the cleanest neighborhood. Room very clean with a large window. Shower doesn't drain very fast.

There was a persistent and irritating smoky smell that they could not make enough effort to dissipate, overall it is a decent budget place to stay

Did only visit für dinner. The Schnitzel was ok and service very attentive and quite eager to help against empty glasses.

If you ever stop in Kassel this is the place to live at! Superfriendly owner with ok quality apartments. We booked this last minut due to Corona and had really no expectations

Set beside a river, I woke up to the sound of a cat meowing. People were fishing on a walking trail by the river. I got to watch them while I ate breakfast for 17€. Could sit on the toilet without running into a wall

Stayed here for 1 day on our way to Hamburg. What a nice location directly on the Fulda River, Room had a great view with Balcony to sit and take it in. Bedroom and small living room was separated with a sofa, table

Everything was clean Bathroom was ok and we had nice and hot water. We didn't check every nook and cranny but overall good value for the price
